We booked here as the Premier Lodge we booked in to was described as accessible and wheelchair friendly, but the approach to the Lodge was difficult for my husband to negotiate, being curved and quite steep for a wheelchair. Once inside it was accessible to him using his rollator, but the toilet in the wet room was too close to the sink with no leg room for him to use comfortably.And as we left the staff who dropped off the clean linen for the next guests placed it right in the middle of the path out of the lodge!

Pity there waa a loose door handle on bathroom. Reported.but not fixed. Otherwise very comfy cosy lodge. Had to ask for lightbulb to be replaced, done quixkly.

Lodge showing signs of being tired, even though due to Cheddar Woods staff we had a fantastic time.Merely a suggestion, surrounding decking could undertake closer scrutiny before lodge becoming available for new incumbents.

Our accommodation was a fantastic size but a little disappointing cleanliness wise. It had an ant problem, mainly due to poorly hoovered living area carpets, lots of marks on the tables & dining chairs, mould around the toilets and shower. A strange smell greeted us & when we used the hoover we understood why. Clearly in the past wet carpets had been hoovered so it emitted a damp dog type smell, so this had caused the strange smell & meant we couldnt use the hoover during our stay.

So happy with this resort. We usually book AirBnbs or Center Parcs and are 100% Hoseasons converts now! The location is spot on for day trips, the facilities available are leaner in comparison to Center Parcs but fantastic value for money. Every member of staff we interacted with was friendly, polite, informative and helpful. The resort was apparently fully booked but always felt quiet and service was swift. Lodges are well insulated and warm, if there was noise at night we never heard it. They are also well equipped and very comfy beds. 10/10.

We stayed at the lodge recently and loved the swimming pool-it was really nice! Unfortunately, the activities were a letdown since everything was fully booked. The reception area felt cramped and the bistros food didnt impress us, especially the chips, which were undercooked. The bar staff seemed a bit miserable, apart from one barman. Still, the lodge has potential.

We decided to choose a larger lodge with hot tub and unfortunately we were very disappointed as the lodge was very tired and in need of a bit of care and updating. Also the BBQ which was advertised with the lodge had no gas in the bottle and they didnt have any spare, which was very disappointing as the weather was glorious. Also no welcome pack or robes for the hot tub and the glass surround on the decking was covered in bird mess. The Brunel Premier Elegance Lodge definitely had lost its elegance ??

Very clean and well equipped kitchen. Third bedroom (twin) was tiny, just 2 beds with no space between them and a very small wardrobe. Fine for 1 small person but not suitable really for 2 people to share.

Our Lodge was lovely and clean upon arrival! We had a nice decking and plenty of room to enjoy! We were surrounded by lovely scenery, trees and animals, and the weather was pretty nice for a couple of days too. It was definitely comfortable. It's ashame we didn't think to book a lodge with a hot tub but all well. One of my family members allowed me to use theirs for a while. ????So yeah, pretty good. ????

great value for money, it was one of the cheapest with a hot tub which is I think it was alittle more used than the last one we stayed in. However we had everything we needed and the was clean and tidy. The teens loved the hot tub and the space was ideal.

The accommodation was spacious and had all required chocking equipment. Beds comfortable and nice hot showers. That were a few small things that needed fixing hot tub cover zip was broken so water kept going into the top and outdoor table was missing a glass top. They had run out of gas for bbq but staff did their best to try find a partially filled bottle from the site.

Overall the lodge is lovely and has everything you need. Lot of dust/webs down the side of the wardrobe in the main bedroom and all the beds have metal frames which are extremely noisy - you wake up every time you move
