Great value accommodation. Lovely views from the lodge and fantastic site - very quiet.

Everything was lovely, but the kitchen could be better equipped, minimal cutlery and crockery provided so it meant the dishwasher was used frequently.

We wanted a quiet, relaxing weekend break & that's exactly what we had.The accomadation had everything you could need for a self catering break. On our arrival there was a welcome pack for our dog with bowls for feeding, a bag of treats & a toy fir her which I thought was a lovely touch. The beds were very comfortable & made up for our arrival. Towels were also included. There were televisions in the lounge & bedrooms & WiFi was excellent. The whole accommodation including furniture was very comfortable. It was great to have a decking area fenced off to be able to let our dog roam freely. The only suggestion I would make is that a gate be installed which would keep dogs & children safe from wandering. (We layed down 2 patio chairs to stop our dog from escaping).Over all a great accomadation!

Lodge could have been slightly more comfortable - sofas so slippy they could be uncomfortable. Most of the dog lodges has a gate but ours did not, so we couldnt let our dog out unsupervised. He did manage to sneak out to visit a passing dog but luckily came right back when we called.

Plenty of room in our 4 bedroom lodge. 2 en-suite and 1 family bathroom. Beds clean and comfortable. Kitchen had dishwasher, washer dryer and fridge. Tea towel, small washing up liquid and sponge provided as well as some teabags, coffee, sugar, sachets of milk and salt and pepper. A few squeaky floorboards in kitchen and a loose kick board but nothing that stopped us enjoying our holiday. Would stay here again

Very comfortable and fairly large lounge dinner kitchen area, televisions in the lounge and both bedrooms, a main bathroom and an ensuite shower room off the main bedroom, beds were very comfortable, a reasonable quality combined washer/ dryer gives a good level of clothes washing, the dishwasher is big enough to take a whole days worth of pots, the wi-fi works well, we had a great time.

Weve recently returned early from a weeks break at Bath Mill Lodge. The condition of the lodge itself was poor and in need of renovation. The lodge we stayed in also had black mould in each of the bathroom, and was generally unclean (urine up the walls!/hair/dust/cobwebs).The location also meant that we were invaded by midges, and also had to deal with squirrels getting into the lodge.Overall, we would not recommend a stay here at all after also staying in many hoseasons lodges over the years!

The lodge was very clean and in good maintenance a few scuffs in the cream carpet on entering the lodge but clean.

Lodge was ok but needs more cutlery for the number of people it can accommodate. Showers had some black mould in corners. Good sized bedrooms. Well placed windows and well-sited in relation to other lodges.

Living room seating is uncomfortable, needs cushions to support your back. Otherwise a very nice lodge, with good facilities, comfortable bed, great bath and shower and beautiful surroundings. Only a short bus ride into bath is £2 return, so leave the car behind.

Date of stay: 9th June 2024
Lodge was very comfortable with all you needed for a short break, the showers in on-suite not having and rails or toiletry tray was the only snag as could cause a health and safety issue for less able guests

We were in lodge number 6 which was showing signs of age, wear and tear - grubby behind toilet areas, dusty and cobwebs around bed and cabinet, mould around edge of shower tray. In addition there was an infestation of moths - we killed between 20 - 30 each of the 3 evenings we were there, mostly in the hall area where we think they were coming up out of the carpet at night and then getting into all the bedrooms. Hopefully this will have been dealt with as we reported it after the second evening and again when we vacated.

Cleanliness of the lodge could have been better, for example there were hairs in the shower and on the carpet which did not belong to any of us. There were egg cups which had been used as ashtrays by the previous occupants left on the decking. The ceiling in the lounge/kitchen area were filthy. There were cobwebs around the light over the table in the lounge area. These were all seen without looking too hard. It was a shame, as the lodge would have been lovely otherwise.

Lovely lodge and was clean. Facilities were great

Date of stay: 30th May 2024
The lodge was dirty. The shower cubicle was filthy around the inside of the shower tray; one of the doors kept coming off the runners and the door would not shut properly; there was dirt on the skirting boards on the bathroom; the rubbish bin in the kitchen didn't open with the foot pedal so had to be lifted open by hand; the curtains were frayed in 2 places; the blinds were difficult to open and close. Cleaning and maintenance needed!!

Lodge was good, the carpets were a bit grubby in places and the en-suite bathroom was mouldy in quite a few places, also there were a lot of cobwebs around the ceilings and windows but everywhere else was really clean!!
