Visitor Reviews of Brokerswood Holiday Park

Ruth, Gosport
Date of stay: 1st June 2022
Holiday home was generally good - good shower, bed was comfortable, one settee a bit well used but still comfy, big tv, heating worked well. It was quite dark because of the trees but did get some sun and the decking area got a bit of sun. Outside furniture was not clean - I swept it off but didn't clean the bird poo as only had the Jay cloth for kitchen. Couldn't really expect this to be kept clean because of all the bits falling off trees - nice having a really tall tree growing up through the decking. In spite of trees, it did feel a bit exposed to people walking by and the caravan opposite (but that was unoccupied so no problem).

The lodge is aesthetically pleasing. Beds aren't comfortable and sofas are ok. The kitchen was not well stocked

Lovely modern cabin, impressed with modern neutral decor, fireplace and wine fridge! Hot tub was amazing and lots of space on the decking and powerful shower! Only negatives were non blackout curtain- its a holiday home so not sure why anyone wants to wake up at sunrise (5am end of May!) so I'm really pleased I packed my Gro black out pop up blind for toddlers bedroom but had to use a blanket and duvet to hang over my window.my parents woke up very early.also being a holiday home with a hot top champagne flutes wouldn't have gone a miss either :) Prosecco was enjoyed but in wine glassesand I could clearly feel the springs in the mattress and requested a mattress topper which I received promptly and folded in half then made the bed. Just gutted I didn't ask the first night. The lady on the phone apologised straight away and very swiftly organised one to be dropped off. All staff were very pleasant and courteous - a real credit! So if they could just invest in mattress toppers and thicker curtains/black out curtains and a few ikea flutes to drink from I could not have faulted our 5 night stay!!! :)

We stayed in Maple 7. The sofa had some stains (white sofa - poor choice) but otherwise the lodge was perfectly clean. Tv has netflix. Hot tub well maintained. It had everything we needed. It was really spacious too. Pack extra towels and robes for the hot tub if you want them as they aren't provided. We loved this accommodation and would stay here again.

Date of stay: 29th May 2022
Really nice peaceful location. Hot tub areas could be screened off a bit better as all face the road so feel a bit on view. Lodge very comfy, double bed mattress a bit ropey but other that that lovely Accomodation. Would prefer a key to mobile phone entry as all a bit impersonal on arrival and easier to have an actual key.

Date of stay: 21st May 2022
A beautiful lodge, 4 good size bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Very spacious and modern and a great hot tub. The lodge was clean and welcoming. Only improvement would be more kitchen equipment ie baking trays, glass bowls etc which are needed for 8 people.
Peter, Hemel Hempstead
Date of stay: 18th May 2022
The Lodge was lovely and clean only bad thing was the mattress was very worn (springs were noisey sounded like you were rolling over on a plastic bottle)
Leslie, Waterlooville

I do not see us returning any time soon

Date of stay: 16th May 2022
The lodge itself was really nice but the hot tub had many jets that weren't working and the lid was basically in half and it looked quite scruffy. Majority of the week we spent fishing out leaves because the lid didn't fit properly. There was also next to no pans or cutlery so it was difficult to cook meals when your in the lodge. Other than this, it was really nice and clean. No interaction with any staff as it's all contact free.

Lovely break due to location. Staff very helpful and friendly. If more than two of you, I recommend you go for a larger caravan or lodge.

Date of stay: 11th May 2022
We originally booked the comfort plus pod with a hot tub. We got upgraded to one of the armadillo pods with a hot tub it had extra cool things like a mood light & a electronic panel to control everything it also had a double bunk bed and a wet room with a toilet. As nice as it was we would of preferred what we booked originally as it was not very easy to get up and down the ladder and the bathroom area wasn't fit for tall people. In our original booking it also had a sofa which we did miss out on as there was a little table with wooden chairs which were not comfortable. We had a lovely weekend and it was peaceful and relaxing we would return!
Sophie, Barnsely
Date of stay: 9th May 2022
The bed was the worst bed we have ever slept on. It was tiny and had so many springs sticking out. We did not sleep the whole week. The hot tub was nice but not all of the jets worked which you would expect as this is a holiday you book for the hot tub really. The fridge was extremely small and froze most of our food which was anywhere near the freezer compartment. The pod is designed for up to 4 people but definitely only big enough for 2 and there was only enough cutlery for 2 people to eat at one time so not sure how they can advertise for 4. We did enjoy our break there and the location was beautiful. The bathroom facilities we could not fault and the pod was nice apart from the bed was horrendous. However, we would not book again unless the beds had been replaced.
Emma, Shaftesbury
Date of stay: 8th May 2022
The lodges themselves were nice although there was a few stains on the carpets and marks on the furniture and walls. Hot tub was lovely and very well maintained. Checked daily.
Julie, Kings Lynn
Date of stay: 4th May 2022
Brilliant place for a peaceful break
Lucie, Swindon
Date of stay: 2nd May 2022
The accommodation was extremely clean and in a great location nestled amongst the trees. It could do with a few extras like plastic glasses for around the hot tub, a fish slice for frying and a bigger pot for the oven.
Emma, Leamington Spa
Date of stay: 2nd May 2022
Tip tip the key is electronic via an app on your phone so don't let your mobile run out of battery as you will be locked out.
VIKAS, Milton Keynes
Date of stay: 20th April 2022
There is nothing much to do at the park location but it is conveniently located to explore nearby cities like Bath. There was a big stain mark on the carpet of the main bedroom that puts us off. The stain was still wet throughout our stay. The balcony furniture was very old / rustic and definitely need replacing. Though the second bedroom was of good size, the twin beds were smaller than the usual single beds. Thanks
Karen, Sheerness
Date of stay: 17th April 2022
Beautiful lodge very clean . Lovely hot tub . Beds a bit uncomfortable .
Jessica, Chippenham
Date of stay: 23rd March 2022
Overall very nice. Just a couple of things to improve on and would have been perfect.
Kelly, Weston Super Mare
Date of stay: 2nd March 2022
Lodge was well laid out and we'll equipped.
Emma, KETTERING
Date of stay: 20th February 2022
Very spacious, beds comfortable, generally clean. Some areas needed touching up; sofas were stained in patches and one sofa could do with replacing, laminate on one of the kitchen cupboard doors had come off, two of the blind fixings in the bedrooms were pressed into the wall and not fixed, mould around two light fittings in the ensuite.
