View Accommodations

This is the ultimate Cornish retreat, with beautifully stylish lodges that sit above the pretty harbour of Mullion Cove on the Lizard Peninsula. Make the most of the Cornish weather and the stunning beaches with diving and surfing lessons in Falmouth, take a gallop on the beach at Holston or try camel trekking on the Cornish Downs at Helston! There are some great restaurants nearby; if you love fish, try Kota in Porthleven - it specialises in organic local fish with an Asian twist.

The lodges here are lovely - really contemporary yet full of thoughtful homely touches such as games consoles and big bean bags. Mullion Premier sleeps up to four people and has a double bedroom with ensuite, an additional bath and French doors leading to decking with an outdoor hot tub.

The Princess Pavilion in Falmouth has year-round entertainment - live music, flamenco dancing and a Real Ale Festival every year.

Date of stay: 23rd May 2019
Absolutely amazing, we had such a relaxing time away, being provided with milk ect on arrival after a 5 hour journey would lovely. The information left about places to visit and where the shops were, provided us with a sense of direction which we needed. Our only fault with the cabin we were in was that it was right next to the "emergency fire" gate, which was not used in emergencies but actually for the children staying in the cabins near us to use as a "quick entrance", this was right by our hot tub, it made it feel less private. We really like that the hot tub was checked and we could ask the people checking the hot tub about temperature ect. Got offered some sweets and a bottle of water for the way home which came in handy

We have got everything we could wish to have in a house, it was very clean and private. Moreover, we received a very helpful and complete info pack of places not to miss out.
At the end of the day, we were just looking forward to come back to our lodge.
However, it has one single fault: it is so far from our home, but worths spending 7 hours in traffic! We are already planning our next holiday and definitely will be back. And this time, will have a bath tub, too. :)

The only thing that would have been useful was somewhere to hand coats as it was so wet while we were there. The cupboard where I believe coats should have gone had a washer dryer in so could not be used so we ended up having to put them over the chairs which was not ideal for the chairs or the carpet.

Excellent lodge, mostly extremely clean and comfortable. Lovely to have the en suite with the double bedroom. Nice living room area to spend time in the evening, and nice to have an open plan kitchen for cooking lunch or dinner. The hot tub was a great size and cleaned regularly throughout the day. It was easy to use the hot tub, and we enjoyed multiple dips throughout the day and evening! The hot tub was nice to warm up in after winter walks on the beach. Again, excellent staff that could not be more helpful and kind.

Enjoyed our weekend away in Mullion, the site is in a great position next to the coastal path, is peaceful and wonderfully relaxing. The only negative aspect was the games console failing to work, unfortunately this was also the case on our last holiday at these lodges. Cue a slightly disappointed 11 year old... We don't go on holiday for him to play these machines but it is an advertised feature. The site is very pet friendly, last year we had a welcome pack with dog treats, this year nothing. Although the welcome pack for the next visitors was outside our door when we were due to leave and we could clearly see the dog treats prepared for them. I mentioned this to your staff and the fact the Wii didn't work, I'm not sure how interested the girl in the office was though?
Jane, Bradford
Date of stay: 16th October 2017
Had a lovely long weekend, the lodge was very cosy, lovely comfortable bed, and an extremely well thought out welcome pack all made our stay extra special. The hot tub was great, just the thing to help us relax after a four hundred mile drive to get there!
The staff were really pleasant and so helpful.
We would definitely stay again.

We had a fantastic time at Mullion Cove Coastal Retreat for my son's first holiday. It was so relaxing returning to one of my favourite spots Mullion Cove. The lodges are lovely, spacious and cosy and we would love to return. I would just say they could do with a bit of a refresh with a few scuffs on the walls and stains on the carpet, but we visited in October at a discounted rate so it was value for money for us, but I may have been slightly disappointed if we had paid the full rate.

