Really enjoyed the stay overall
James
Date of stay: 3rd November 2024
The lodge was cosy but smart, with all the essentials youd need. The bed was really comfy and made for a good sleep. We only stayed four nights but felt like we couldve easily stayed longer. Definitely coming back!

We stayed here for our daughters wedding nearby and honestly, it had its ups and downs. The place was comfy enough and with the weather being a bit grim, the heating was a real lifesaver-especially for my parents in their 80s. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, which made a difference. That said, the cottage did lack a few basics-no toilet roll, no mirror and the bathroom bin wasnt emptied, which was a bit disappointing. Also, no safety rails on the stairs and not a full set of crockery. Still, we appreciated the warm welcome!

The crockery situation was a bit tight for just three of us and clear instructions on how to operate the central heating wouldve been useful. Not ideal!

Great caravan, very new and spotless!

We had a lovely stay and definitely plan to return. Being pet friendly was a real plus and its the perfect spot for some peace and quiet. Wifi was a bit rubbish, though!

Date of stay: 1st November 2023
We had a pretty decent stay overall. The staff were friendly, which was great for our little one and the campsite itself was lovely. The caravan was comfortable, just what we needed. Only thing was, some staff seemed a bit untrained - couldnt even get a hot drink because they didnt know how, yet managers were drinking theirs. The pool was closed briefly and the toilets couldve been cleaner, but its a decent spot for families.

We splurged on a new lodge this time and it really paid off! Gorgeous spot right at the front, couldnt ask for better.

We stayed at this cottage recently and it was pretty nice overall. A few small things could make all the difference, like some door mats inside, a tin opener and a tiny measuring jug wouldve been handy. We also missed having some basic cleaning tools like a broom, dustpan and mop. The hot tub was a lovely touch once it was sorted, though the window handles could do with some attention. Still, we enjoyed our short break!

The caravans are super tidy and spacious, really impressed! Only downside is limited cutlery.

We had a lovely stay, but unfortunately, two in our group found the sofas quite uncomfortable due to disabilities.

We had such a lovely stay! The staff were genuinely friendly and always ready to help. The parks perfect for pets and we cant wait to come back with the family and our dog!
Emma Clarke, Melton Mowbray
Date of stay: 7th August 2020
The beds were super cosy and the linen felt really luxurious. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, though a few glasses and cutlery couldve been cleaner. Still, overall great stay!

Date of stay: 11th November 2019
We really enjoyed our stay! The caravan was lovely-cozy, warm and spotless. Staff were super helpful throughout. My only little complaint is that there was no toilet paper in the bathroom when we arrived, which was a bit annoying.
Sam, Manchester
Date of stay: 8th November 2019
The caravan was quite a bit smaller than shown in the photos, but perfect for us two. Cheers!

Great spot, lots to keep us busy!
Jamie, Manchester
Date of stay: 26th August 2019
We had an absolutely lovely time! The caravans were in great shape and had a really practical layout for our family of 16. The shower was surprisingly powerful, which was a nice surprise and they had all the kitchen essentials we needed. We brought our own stuff just in case, but everything was already there. Definitely coming back!

Great overall, just wish there was a balcony.
Amelia, Leigh Lancashire
Date of stay: 17th June 2019
We had a great long weekend visiting the site and exploring the lovely surroundings. The area itself was really nice, perfect for a relaxing break. The only downside was the caravan - it wasnt very clean, with dirt and dust everywhere. The mop was pretty grim and stunk, so we had to put it outside. Thankfully, staff sorted it quickly when we mentioned it, which was good. A cafe or restaurant on-site wouldve made it perfect, though!
Emma, Preston
Date of stay: 3rd June 2019
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The caravan was quite lovely and the shower was powerful and relaxing. The only downside was it was meant for 8 people but only had one toilet, which was a bit tricky with 7 of us. There was also a spot in the shower room that could've fit another. Still, a nice place!

We had a fantastic time! The place was spotless and welcoming. The entertainment team really went above and beyond for the kids. Absolutely loved the crafts and singing sessions, such lovely people.

The caravan was decent and it was great that beds were made upon arrival. Gas and electric included, which was a bonus! Overall, a pretty hassle-free stay.
