Kent » Dymchurch

Come to New Beach for everything that’s great about a family caravan holiday by the sea.

Oh, I do like to be beside the seaside! Well, you can’t get much closer to the sea than at New Beach, just over the road from the Kent coast between Dymchurch and Hythe.

You won’t be short of things to do either; New Beach is in a prime location and boasts many exciting places to visit including local animal parks, a number of Theme Parks or even historic castles.

In 2018 New Beach opened a brand new entertainment complex.

Kitted out with the latest showbiz technology, and a high-tech lighting and sound system, it stages amazing West End-style live shows through the holiday season.

Along with a new arcade, there’s also a funky bar with super-size TV screens, a restaurant, a mini-supermarket, and more.

Fancy a day exploring? New Beach provides the ideal base for discovering Kent’s many interesting towns and attractions.

Explore the historical town of Hythe (just 3 miles away) or pick up some bargain labelled clothes at Ashford Designer Village, only a 20-minute drive from the park.

Revel in the views of nearby Lympne Castle with classic steam trains passing daily through the Kent countryside via the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway Line.

Or if that sounds a little strenuous you can always take it easy and relax on the park.

For great food and drink visit our Neptune Pub & Carvery or the Restaurant & Entertainment Venue.

Or perhaps take a dip in our heated indoor swimming pool - which can include brilliantly fun activities like Water Walkers and Sea Scooters.

So if you’re looking for a great value Kent holiday, you can’t get much better than New Beach.

We look forward to welcoming you soon!

Please note that to ensure everyone enjoys a great holiday and to keep traffic noise to a minimum, we request that guests park their vehicles in the main carpark located by reception.

Please advise us if you will require assistance getting from your vehicle to your accommodation.

Beds were super uncomfortable. We moved a couple of small shelving units to put beds together and found a lot of empty packets and tweezers. They had put sharp knives in the bottom cupboard in reach of children.

Overall very dissapointed, the caravan was dirty and things like the back off the remote was missing exposing the batteries - I have a 3 year old so this was very dangerous . The bed I slept on must be broken or very old as it was sinking to one side just so uncomfortable I hardly slept . They forgot the high chair . The food was horrendous, 1 hour 45 min wait and it was cold when arrieved , offered half a refund. The sound from the entertainment was awful , soo loud it made the speakers sound as if it was going to blow . Swimming pool was lovely . And beaches things to do off site lovely . We would 100% never ever return . 10 of us agreed .

Good points* Lovely caravan, spotless clean.* Fantastic staff, all extremely friendly and helpful* Neptunes Carvery next door was excellent. Food such good value, and staff there outstanding. * Entertainment team worked so hard, fantastic singing performances from all. Not so good points* Quite deceiving where the beach is, its quite a long walk (well over a mile) if you dont want to take the car* Entertainment - although the staff were fantastic and their singing was great, thats all the evening entertainment ever was, then singing. Wheres the comedy? Where the band? Wheres the tribute act? Wheres the magic act? Every other holiday park we have been to had something different every night. Bearing in mind this is high season, middle of August. It was all just a bit disappointing. * Food in the entertainment hall - not good. Takes ages to come and is mediocre at best. * Long queues for the bar. Slow (although lovely) staff and often only one person serving. * Unsavoury families - you get people from all walks of life at holiday parks, thats the fun of it. But here the security guards spent most of their evenings in the outside park keeping kids in line whose parents just didnt give a toss. Unruly kids that were bullying smaller ones and backchatting adults who tried to intervene. Nice.

Accommodation was very good but the evening entertainment block really let the holiday down. For most of the evening there would be only one member of staff on the bar to take orders for food and drink and to deal with the children asking for the nearby machines to be fixed. Food took a long time to arrive and showed signs of being rushed with some parts being overcooked and others raw. On the last night after an hours wait was told that my order ticket had not been put in the kitchen so although hungry asked for my money back. when ordering that meal I also asked for a bitter shandy and was asked by the lone member behind the bar if I wanted Fosters! Fosters is a larger not a bitter which any bar staff should surely know. She was also the person responsible for not putting my food order in. IF there are only going to put one person behind the bar they should use somebody who knows what they are doing. the place was always cold which was also commented on by other holiday makers making the place you would not want to stay in for more than the time it took to eat, or not in my case, your evening meal. entertainment was from one of the members of staff singing far too loudly and too close to the mike. they'd have been more entertaining if they'd have helped out behind the bar! The Neptune Bar a short walk away although dearer had a good selection of food, good staff and people who knew how to pour a bitter shandy!

although the caravan was comfortable . The cleanliness when we stepped in was not to bad.however we found it did need a bit more cleaning was required before we settled in . The site could do with paths leading up to the vans and the bins could have done with being placed in dessinated areas rather than in car parking spaces,

Could have been cleaner, oven was grubby and there was a shaving razor left on top of the shower from the last people. It would be nice for at least a toilet roll to be left for you just encase like us you are late and forget essentials

The van was really spacious especially as we had a three bedroom for only two of us.
Plenty of clean bedding, and two bathrooms one with shower. Plenty of hot water and heating. Could not fault it.