We absolutely loved our 4 day stay and wish it could have been longer , the lodge was absolutely lovely , really modern and cosy and had everything we needed , they even provided dog treats ! The staff were so friendly , we didn't need anything whilst we were there but I imagine nothing would have been too much trouble for them. The hot tub was perfect, and the enclosed balcony was perfect for our dog to wander around and be safe . The location is good , its in a nice village and really easy access to everything. We can't wait to return !

If it's peace and quiet you are looking for its a great location.

A lovely old harbour. It would be great if they had a little bistro just to chill and relax with a glass of wine as there is nothing there and about a mile to walk up to the village pub.

I felt the lodge could do with a lick of paint everywhere and the carpet replace. However one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in.

lovely lodge, very comfy, decorated & styled very well, my only down fall was some fixings, eg blinds was broken, plumbing a bit wobbly. carpets stained from other guests. However it did feel clean and the things above didn't effect our stay, but felt Mullion cove prides itself on the best, these small things could let them down.

We spent a week here to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We were stunned by the size, brightness and cleanliness of the accommodation, the high quality of the furnishings and equipment and the on-tap central heating. The little touches such as the welcome pack for us and our dog Josie and the bed being made up were very impressive. We had a wonderful relaxing holiday.

The lodge was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Wish I'd known bin liners, washing up liquid and dishwasher tabs were provided, so I didn't pack it all in the first instance! This is not a complaint, more a point about the fantastic attention to detail! Oh and the toiletries were top end.

The only slightly bad point was that the ensuite bathroom had a pretty awful smell that lingered, like there was an issue with the drains, so we used the other bathroom and kept the door shut.

The premier lodges are incredibly spacious and fantastically equipped. 7 of us had ample space to relax and enjoy our weekend and you could easily self cater with the fully fitted kitchen and range of utensils provided.

To have the outside dining table is also a real treat and it's clear lots of thought has gone into making the lodges true homes from home.

This is a place we were lucky to find. It was extremely worth every penny. We couldn't of asked for more. The staff, all we met, extremely polite and easy to approach. The lodge very clean and was much more than we thought we needed. The location perfect for us and the village a short walk up the road. The pub had a good menu.

Date of stay: 27th March 2017
So me and my partner of 21 stayed for a weekend 24th 27th March.

Before arriving I emailed the park to say that we were going to arrive late as we were coming straight from finishing work in Bristol, I also asked what the lodge was equipped with. They emailed me back within a day advising that the lateness was fine, they would leave my key in the lodge and will post a map at receipting explaining which lodge I was in. They also advised what things were in the lodge and what we had access to very friendly!

So, the drive up is beautiful, you feel as if youre in the middle of nowhere it is quite secluded which is why we chose to go there.

When we got to the lodge I was shocked with how amazing it was. It had everything you needed to live your whole life there!

We booked a Porthleven Premier which is suitable for 2 people. Upon arrival we received a welcome pack with all information needed as well as tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar, bread, butter, milk and even a little rubber duck for the hot tub! They provided a pack with lots of guides of things to do in the area for the time of year, it was a great touch!

The living area was of a very good size, there was a big corner sofa, a 42 plasma TV with plenty of channels, a working electric fire which was beautiful at night time, we were provided with a board game, a DVD player, an Ipod docking station and even a Wii console! (You were able to rent the games and dvds for £1 with a £5 deposit which would be returned). There was also a dining table and chairs for 2 which has place mats and coaster.

The kitchen was of a good size and contained more than you needed; oven, grill, hobs, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer it had all the cutlery and cooking equipment that you could want that was washed to a good standard.

The bedroom was an en-suite which had a good size bathroom with a very good size shower (my partner said its the best shower hes had in his life, it was a great shower!). The bedroom was of a good size with plenty of wardrobe space, we were provided with towels and dressing gowns to use for the hot tub. You were provided with a speaker system which you could connect your phone to via Bluetooth so we managed to listen to music in the hot tub.

Now to the hot tub! This is what made the break perfect, it was of a really good size, great temperature and I loved how you could change the colours to fit your mood. It was amazing being outside at 9pm in the hot tub just staring at the stars. It was so romantic and I couldnt fault it at all. Somebody comes round a few times per day to check that its doing what it should be.

