I will start off with the positives. It was cheap and dog friendly. It had beautiful sunset views from the hot tub in the evening. It was also quiet. The staff member was friendly. The drive up to it has lots of pot holes. I know not to expect amazing when I have a dog but there was damage, stains throughout the lodge. It also had a weird smell to it. The cutlery and utensils are basic and half were dirty. They do not provide any towels. The hot tub had rust on it. All lodges you have to pay for electricity and heating which was not clear on the website. There is no WiFi and hardly any signal. The fishing didn't look bad. It was OK as a base station but I would not stay there again

My partner, dog and I have just spent 4 nights at Bron Eifion Lodges and had a cracking time!I read all the reviews after I'd booked and was worried that we'd be unable to stay in the accommodation we'd booked - so was pleasantly surprised! The staff were lovely and so easy to work with! The cabin with lovely and clean and tidy and contained all we needed - except maybe a drying rack (as the washing machine was so useful!).Watching sunsets and gazing at stars from the hot tub while listening to pheasants is now ticked off our bucket list!Watching the steam rise off the lakes and the sun wake up the glade was magical! There was plenty of room and great to have our own parking space right by the lodge. The coin metered electricity was about £10 max for the entire time we were there and definitely made you concious of how much you were using which was a great experience! Would happily return - so quiet and peaceful - surrounded by nature, perfect for dog walks and hot tubbing!Thank you for having us Bron Eifion Lodges

We recently spent four lovely nights at Bron Eifion Lodges with our dog and honestly, it was a great stay! After reading some reviews post-booking, we were a bit worried about whether our chosen accommodation would live up to expectations, but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were genuinely friendly and made everything so easy. The cabin was spotless, comfortable and had pretty much everything we needed - though a drying rack wouldve been handy since the washing machine was so useful! Watching the sunset and star-gazing from the hot tub, with the sound of pheasants in the background, was a real highlight. The lakeside views, especially with the steam rising in the morning, felt truly magical. Plus, having your own parking space right outside the lodge was a bonus. The electricity was metered and we only spent about £10 over the whole stay, which made us more mindful of our usage. Its so peaceful and surrounded by nature - perfect for dog walks and relaxing in the hot tub. Wed definitely come back!

We stayed at the lodge recently and found it pretty well stocked with all the appliances we needed. It could definitely use a good deep clean and the mattress in the master bedroom was quite thin, but we managed to get a decent sleep after giving it a quick tidy ourselves. The hot tub was a highlight-nice and warm when we arrived, even if the jets werent that powerful. Overall, for the price, it was a fair stay and we enjoyed the view of the trees.

Very disappointed! The whole lodge needs a make over! On entering there was a smell of damp! Kitchen doors hanging off and everything in the cupboards was dirty, had to be cleaned before use.. The cooker was rusty! Never used it! The place hadnt been clean for sometime.. bathroom sink and toilet had a brown stain on and the bin in the corner was so rusty you could barely see the crome! None of the windows had seen a cloth for some months! Front and back door was rotten! Just glad I took some cleaning products with me and made to bearable..

We stayed for a long weekend of golf and it was alright. The lodge felt a bit worn out and there was a dog smell, but honestly, it didnt ruin our trip at all.

We had a lovely time staying here. Carol really went the extra mile for us. The cabin was super cosy and our dog loved it too! The lake was so peaceful, though the road was a bit bumpy with potholes. Still, a great break overall. Thanks!

The cabin was pretty spotless and well-kept, which was great. We loved the spa and the quiet atmosphere, just a heads-up about the wet dog smell though-bring some Febreze! The lack of a dishwasher was a bit of a pain and the £1 electric meter adds up quickly, but overall, a decent self-catering spot for a getaway.

Really enjoyed staying here, the cabins are super close to the fishing spots! Enjoyed it a lot.

Date of stay: 31st May 2022
The place is pretty straightforward, but it has all you need. The curtains looked quite faded and the cookers dials are worn out from over-cleaning, so no numbers left. Still, everything functioned fine. Wed stay again for sure. Checked out next doors place which seemed a bit more modern with a lovely log burner-definitely considering that next time!

Honestly, its not fancy but it ticks all the boxes. The place is clean and in great shape, so you can relax and enjoy your stay. We cooked for two nights and everything we needed was there - no fuss. The nearby Cricceth for takeout is handy too. The hot-tub was the highlight, always spotless and working perfectly. Its simple, but we had a lovely time overall!

We loved the spaciousness of this lodge, perfect for a relaxing break. The three bedrooms suited us well. Sure, the creaky floors were a bit annoying, but that's just how wooden lodges are. Definitely recommend!

Date of stay: 17th April 2022
The lodge was spotless overall, just a few tiny mould patches on the shower sealant. The mattress took some getting used to, as it was quite springy at first.

Date of stay: 27th February 2022
Really loved how warm and inviting it was.
Alex, Ryde
Date of stay: 12th February 2022
The place was quite disappointing overall. Tied building, not very clean, with cobwebs up high and mould in some spots. The fridge was packed and the washing machine was broken. Only half the lightbulbs worked. Needs proper maintenance to really shine. Could be great eventually.
Oliver Green, Derbyshire
Date of stay: 23rd November 2021
We loved staying here! The place is super peaceful and our dogs felt totally at ease away from busy roads. Handy spot to explore, only a short drive to the beach. Really comfy lodge too.

Date of stay: 7th August 2020
Really enjoyed our stay, the pod was super comfy and spotlessly clean!
Harriet, Cheshire
Date of stay: 17th July 2020
The pod was perfect for a quick getaway, though the weather was a letdown, so we didnt get to sit outside and soak up the views like we hoped. Still, lovely stay!
