Very comfortable and fairly large lounge dinner kitchen area, televisions in the lounge and both bedrooms, a main bathroom and an ensuite shower room off the main bedroom, beds were very comfortable, a reasonable quality combined washer/ dryer gives a good level of clothes washing, the dishwasher is big enough to take a whole days worth of pots, the wi-fi works well, we had a great time.

Weve recently returned early from a weeks break at Bath Mill Lodge. The condition of the lodge itself was poor and in need of renovation. The lodge we stayed in also had black mould in each of the bathroom, and was generally unclean (urine up the walls!/hair/dust/cobwebs).The location also meant that we were invaded by midges, and also had to deal with squirrels getting into the lodge.Overall, we would not recommend a stay here at all after also staying in many hoseasons lodges over the years!

Lodge was ok but needs more cutlery for the number of people it can accommodate. Showers had some black mould in corners. Good sized bedrooms. Well placed windows and well-sited in relation to other lodges.

Living room seating is uncomfortable, needs cushions to support your back. Otherwise a very nice lodge, with good facilities, comfortable bed, great bath and shower and beautiful surroundings. Only a short bus ride into bath is £2 return, so leave the car behind.

Lodge was very comfortable with all you needed for a short break, the showers in on-suite not having and rails or toiletry tray was the only snag as could cause a health and safety issue for less able guests

We were in lodge number 6 which was showing signs of age, wear and tear - grubby behind toilet areas, dusty and cobwebs around bed and cabinet, mould around edge of shower tray. In addition there was an infestation of moths - we killed between 20 - 30 each of the 3 evenings we were there, mostly in the hall area where we think they were coming up out of the carpet at night and then getting into all the bedrooms. Hopefully this will have been dealt with as we reported it after the second evening and again when we vacated.

Cleanliness of the lodge could have been better, for example there were hairs in the shower and on the carpet which did not belong to any of us. There were egg cups which had been used as ashtrays by the previous occupants left on the decking. The ceiling in the lounge/kitchen area were filthy. There were cobwebs around the light over the table in the lounge area. These were all seen without looking too hard. It was a shame, as the lodge would have been lovely otherwise.

Lovely lodge and was clean. Facilities were great

Date of stay: 30th May 2024
The lodge was dirty. The shower cubicle was filthy around the inside of the shower tray; one of the doors kept coming off the runners and the door would not shut properly; there was dirt on the skirting boards on the bathroom; the rubbish bin in the kitchen didn't open with the foot pedal so had to be lifted open by hand; the curtains were frayed in 2 places; the blinds were difficult to open and close. Cleaning and maintenance needed!!

Lodge was good, the carpets were a bit grubby in places and the en-suite bathroom was mouldy in quite a few places, also there were a lot of cobwebs around the ceilings and windows but everywhere else was really clean!!

Lovely accommodation and very very clean which was fab and appreciated, except for spider webs at back of door to walk in wardrobe and lots of dust right by bottom of bathroom sinks which is probably difficult to get a vacuum there.Bar shut at 830pm on sat evening which could be helpful to be told that at check in.Lovely site and position though, would return and recommend.

There were a few bugs in the bathroom under the shower. The bed linen didnt fit the bed very well. The mattress protector kept coming off and I had to make the bed from scratch at least twice. Very few cooking pots and only 1 shelf in quite a large oven.

Would have been useful to have some smaller mugs or cups, as we only had enormous mugs.Outside table was small and we only had 6 chairs in an 8 person lodge.

Cleaning was not good, although didn't detract from an excellent stay, there were several issues...

We had no problems checking in and on the surface the property looked clean and tidy. However, after find the bedrooms infested with carpet and clothes moths, we reported this to the staff. We spent the next two nights killing said moths but finally left a day early because we felt dirty and couldn't get a comfortable night's sleep. Furthermore, the was mold in the bathrooms and the microwave had no writing on the front, so we had no clue what to push. Lots of dust and cobwebs as well. Considering this is the start of the season, what will it be like at the end! None of the lodges had been washed on the outside so looked old and shabby which is such a shame as it is in a beautiful setting