We were also provided with; a hairdryer, ironing board, clothes horse, a fan and plenty more storage. We had no phone signal during the stay which I found amazing! Wifi was included and worked very well!

The lady on reception during the weekend was very nice and friendly, welcoming and checked up to see how we were getting on and to make sure everything was fine (Im sorry but I didnt catch her name).

We had the most perfect weekend and it was amazing to get away from reality for a little while. We didnt do much accept take a trip to the chocolate shop and the harbour and a close beach but thats what made it perfect just being in what felt like was the middle of nowhere was all that we wanted, your lodge has everything you need so that you dont need to leave at all.

We never had any trouble or loud noise from the neighbours; never really saw anybody until check out time on the last day. The only thing is watch out because people always take your designated parking space meaning you have to take somebody elses!

There is a Tesco and Sainsburys around a 15-20 minute drive away.

The break was perfect; the only thing I could suggest improvement on is the small sloping road that you have to go down to get to the gates of the retreat. Im not even sure if this is down to the retreat to short however it is a struggle to get in and out of. My partner does have a lowered car however and he did manage to get in and out after taking a little time so if he can get out Im sure everybody else can too!

Accomodation very comfortable. Just hope that they keep on top with updating things when required. These lodges were described as 'Luxury Lodges' when we first visited three years ago and they were but wear & tear needs to be updated when items get worn out especially when the price increases by £100 from the previous year.

Nice lodge although there were a couple of niggles, a frayed carpet edge which could have been a problem if foot caught in it. Also windows very dirty which was a shame as the overall effect of the lodge was very pleasing. Very nice hot tub. Liked the surround so not overlooked. Only downside was nothing to hold on to, to get in which is essential when getting older. Its quite a steep step down in to and out of it.

The quality of the bedding down to the knives and forks was excellent. There had been a lot of thought and consideration in the planning of these lodges. The hot tub was fabulous. We were all fully refreshed at the end of our stay.

Just would like to bring to your attention - that while we were there my husband got out of bed in the middle of the night to use the toilet in the en-suite and on returning to bed caught his leg on the square wooden end of the bedstead, not realising that he had actually cut it, he got back into bed. The next morning when I made the bed there was blood on the duvet cover, which when I went to reception, they arranged to have it changed, the reason I am letting you know - if that had been a child, it could have been quite nasty as the corner is quite sharp.

The lodge was clean, modern and luxurious, it offered more than you would expect. The bed was comfy, the kitchen well equipped with a washing machine and dish washer. The milk, bread, tea, coffee and biscuits were a lovely added extra and there was even a rechargeable torch for use when using the hot tub after dark.

Date of stay: 7th March 2016
This has to be one of the best places we have stayed at. I booked the stay as a surprise weekend away for myself and my partner. The locations is perfect as its only a short drive to many places like the Seal sanctuary and some amazing view points. On arrival we were an hour early and this wasn't an issue as they showed us straight to our cabin and the bread and milk was a lovely touch. The trip was extra special as we got engaged at Kynance Cove and Mullion Cove Coastal Retreat made it that little bit more special. We plan to return every year and will definitely be staying here.

Lovely stay for new year! Lodge had everything we needed and was very nicely decorated feeling homely. Location was good, not to far of a drive to Helston, and the local village being a 15 minute walk from the lodges. Only issue thing as the temperature of the hot tub, did not stay hot for long once you put the jets on, but the maintenance man who came every day was very helpful. Would definitely go back!

Harbour Elegence is a lovely 2 bedroom lodge, everything you could need is provided, iron, ironing board, picnic hamper, torch, umbrella, coffee percolator, dishwasher, robes and slippers.... I could go on and on, some of the lodges are close together with the hot tubs facing the main path, the one we stayed in was not. If this is a problem you can call the site and ask where you will be situated and they will try to accomadate you if they can. Overall this is a lovely place to relax.

