Gwynedd » Bala,
Pen-Y-Garth Lodges offers a serene escape, nestled within stunning landscaped grounds and only a short stroll from the tranquil beauty of Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake).

As part of our exclusive Evermore Lodge Holidays Collection, this is the perfect retreat for those who wish to immerse themselves in the natural splendor of the Welsh "Lake District," set against the majestic backdrop of Eryri (Snowdonia).

Here, you’ll find an ideal sanctuary to unwind, surrounded by some of Wales’ most breathtaking landscapes.

Each lodge is thoughtfully positioned to frame the gorgeous surroundings, with interiors that blend modern elegance and cozy, home-like touches.

Imagine a place where towering mountains meet serene valleys, where glistening lakes are bordered by lush forests—all with fewer crowds than much of Snowdonia, allowing you to soak up the true Welsh charm of the area.

We’re pleased to offer a fully fenced dog park, free for all our guests to enjoy! For added convenience and privacy, you can reserve a private time slot at reception when you check in.

Nearby, the charming market town of Y Bala offers a taste of Welsh country life, with its historic streets lined with traditional shops in picturesque settings.

For those seeking adventure, Llyn Tegid is a paradise for sailing and watersports, while the region is a dream come true for hikers.

Families can enjoy a balance of adventure and relaxation, with the added convenience of access to the nearby Bala Lake Hotel and Spa.

Here, guests staying at Pen-Y-Garth can enjoy a range of facilities, including an indoor swimming pool, spa, activities, restaurant, and bar—all within a mile of the park.

Charges apply for organized activities, the swimming pool, and spa services.

Mixed feelings about these lodges, positives were lodges were very clean and in lovely surroundings, easy to walk into Bala (around 20 mins) but disappointed with how the lodges were situated. Our lodge had no privacy at all when using hot tub. It was literally positioned right next to next lodges windows and had no screen or trees so literally people in next lodges were sat in their living room watching us so felt very uncomfortable. Lodges were all situated near to each other so spoilt the surrounding views. Double bed was very small and bedrooms cramped. The lodges were very clean so cant fault that but just disappointed with the lack of privacy with hot tub. Maybe if they put up a screen or planted trees would improve the situation

We had a lovely stay here and a week was perfect. The cabin was well maintained and cosy, and the hot tub is very private next to the fields. Only things to note were the lack of clear check in instructions and wifi was poor

Beautiful lodge, clean comfortable, and everything you need is already in the lodge, site is also very peaceful and clean, we have recommended this site to friends and family and we are already looking to book for next year. Would give more stars if we could. Excellent in ever way

Lovely lodge. Only criticism is that one of the sofas needs replacing. It's been repaired but was very uncomfortable

Very tired and worn. Cupboards and shelves were thick in dust. Crockery was all filthy, plates and bowls must have been put away wet as all had puddles on them. Carpet needs replacing throughout. Most window locks were broken off and door was difficult to open and lock. Decking had chicken wire on it to stop you slipping but this was broken and a trip hazard in places. Shower pressure was good though and beds were comfy.

Lodge was comfortable for a family of 4 and we got a very good price for a 4 night stay in the holidays. Hot tub was a great addition which we enjoyed. Was so peaceful and relaxing wish we had stayed longer!

We have stayed in a lot of these lodges over the last few years, we have yet to find one with comfortable beds. The bath/ shower rooms are just about adequate. Good water pressure which is a bonus. Well equipped but still charging for Internet which most places now have for free.

Fantastic break away, close to Bala and we had a wonderful time. The lodge was lovely although we were right next to the childrens play area, which overlooked us when using the hot tub (lodge no 1) but was not too much of a problem most of the time as it was quite quiet, but would have been nice to have a bit more privacy. overall had a fantastic time and loved the park and lodge. Issues setting up the WiFi initally but reception sorted it straight away when asked. Everyone was lovely and friendly. Would definitely return but may request a lodge further down the site rather than right next to the playground.

We had a wonderfully relaxing and peaceful weekend at Pen-y-Garth Lodge Park. The lodge was clean and comfortable, although the decor felt somewhat outdated compared to other lodges we have visited in the past. Despite this, the overall surroundings made our stay enjoyable. We will come back.

Fabulous holiday park, very clean and well maintained, lodge was very spacious and lovely little homely touches which make this very comfortable, loved the outside BBQ and fire pit under the paragola with lights and great seating area, also the hot tub was an great addition overlooking the mountains view, the additional seating area with a gate to stop your dog/s escaping which is a reassurance, but down by the BBQ the dog can escape from under the bushes onto the site, just a little mention by al means its a fabulous holiday park and very close to lake a steam train just 5 minutes down the road and a town 10 mins away by car highly recommend ????????????????????

When arriving at the sight office was closed, we never received an email to say which lodge we was in or anything else. Call site care taker and was very helpful and got us sorted very quickly. The lodge was stunning in and out couldnt say a bad word about the place easy to find and great parking. The hot tube was the highlight of the evening with a glass or two of winesThe village and water activities near by was amazing, definitely will be booking again soon for longer.

All in all a nice setting but the cleanliness needs looking at. Floors utensils and equipment need checking . Checking bedside tables from previous guests. 1 draw in particular was most disgusting with items that should have been discarded. Ideal for the whole family or friends

Very spacious and clean. Probably twice the width of a static caravan and can sleep six comfortably. Everything you need in a kitchen is supplied and the hot tub was fantastic.
