We booked a dog walking getaway and honestly, it was just what we needed. The place had great quality accommodation, with lovely pubs and eateries nearby. Plenty of open fields for off-road adventures and the dog loved it so much, she didnt want to leave the car to go home!

We stayed recently and honestly, the WiFi was pretty patchy, which was a bit frustrating. No hairdryer or tea towels and we had to bring our own washing up liquid. Only three takeaways deliver here, so plan ahead. But Shere itself is lovely, especially Hillys tea shop - the cakes are divine!

Comfortable well equipped and clean lodge. Excellent shower and working washing machine included. Comfortable seating area and great kitchen, 2 out of 3 beds very comfortable to sleep on.

Great Lodge with lots of space.The mattress in the main bedroom was sprung whereas the one in the other bedroom was memory foam. Didn't stop us sleeping but was a bumpy sleep and the only reason we have scored a 4 star otherwise would've been 5.

I can't fault Edgeley Park for anything. The park is in a perfect location, quiet, beautiful countryside with loads to see and do. We live in France, so this is the perfect place for us to stay when visiting friends and family in the area.The park is beautifully kept and spotlessly clean and tidy. We've stayed in 2 different lodges, on 3 different occasions and the only thing I would say, in one of the lodges is that the mattress was a little on the lumpy side and we could feel the springs. We mentioned this to reception and they were extremely apologetic and gave us a couple of brand new duvets to put on the mattress, which was just enough to give us a week of comfortable nights' sleep.The lodges are lovely, really well equipped with modern facilities and they are spotlessly clean.The pool is a massive bonus and my wife enjoyed a swim every morning.Pricing is really competitive and, for what you get, extremely good value for money. I would recommend Edgeley Park to anyone, and will be back again and again.

Nice layout , had a bath but not sure what made it superior , kitchen cupboards were peeling off , could do with a proper clean and not just because it was a pet friendly, dogs dont leave crushed biscuits on back of sofa or fag butts on decking. Was ok though but wouldnt choose that lodge again.

We had a lovely stay overall, the location was fantastic and really nice for exploring. However, the pool access was a bit of a letdown - just one 30-minute slot each day felt quite limiting. Booking ahead was necessary, but it wasnt clear in the confirmation, which was frustrating. Still, we enjoyed it!

The caravan was clean and tidy and all the facilities you need are available inside the caravan lovely deck in area a nice surrounding plants and flowers round the caravan parking bay next to your caravan overall a very good holiday and would recommend to anyone

Wed definitely stay here again, the lodge was lovely overall. Only small gripe is the late check-in time at 5pm - feels a bit much. Also, we noticed a few cobwebs near the lounge windows, which could do with a bit more attention. Still, pretty good stay!

We loved this cosy little cottage! Its tucked away nicely, so it feels peaceful but still close enough to enjoy the local shops and pubs. The hot tub was fantastic after a day out and the underfloor heating kept everything super warm. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie made us feel right at home. Cant wait to return for a longer stay soon!

This place is fantastic! The cottage is super well-kept and has everything you need. We loved the endless dog walks just outside the door and meeting the farm animals was such a treat-especially Penelope, the curious pig. The host was really friendly and quick to respond. Its a perfect getaway for us and the pups. Well be back for sure, great value! Highly recommended.

We just got back from a really nice four-night stay at this cottage. The owners were super friendly and helpful but never intrusive, which we appreciated. The fenced garden was perfect for our dog to run around freely. Inside, the place had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen. We also enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and used the BBQ one evening. Wed definitely come back and already recommended it to friends. Thanks for a great break!

We stayed at the lodge and really liked the overall vibe, but there were quite a few cobwebs and spiders around the windows, curtains, blinds and even in the bath, which was a bit of a nightmare for someone with a phobia. Also, only 3 chairs in the dining area meant we couldnt all sit together for dinner. Still, the rest of the lodge was spot on.

We stayed at this charming cottage on a working farm and loved how private it was. Robert and Sharon are genuinely lovely hosts. The place itself is huge, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that we didnt want to leave! The garden is perfect for dogs, totally secluded and furnished nicely. There are plenty of walks nearby and Thaxted has some cracking restaurants like The Star and The Maypole. All in all, wed definitely recommend it!