Date of stay: 10th October 2015
The lodge was really comfortable. There were no bath robes for us to use over the weekend but we managed with the extra towels which had been put out. Some dirty towels were found screwed up and hidden in a cupboard and these were reported and collected promptly on Monday morning. The kitchen was clean and well equipped and except for the very small work surface it was very nice. The hot tub was exactly as advertised and made our stay very relaxing. As a non-smoking couple we were dismayed to see a full ashtray left on the patio table.

Great building with really good finishing, I would struggle to think of anything negative to say (other than watch the corners of the beds, the bruises on my legs were really sore!). Hot tub was really easy to use and set up, lovely at the end of a long day.
Brian, Shetland
Date of stay: 11th September 2015

Stuart, Wirksworth
Date of stay: 5th September 2015
Awesome! We all loved this holiday. The lodges are down a narrow road with no lighting and no path, so you're a bit stranded at night (worried about small children walking into Mullion). Apart from that the lodges were very nice indeed, clean (could do with hoovering under the beds), plenty of towels, warm and with all the mod cons you'd need.
Yvonne, Somerset

Had a fantastic time so much so extended our 4 day stay to a week. Very accommodating and staff always helpful and friendly. Hot tub added that extra touch on evenings and left you feeling so chilled and relaxed... Katy, Amersham
Date of stay: 15th August 2015
Perfect lodge for families, well equipped - loved the hot tub. Cleanliness needs addressing - we had sweet wrappers and popped balloons under sofa and dirty socks in the wardrobe. Bathrooms were a bit grubby too. But we easily sorted this out with a quick tidy up ourselves.
Kitchen was fab and great to have a dishwasher and washing machine.
Lots of hangers in wardrobes, could have done with a few kids hangers so I would pack some if you are travelling with small kids.
Overall lovely lodges, would definately recommend if cleaning is improved.

Karen, Camberley
Date of stay: 1st August 2015
Lovely accommodation the only thing I would say is that the fridge could be colder and I think that is due to it being enclosed in the units that it doesn't keep things as cold as the seal on the door isn't as tight.
Karin, Bridgend

Date of stay: 25th July 2015
Our second stay at Mullion Cove Lodge Retreat. Peaceful location and lovely accommodation to come back to at the end of a day out. Mullion Village has a great bakery for take-out rolls/sandwiches ('Goodfillers') and also a nice pub with good food ('The Old Inn'). A great base for the surrounding area; we recommend Kynance Cove, Poldhu Cove and Kennack Sands - all nearby for a day at the beach, also Pendennis Castle and Glendurgan Gardens for days out. A trip on the ferry boat from Falmouth to St Mawes is nice too. We also enjoyed an hour's 'ride-out' with nearby Newton Equestrian Centre along the headland over Poldhu.

Lodge is well equipped . Ours was dog friendly with a gate to decking to keep her secure.
Light and bright very well maintained ours didnt have a hot tub but many do .
Board games and consoles for rainy days . Dishwasher, washer/ dryer iron and board .
Do be careful when approaching the park as it shares it's driveway with a farm and there are some large pot holes.

Best lodge we have stayed in yet. A real home from home. Fluffy robes and slipped as well as fat pillows and duvets give a five star hotel feel. The kitchen facilities are excellent with dishwasher and washer/dryer as well as coffee maker and ice bucket making it a pleasure to stay.

Date of stay: 11th April 2015
The lodge was lovely and one could not wish for anything more. The only issue that we had was the parking spaces provided. These were mostly shared (although a few lodges did have their own private space),with parking bays for numerous vehicles.
If each cabin had its own parking bay beside it, we feel that they would then be perfect.
Yogi, Hampshire
Date of stay: 10th April 2015

We got this almost half price as a last minute booking, probably a bit expensive otherwise. The door hinge on the decking patio was loose making it difficult to open the door. Otherwise excellent. I'm sure door will be fixed now we told the staff as very helpful, especially girl on reception

