I had a fantastic relaxing break in my lodge. It had everything I needed. Hot tub was amazing. I will definitely be back again at some point. Staff were very helpful

If you want a peaceful, relaxing holiday its definitely worth staying at Hedfen.
The fishing was a great addition to the holiday.
The accommodation is very comfortable, modern and well equipped.

Clean and comfortable inside. Could have had a little more attention to cleanliness during a pandemic.
Would rate value for money higher, but felt it was quite steep for July and would probably visit at a later time in the year again.

We had an excellent and different weekend break here. Very friendly and laid back atmosphere surrounds the lakes and it is set in the beautiful country side. The cleanliness of the lodges and lakes are top rate. Will be coming back here ASAP!

Stunning and relaxing..

We have been to stay at over 8 lodges in various locations and this one was rated number two by us out of them all.

Overall this is great stay if youre looking to chill and relax. The fact the WIFI was free and included was a great touch alongside access to television on a couple of nights when the rain came down.

The dog shower was neat and saved much mess and made the experience great we knew the dogs were welcomed as one of family.

Relaxing quiet country retreat with great lodges on the fishing lake. Really welcoming staff and owner. Will definitely be returning to Head Fen country retreat.

Fantastic relaxing holiday

We had a lovely few days here. The views were amazing and the hot tub was lovely too. Cathedral view lodge 4 was immaculate inside and well supplied with utensils and pots/pans if you wanted to cook. Fishing from the decking was great too. We will 100% be coming back and would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing break. Thank you Head Fen

We really enjoyed our stay at Head Fen. It was very relaxing, not experienced a lodge like that where it is SO relaxing. Only downside is the road into the property, it's impossible to find at night-time, we turned up at 6pm, it was dark and impossible to know where you were going without driving into a big ditch! So I would strongly suggest better lighting all around to help this.

Im normally ready to go home by day 5 of any holiday or break. We did a week here and we didnt want to leave - any of us. Brilliant accommodation, very modern and clean. Everything you need in hand and just made Christmas perfect.

Amazing cozy little pods. Everything we needed for our stay was there. The bed is so comfy, best sleep ever!

Wouldn't hesitate to book again.
