Where's Gimblet Rock?
Natalie, Accrington
Date of stay: 15th June 2018
1 door cupboard door broken on arrival, was repaired within a couple of hours. blind in 1 bedroom broken, not mended while we were there. 1 more cupboard door broke while we were there, nobody came to mend it. A glass was broken in the cupboard, not replaced while we were there. Only 1 shower head worked in the master bedroom.

These issues didn't affect our holiday at all and we had a great time, just little things that they need to sort.

Had a wonderful family Easter and would definitely recommend our lodge. This holiday is not for people that want a site with lots of entertainment, it is perfect though for a quiet family holiday.

A very spacious comfortable lodge. There were 4 adults in our party, might be a cramped if there were 6 adults. Plenty of crockery, glasses, utensils etc. Great having en suite shower as well as main bathroom. In a very quiet peaceful position overlooking the water.

Caters well for 6 but for only 2 of us, we could have had less room and a bit more space.

Excellent lodge
Anita, Kirkby In Ashfield
Date of stay: 1st May 2017
The lodge was beautifully furnished and well equipped with a washing machine and dish washer if you wished to use them, it was positioned on slightly higher ground than the lodges in front so we had an excellent view of the boats coming and going in the marina. There was also a large flat screen TV with built in DVD player. This was a 6 birth lodge with 1 double and 2 twin bedrooms so there was plenty of sleeping space, but I felt that any more than four in the lounge area would have been a squeeze and in fact one occupant would have been sitting on a dining chair if you all wanted to stay in and watch TV or a DVD, however for the 2 of us it was very comfortable indeed.

This attraction is really something special and has reached the finals of the "Best Family Day Out" category in the National Tourism Awards for Wales.  It's actually the only attraction in North Wales to be shortlisted for this prestigious award. Located in the Snowdonia region there are many rides and activities including Jungle Boat Adventure, Den Building, Green Dragon Roller Caoster, Treetop Towers and the BareFoot Trail.  Kids of all ages will love it here and we think it's excellent value as well.

Ride a 'RIB' boat on the Menai Strait or take a Bear Grylls adventure boat tour. Very highly reviewed on Trip Advisor. Tours for bridges and swells, puffin and seals, castle and islands and more.

Located in the North of Wales with a spectacular setting high above Colwyn Bay this is a lovely zoo which makes an excellent family day out.  Highlights include the Chimp Encounter, Penguin Parades, Bear Falls and the Children's Farm.  The setting is perfect for walking around and you can take in the superb scenery, roam the wooded pathways and relax on the grassy slopes.  There are many rare and endangered species to see and learn about including the Snow Leopards and the Red Pandas not to mention the Sumatran Tigers. You can also buy the experience of being a zoo keeper for a day, either for yourself or as a gift.
