Went during the school holidays so but more expensive.

Lovely lodge. We were in 56 which did have room for a medium and small car otherwise we would have struggled with parking. Only negative is that it had the path right behind leading to the woodland walk and activity area and people let their dogs bark and talked so maybe a sign reminding them would be helpful. Hot tub was lovely, checked every day. Nice decking area and we appreciated the dishwasher and washing machine.

By far the best Lodge I have stayed in. We have 3, excellent sized, rooms and 2 bathrooms with lovely warm showers and a big bath. Perfect amenities

Comfortable accommodation with everything we needed

Clean and comfy, but the hot tub was overflowing and it was switched off when we arrived. We didn't get to use it first night

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. We stayed in an Axbridge Lodge which was thoroughly clean and equipped with everything we needed. The sachets for your first tea/coffee and small washing up liquid, sponge and tea towel were an unexpected but lovely touch and we had soap and travel shower gel/shampoo provided in the main bathroom. The towels were also plentiful and clean. The beds were comfy and the sofas great for relaxing after a long day exploring. There was a freeview TV provided in the living area and all bedrooms. Outside, we loved the decking area, perfect for the warm evenings we had and lovely for a cuppa in the morning, listening to the birds with our dog. We only used the bar/bistro for drinks but staff were friendly and there was a lovely atmosphere. We used to farm shop for a couple of essentials too. We didnt use the spa or pool so cant comment there. The location was lovely, surroundings were clean and there are lots of walking trails nearby and perfectly situated for us to explore with our pooch, who loved her holiday. Cheddar Gorge is a must! Would happily return (and are planning to).

The lodge was lovely and clean with a good supply in the welcome pack. The beds were lovely and comfortable and it was very handy having the additional tv in the bedrooms.

Great lodge. Really sad to leave. The facilities were great such as dishwasher freezer and even a washing machine. Really comfortable night sleep. 100% recommended

Excellent customers service, last minute adjustment was handled professionally, staff were courteous and helpful. Small refund due to the unforseen adjustment was refunded in a couple of days.

Awful Weve stayed here 4 times nows. Unfortunately this will be the last. We had issue after issue within 5 minutes of arriving. Hot tub lid left open when we arrived, full of bugs and dirt. Spider webs around every window frame (old webs). Grease dripping from the extractor fan, upon arrival. Broken machines and Chunks of food in the dishwasher. The dishwasher then broke and it took 4 days for this to be fixed. In the end they bought in a new machine but we lost a day at the lodge due to work men. Then the hot tub broke - they fixed but meant we couldnt use the hot tub for a few hours. Then the washing machine broke, again had to get maintenance out and meant we couldnt use the lodge services. This happened twice. In the end we mopped up the water ourselves with towels and ringed our clothes over the bath. Our stay was ruined due all of this and weve been offered compensation but still feel like its not enough as more than 20% of our stay was affected. They couldnt move us to another lodge unless we left our trip early and had to confirm this to them on the phone z(not giving us long to think about it). We had spa treatments booked in and were told by the spa we would lose the money spent on the treatments if we cancelled, when I spoke to them on the phone, which we since then found out was not true, as you have a 24 hour cancellation period, so we could have cancelled. Its ruined our special place as we got engaged here last year and this was our only holiday before getting married to celebrate. Only holiday weve had in which we wanted to get home from :(

It really met all our expectations and we loved it!

Good location and nice grounds, but our lodge was tired and needed some redecorating, and a bit more attention to detail when being cleaned. For the price of the lodge for a weekend we were disappointed. I wouldnt be hurrying back.

Clean and tidy. Ovens a little on the slow side for cooking and shower not as powerful but great otherwise

Value for money it was really good but it did need some upgrades and basic maintenance. Could have been cleaner

We booked here as the Premier Lodge we booked in to was described as accessible and wheelchair friendly, but the approach to the Lodge was difficult for my husband to negotiate, being curved and quite steep for a wheelchair. Once inside it was accessible to him using his rollator, but the toilet in the wet room was too close to the sink with no leg room for him to use comfortably.And as we left the staff who dropped off the clean linen for the next guests placed it right in the middle of the path out of the lodge!

Absolutely loved our stay! The lodge was super comfy and we had fun.
