We had a lovely stay at this charming cottage tucked away on a working farm, yet it feels so private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are genuinely lovely and welcoming. The place is super spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that we didnt want to leave. The garden is perfect for dogs - totally secluded and nicely furnished. Therere plenty of walks nearby and Thaxteds restaurants, especially The Star and The Maypole, are well worth a visit. Wed definitely come back!

We had a lovely stay at this cottage! The place is super well-kept and has everything you might need. There are loads of walks for the dogs right outside, which was perfect. The host was really friendly and quick to respond. Meeting the farm animals, especially Penelope the pig, was such a treat. We'll definitely come back, great value! Highly recommend.

We stayed at Ditchling Lodge recently and overall, it was a relaxing break. The bedding and towels were spotless, which was lovely. The layout is quite nice, though the worktop space is a bit tight. It definitely needs some maintenance and a good clean-up, but we had a good time!

We had a fantastic stay at the lodges! Everything was spotless and well-equipped, making it really comfortable. The views were stunning and its so easy to hop on the train to Arundel for a day out. The walks by the river were gorgeous, with wild orchids, horses, owls at night and even two pigs seen from the window. So relaxing!

We had such a lovely stay at this peaceful little spot. The lodge in Goring, No1, was really cosy and offered stunning views over the tidal river and the fields - perfect for relaxing. When we arrived, the warm welcome made us feel right at home and the key fob for the main gate was handy for coming and going as we pleased. Parking right outside the lodge was a bonus, making unpacking a breeze. We slept really well, despite the proximity to the train line; honestly, it didnt bother us at all. Its a great spot if you want a day out without using the car - lots of nearby attractions. We popped over to Arundel, tried some amazing cakes at LG Cafe with its funky decor and enjoyed a pint at The Black Rabbit pub across the river. The National Trust properties nearby are worth a visit too. The Riverside Park tea room served a delicious cream tea and its where we checked in and out. Were definitely coming back!

We had a lovely stay at this charming cottage. The owners were incredibly welcoming and couldnt have been more helpful, which made us feel right at home. The place itself is adorable, with cosy spaces and a lovely strong shower that was perfect after a day out. Parking right next to the cottage was a real bonus and the whole place was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed some beautiful walks nearby through the fields to Thaxted, which is full of character with its half-timbered houses and windmill. Definitely recommend for a relaxing break!

We had a fantastic week staying here with our two mini dachshunds. The cottage is really charming and the hot tub was a lovely bonus, especially during the scorching weather, as it was cooled and quite refreshing. The hosts were warm, friendly and made us feel very welcome. It was nice to see their horses being taken out to the fields each day - such a lovely touch. Being close to Stansted meant we could watch the planes land, which we found quite entertaining. Overall, a great place wed happily recommend to others!

We just got back from a really nice four-night stay at this cottage. The owners were super friendly but never intrusive, just there if we needed anything. The fenced garden was perfect for our dog to run around freely. The place had everything we could ask for and the hot tub was a real highlight! We had such a lovely weekend here! The place really ticked all our boxes and were already planning to return. Our dogs especially enjoyed the underfloor heating and the garden was perfect for them to play in. We spent a week here in July with our two miniature dachshunds and honestly, it was lovely. The village of Thaxted is charming and our dogs loved making new friends around the area. The cottage itself was really nice, especially the hot tub-perfect for unwinding after hot, sunny days and the water was cool enough to be refreshing. The hosts were very welcoming and it was nice to see them taking their dogs out to the fields daily. Yes, its near Stansteds flight path, but we actually enjoyed watching the planes land. Would definitely recommend!
