A static caravan is usually no wider than 14ft, while a twin-unit lodge can be up to 22ft, which is why so many have open-plan living rooms and vaulted ceilings. Some are built to the BS 3632 residential standard, with extra insulation, so they stay snug right through winter.

Any time of year, honestly. They're heated and built for every season, and each one has something different to enjoy.
Lambs in the fields, bluebell woods in late April and May, and quieter parks before Easter.
The busiest and dearest weeks are the school holidays, from late July to the end of August, so book early if you need those dates. Long light evenings to enjoy on the deck make up for it.
Golden woods, steaming tub evenings with a nip in the air and family getaways over October half term. The clocks go back at the end of October, too, which brings earlier dark skies for stargazing from the deck. It's our favourite season.
