we got lucky with cabin 171 after our original destination was cancelled 2 days before we were due to go, so we went in with low expectations but was really pleasantly surprised , quite a spacious place ideally situated for having a 1 year old , the doors of the cabin where heavy so had to watch our daughter with the door

The views from the cabin are unreal and the added bonus of a private garden plus decking area for eating and chilling. The lodge has everything you need, all kitchen essentials really thought about. We loved the games and the welcome book with ideas for local walks. The beds are really comfy not even complaints from two teenagers in a bunk bed!Only negative if I had to push for one is the sofas are a bit worn and tired and not very comfy.A hot tub would top this as an extra great addition too! We had a lovely family Easter break and will be back.

The cabin really is stunning, especially the veranda with that lovely gate, perfect for our dogs safety. The views of the mountains are just breathtaking. That said, it wasnt super clean - crumbs on the table and dead moths on the blinds, which was a bit of a letdown. The wardrobe drawers also werent wiped from the last stay. Still, the peaceful, secluded setting made up for it!

We really enjoyed our stay overall. The living area was a good size and the kitchen had everything we needed. Its in a peaceful spot with lots of greenery around. The only downside was the bed in the main room - way too big for the space, making it hard to move around. The twin room was similar, with limited access to drawers. Could do with a bit of updating, but still a nice place.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was cosy and well-equipped, perfect for a couple of days or even longer. Its nice and peaceful, with easy access to nearby towns for shopping or grabbing a coffee. The on-site shop was super handy and the free run area for dogs is a big plus. Plus, there are some lovely walks around the area-weve already come back twice!
