We had such a lovely stay at this cottage, tucked away on a working farm but still really private. Robert and Sharon are genuinely lovely hosts, making us feel welcome from the start. The place is surprisingly spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, which made things easy. The bed was super comfy and the garden was perfect for our dog-completely dog-proof and nicely furnished. We enjoyed the walks nearby and Thaxted has some cracking restaurants like The Star and The Maypole. Definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic weekend here! The place really ticked all our boxes and were already planning to return. Our dogs had a ball - especially with the underfloor heating, which they adored. The garden was perfect for them to run around and play. Lunas wagging tail was proof enough - she came back with a strained tail from all the fun! Totally happy with our stay.

We stayed at this place recently and honestly, it was fantastic. The house has everything you could need and kept us really warm, which was perfect given the rainy December weather. The bath was such a treat and the shower was spacious too. The location is remote, so no noise from planes or fireworks - perfect for our dog who hates loud noises. Thanks a lot!

We stayed in this lovely, well-equipped cottage and loved how cosy it was, especially on a rainy winter day! The bath was fantastic and the shower was perfect after a long walk. Being near a flight path didnt bother us at all, so dont worry about that. Its a peaceful spot, great for dogs scared of fireworks. Thanks a lot for a wonderful stay!
