Weve tried a few lodges and this one is our favourite. There are great views over the pond thanks to the two French windows, one of which is in the bedroom. The sofas are comfy and the other amenities mean that you can spend your whole time there if you just want to relax. Alternatively, take some time to explore Hankley Common or try the Duke of Cambridge pub next door for a change of scenery.

We had a great stay at this Hoseasons Lodge - the lodge had all more amenities than stated in the listing, including a Bluetooth speaker, hairdryer and TV, as well as washing up liquid and soap, and it was very clean and tidy. The sauna was lovely and hot tub on the private decking at the back was great. The only thing that could be improved is the oven- it was very smoky when we used it to cook. Other than that, the kitchen was great and well stocked with utensils, and even a wine bottle opener! Very happy with our stay, would definitely stay again!

Only small criticism is that the sofas were not the comfiest and could have done with some cushions

Spacious accommodation, though perhaps time to update some of the furniture. The mattress had seen better days. But overall comfortable and we had a great time.

Excellent position with some lovely walks from the lodge and locally. Staff very helpful however lodge looking a little bit tired and could do with some TLC. Nice outlook over the pond with the ducks.

The lodge is in a great spot, perfect for peaceful walks around the pond and nearby. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Its true, the place could do with a bit of sprucing up, but we enjoyed it!

We had a fantastic stay at Tilfords Darwin Escapes. The mornings were made special by the ducks, geese and squirrels bustling around while we enjoyed breakfast. The lodge was well-equipped for self-catering and the staff were genuinely friendly. Definitely a relaxing getaway!

We had a lovely stay at Tilford Lodge Retreat - perfect if youre after some peace and quiet. The location is great, right next to a huge golf course with plenty of bridle paths for walks. Theres a charming pub just next door and a short stroll to a small coffee shop plus a convenience store, which was handy. The lodges are well-equipped and we really appreciated the underfloor heating and dishwasher - definitely a plus! The only thing is parkings a bit tight with just one space per lodge, though you can sometimes snag a visitor spot. The lodges are quite close together, so we did get woken up early by neighbours chatting outside our window, but I guess its just luck with whos staying there. Overall, wed happily come back!

We had such a lovely stay at the lodge! It was spotless and super comfy. The kitchen was fully stocked, with little touches like washing up liquid and a tea towel, which was great. The hot tub was a real highlight and the bed was so cosy. We did have a minor issue with the shower when we arrived, but Adam sorted it out quickly and was really helpful. The pub next door serves fantastic food and were already looking forward to coming back!

Our lodge was beautiful, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could need including complimentary washing up liquid and a tea towel. The hot tub was wonderful and bed was very comfortable. We had some issues with the shower on arrival however, these were quickly resolved by Adam who was so kind and helpful. Very close proximity to a beautiful pub next door which serves excellent food. I would highly recommend and we already can't wait to return.

Another great stay @ Tilford Woods Lodge Retreat. Everything you need all under one roof and the Hot Tub as always was a bonus. Our favourite place to unwind and relax every once in a while. We will be back and would recommend to anyone just wanting to escape the hustle and bustle. Lots to do in and around surrounding areas. Look forward to our next time @ Tilford Woods.

The lodge was generally tidy and served its purpose well. Some areas looked a bit worn out and could use a refresh, but it didnt really affect our stay. We enjoyed a peaceful, quiet weekend, which was exactly what we needed. Not bad at all!
