We had such a lovely escape here! The place is genuinely one of a kind, perfect for a peaceful break. Alex was really friendly and made us feel right at home, even sending over a welcome pack before we arrived, which was a sweet touch. The layout of the burrows was clever, giving everyone their own space but still feeling cosy. The cottage and hot tub were spotless and had all we needed for a comfy stay. We loved chilling outside by the BBQ and fire pit, enjoying the garden in peace. Its in a quiet spot but close enough to shops and Cheddar Gorge for some exploring. Were already planning to come back soon!

We arrived earlier than expected, about 30 minutes before check-in, which was a nice surprise. The owner is really friendly and made us feel welcome right away. We stayed in the meadow cabin and the view of the horses was just lovely - really peaceful. The place had a good-sized garden for our dogs to run around, although its a bit tricky when its been rainy, as it turns into a bit of a slop pit. The hot tub was fantastic and ready to go when we got there, plus they provided dressing gowns, which was a nice touch. We also appreciated the tea, coffee and sugar (though we brought our own milk) and there were sweets and dog treats left for the kids and our pup, which was a lovely surprise. The WiFi was fast and reliable, which was great for streaming. Inside, two of the three bedrooms had TVs, which was handy. Theres a dog wash area and a washing machine on-site, though we didnt need them. The garden furniture was a bit limited-just four stools and five chairs-and its worth noting the garden slopes quite a bit. The beds are quite high, even for our tall teen, so thats something to keep in mind. The bathroom situation is a bit tight with only one loo and the signs indicating where it is are quite small, so you might drive past it! Also, be aware that the TVs dont have regular channels; you need to sign into apps like YouTube or BBC iPlayer and dont forget to sign out before leaving. Overall, its a nice spot with some quirks, but we enjoyed our stay!

We had such a wonderful time over New Year! The place was way more spacious than we expected and it had everything we needed for a comfy stay. Gotta say, the mattress was really supportive, which isnt always the case with holiday spots. The hot tub was a real highlight, especially with those stunning views. We loved the option to close it off for privacy, made it perfect for relaxing mornings. Sitting in the hot tub with a coffee, watching the sunrise on a chilly morning-absolutely magical! Plus, its a great spot if youve got dogs, with enclosed outdoor space and a handy shower to clean them off after muddy walks. Tanya and Alex, the hosts, were super friendly but also chilled out, just there if we needed them. The surprise New Years gift was a lovely touch too. Honestly, wed recommend it to anyone-five stars from us!

We honestly had a really nice stay. Alex and Tanya really covered all bases, from the comfy king-size bed to the outdoor spaces perfect for warm evenings. The laundry facilities with washing pods were a real bonus too. Would definitely come back!
