Extremely spacious and comfortable. Well kitted out with everything we needed, including washer/dryer, dishwasher and the hot tub was amazing!Lovely private feeling location, with beautiful views of the surroundings.Only minor issue is that the laminate was coming away on quite a few kitchen doors, so this looked a bit tired.

Great lodge with good facilities. Lovely bathroom with TV (had to ask for replacement remote as it wasnt working).Good size lodge, nice hot tub - although no temperature control (was a little too hot at times).Used gas BBQ, nice extra.Sofas are leather and firm style. Didnt find comfortable to sit for long period of time.Furniture is antique style, hence why people say it needs some TLC, it is supposed to be that way!I liked the ceiling fans, will be welcome in the summer.Lodges are in a peaceful location at top of park

Great holiday and lovely staff

Clean and comfortable, complete with everything you need in the kitchen. The setting was perfect in a quiet spot in the park and not overlooked by anyone else, which was great! We did have a damp/stale water smell coming from the sink or washing machine, which was quite strong. We had to make sure to close the sink plugs every day and leave a little window open to help.Otherwise, the beds and space were super comfortable and homely. WiFi worked well, too, and the outside space was lovely, too.

Had a lovely stay, very clean. Had everything you need. Would recommend.

Comfortable lodge. Maybe a little tired

Comfortable and well stocked with necessary electrical and kitchen utensils. Not overlooked and the hot tub was lovely.

The lodge size was good. It wasn't amazingly clean. Areas weathered, doors damaged. The facilities were quite small considering how many could be there. Bowling is noisy near seating area/ pool tables. Not many activities on last week.

Rated comfort as a 3 as our bed and the pillows needed updating. We did feed this back to reception staff upon leaving.

Accommodation well located, spacious and well equipped. The only thing that wasnt right was that we had quite a bit of mildew/mould smell in the caravan and looking along the carpet and under the bedside tables you could see mould creeping up there as well as in the shower and both kids have allergies which flares up.

Our 2nd time here. Nice lodge, but had plumbing issues and was a little tired looking. It also had had no gate to prevent young children or dogs escaping the outdoor space, which meant we had to have the doors closed at all times.Had a relaxing weekend though.

Needs some TLC

Lovely site but lodge poor and in need of TLC. 4 bedroom lodge but rooms small for what you would expect. You would struggle in communal areas if 8 people.

Nice lodge in a nice and convenient location.

Wonderful trip. Our accommodation was lovely, very clean. We had everything we needed. The pool was very basic but the bar and restaurant was very accommodating for young children with a soft play and games room.

Some minor defects in the caravan. Such as split panelling on the fridge. Rusty and torn breakfast stools and burn marks on the kitchen side. Otherwise beautiful caravan and very well equipped.

Love staying at the Cheddar Spa. The lodge was comfortable and cosy and had everything that is needed. Hopefully will visit again soon.

Mendip 3 was disappointing. We assumed it was a lodge like in their other resorts but realised its actually listed as a holiday home which is basically a static caravan.We had two of this accommodation and both were the same, clean but aged and tired, needs to be renovated - blinds in lounge area of "lodge" 2 kept falling down, massive gap above front door, only some of the radiators heated up, mould on back of curtains in main bedrooms of both "lodges" and the inside of the kettle is disgusting to the point that we went out and bought our own. It is also very dark in the living room, needs to have a lamp as too dark without and too bright when light is switched on.Accommodation aside we enjoyed our time there, just slightly let down by the accommodation but jot enough yo warrant a complaint - will certainly return again but opt for different accommodation on site.

The lodge was spacious and very confortable. The kitchen was fully equipped for the cooking, loved the fact there was a large freezer there. 2 bathrooms 1 with shower and toilet etc and one with a bath toilet and sink bedrooms were a lovely size and the mattresses were really really comfortable like home from home.
