Cozy but a bit small lodge. I think smaller furnitures would fit better.

Just adore this little place. Our second visit and would definitely return again. Its a little slice of heaven. Love the hot tub overlooking the beach listening to the sound of the waves and watching and listening to everyone having fun.

Thank you for an amazing break away. We were planning to explore Devon from here as never been before but because of the incredible view from the Cabin and the fantastic beach below we nearly never left the area! This is a must stay! Fantastic non touristy little village with a local pub a short walk away. The cabin was fantastic clean and had everything we needed including great shower pressure. Can't fault the place!I am only giving a 4 star review as we booked a hot tub but unfortunately it was broken we were advised by hoseasons a week before and they gave a small discount however It didn't ruin the break it just would have been the cherry on the top. Will be back to actually explore the area! And thank you so much!

I really liked the look of the beach huts but hot tub ones unavailable, so I ended up booking the pad apartment. First off looked OK, but then looking round, it was one of the worst places I have stayed in.Paint on the walls in living room and the bedroom peeling away, lack of plug sockets in living room by sofa where you would sit, sofa has signs of wear and tear, an old door dumped on flower bed by outside seating area, underneath of boiler exposed, dishwasher broken, mattress collapsed so could feel every spring and never seen stains like it, floor dirty. Complaint and pictures sent off awaiting a response but would avoid at all costs!

Couch was uncomfortable as it was dralon and slippy .Bed was nice but a bit cramped and you couldn't leave the windows open so got hot. Shower was slso cramped and had tiles loose inside with some black mold behind the sink .

Everything is starting to look a bit sad.Shame, a few years ago, it felt luxurious, but there seems to be less here each year.It doesn't match up to the facilities offered at other venues for a similar price.Sadly, now, its quite overpriced for what they offer.

However, there were a few niggles with the apartment . - there were only 3 coat hangers for 2 people for a 7 night stay- the sofa and the 2 chairs in the living room are very uncomfortable - the mattress was very stained, although it did have a mattress protector on it- the wicker stool at the side of the bath in the bedroom was very dusty- although you have allocated parking space, it is very tight to get in and out at the top of a steep ramp. We were advised to be careful as other cars had been damaged on exiting- they only supplied 1 toilet roll for 2 people for a day stay- the blinds in the living room and bedroom have seen better days and could do with replacing. Having said all of the above, the views and location of the apartment outway the issues, and would definitely stay again.

Lovely little hut. Very clean. There were some wear and tear starting to show but we were not bothered by that. We didnt watch tv in the end as we were out so much but my husband put it on the first night and it was pretty bad signal so you couldnt watch anything. Internet connection good though.

The place was lovely, a great view and the bed was so comfy. Only thing Id say is the floors were still dirty, it wasnt super visible but if you wiped the floor after spilling something it would come up muddy, and if you wore white socks you could notice it.

We've now stayed twice in this lovely little lodge. The location overlooking the beach is great where steps lead to the South-west Coastal Path to Ilfracombe. Alternatively Ilfracombe was a 25 minute walk along the slightly less hilly road. We've absolutely no complaints about the lodge as we are happy to forgo the luxuries that a more expensive and updated lodge would have and will probably be back again.

we loved the coffee table turning into a dining table once we found it.Although small it had everything we needed in the accommodation. Hiring the robes for the hot tub was very simple and good quality.

We stayed in the Driftwood Premier Seaview lodge and it was great. We overlooked the bay and had a hot tub, which was amazing in the evening with the sun setting. The staff were very helpful and there is a good pub within walking distance. We will definitely return!

Just back from a lovely week in the so called dreaded no 1 and have to say what a great improvement no more frosting on the entrance doors and a new fence with chairs positioned to look out over the sea inside was a fantastic view even treated to seeing a seal bobbing about in the sea and a horse and rider riding the beach at sunset, yes the mirror still has water damage and the drawer bottom is worn but thats nothing at all to think about. The staff on site were helpful and friendly cant fault them or the location just sit in the hot tub and relax perfect!
