Where's Wickham Green Farm Lodges?
Emma, Truro
Date of stay: 22nd June 2018
The Lodge was fab. It even had the same dishwasher that I have at home, so life was very easy. The only slight thing I would change is the bathroom toilet is very close to the wall and the seat was wonky and also the mirror was right above the toilet and very high up. No good for little people like me. Could do with a big mirror on that wall. But overall it was Fab! Comfortable, clean, well equipped.

Amazing location, lovely and quiet, clean and well equipped lodge. Plenty of toys and games in the lodge for the kids to play with and a lot of outside toys and games available too. Owner was friendly and helpful with ideas for days out.

One of the best family holidays we have had and we have already looked at booking for next year.

Great location- comfortable lodge. Children loved feeding the hens every day, great value for money. One negative - the sign for the property needs to be advertised clearly as we spent a long time looking for it when we had actually driven past it several times.

We loved our lodge. It was really comfortable and had everything we needed. The outside furniture was a little worn hence the score of 8 but we weren't bothered by that. Inside the lodge was immaculate and very comfortable. The owner of the farm was very friendly. She was there if we needed her but left us to it when we didn't. Perfect!
Quiet location with lovely views across the fields. The lodge was comfortable & well equipped. The host, Ann, deserves a special mention for her kindness & helpfulness in checking we were OK & providing a lift to the garage when our car broke down. Despite this hiccup, we had a thoroughly lovely holiday & would happily return.
Woodland lodge is in a beautiful setting looking out onto open farm land and with a lovely play area for the children directly to the side. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the local village where there is a great little play park, pub, post office/community shop, beautiful church and duck pond as well as pretty thatched cottages. We found the location to be an excellent base for exploring the variety of activities the county has on offer: Stonehenge (30 mins); the local town Devizes (15 mins) with the amazing canal locks, fantastic park and several supermarkets, craft bakery and more places to eat; Oasis leisure centre in Swindon (50 mins) with flames and wave pool; National Trust - Lacock Abbey (40 mins) and Dyrham park (1hr); the Royal air fleet museum (1 hr) well worth a visit on a rainy day and the beautiful city of Bath (1 hr). We had 2 lovely pub meals nearby in the Raven Inn and the Crown and the rest of the time we are at the lodge, cooking in the well stocked kitchen. The lodge was very comfortable and a good size for a family of 4. The flame effect fire was a nice touch when the chilly nights drew in and gave a cosy feel to the lounge. We were worried about being cold because it was unseasonably chilly when we arrived so the owners kindly supplied us with extra blankets and a heater. We didn't really need them in the end as the lodge was cozy enough. The children were also given use of ride on toys, blocks and DVDs which was also very nice of the owners. We had a fabulous Easter break in Wiltshire and would highly recommend the county and this great value lodge.
Had a lovely time at this location. All very clean and loved the outdoor play area for the children.
We recently stayed at Wickham Farm Lodges. As a family of 4 with a 5 year old and a 7 month old baby, we couldn't have been happier. There was a lovely play area outside for the children and the lodges themselves were absolutely immaculate and incredibly well equipped with books, games, TV and DVD player for entertainment and all the kitchen equipment you could possibly need. The only thing you have to take is towels. Great location and great value for money. The lady who we meet on arrival was really helpful and was happy to give ideas of places to visit. Really couldn't recommend it enough and will definitely be returning.
Wonderful break, log cabins were lovely and clean and had everything you could need, lovely break
We had a lovely stay, perfect for our young family. The cosy, basic accommodation is set in a beautiful place. It is an excellent location for visiting Salisbury, Bath, Longleat and Cheddar Gorge and is only a short drive from the delightful town of Devizes. We will definitely be visiting again.
Peaceful location on family farm. Lovely play area for children. Owner friendly and helpful. Local park in Devizes worth a visit. Good location for visiting National Trust properties all within 40 minutes drive and further afield, Longleat.

This lodge is perfect if you want somewhere quiet to stay.
Loved it here, very quite, lovely area, great owners, shops a short drive away, will 100% stay again.
Super facilitates at the lodge, everything needed was available especially with two young children aged 2 & 4. Lots of games & books were in the lodge for them to play with and a beautiful communal wooden play area to play at. Staff were very helpful and there was a lovely relaxed atmosphere on the farm.