Date of stay: 20th March 2015
One or two cobwebs about and one or two kitchen cupboard door knobs come off in your hand. There is a lack of mirrors, only one in the bedroom with the ensuite and one in the main bathroom. At least 1 extra mirror would be beneficial perhaps in the hallway, escpecially as these lodges can sleep up to 8 people. This doesn't detract by any way from the facilities of the lodge which were superb, jacuzzi time was excellent!!
Ian, Fairford
Date of stay: 16th March 2015
Lodge has everything you could ask for. Simply perfect.
Joshua, Newport
Date of stay: 16th March 2015
Lodge was fully equipped with everything you could ask for. Cleanliness lacked in bathrooms. Hot tub was far too hot to enjoy, unable to adjust temperature settings as these are disabled, which made the water too hot to enjoy!

Date of stay: 23rd February 2015
We were placed in a lodge in which the patio doors out to the hot tub could not be opened, the oven did not work, the TV remote did not work, several light bulbs did not work and there were some minor cleaning deficiencies. After complaining we were moved to another fully functioning lodge but the fact remains that the first lodge should not even have been considered for occupation until it had been properly inspected and all necessary repairs made.
Matt, Swindon

Date of stay: 20th February 2015
Could not fault the accomadtion.
Wendy, Churt
Date of stay: 20th February 2015
The lodge was well furnished and equipped. The sofas had low backs which did not allow head rest. The radiator in the small bedroom was touching the bed which on very cold nights meant that one had to be either too cold or too hot. The freezer had one tiny ice tray and we like ice in drinks. These comments are suggestions for the future rather than full blown complaints.
Simon, Bristol
Date of stay: 20th February 2015
Beautiful Lodge , there were a few teething issues, but these were quickly sorted by the staff and did not distract or reduce the experience of our holiday.

Overall fantastic lodge, clean. Only slight disappointed was our lodge was only 2/3 from around 20 lodges without a hot tub. There wasn't any available when we tried to book so will book earlier next time but was a shame to see all other lodges using theirs and we didn't have one.
Patricia, Birmingham

Date of stay: 31st October 2014
Lodge was really lovely, the lounge was large and very nicely decorated. Slightly miffed after a couple of days to find unwashed coffee pot full of stewed coffee and grounds, yuck! Comfort score would have been higher if had more space to walk around the bed. Lack of storage drawer space in bedroom, shelf space in bathroom and only one bedside cabinet were disappointing, though understandable when space so limited. I'm sure there's room for improving though.
Clare, Selby

Michelle, Newbury
Date of stay: 31st October 2014
Really clean, well appointed, cosy and warm. Could do with more crockery etc. in a lodge for 4 we had 4 dinner plates. Enough for one meal, but as there is a dishwasher, would make sense to have enough to fill the machine over a few meals. Not just because I am lazy, but because it makes it more water and energy efficient.
Simon, Taunton
Date of stay: 31st October 2014

We were very impressed with the lodge, really was home-from-home. Had everything you need plus extra luxury touches. We will certainly be coming back.

Date of stay: 4th October 2014
Everything was beautifully clean and tidy, the beds were lovely and comfortable. The only thing that let the chalet down, from a woman's perspective, was the lack of mirror space, in some of the bedrooms, to do hair and makeup; also the lack of hooks on the back of bedroom and bathroom doors to hang towels, dressing gowns etc. all minor I know but add that extra attention to detail. The hot tub was maintained on a daily basis and the luxury of having the hot tub really enhanced the holiday experience.

Date of stay: 3rd October 2014
great accommodation has got the wow factor. have stayed in lots of lodges, and so far this one knocks the spots of all of them. love that the hot tubs are . makes it feel private as the lodges are close to each other. fitures and fittings are all of a great standard bed very clean and comfy, loved the walk in wardrobe and on suite in master. all the furniture was very tasteful and of a good standard. I only have a few small niggles and they r small. would have liked a breadbin a pair of tonges to turn my bacon as fork was not so good and a handle to pull the grill tray in and out. thats it. everything else was perfect and i will be back. dont be put of by lodges near each other u can still feel secluded re so large and roomy inside.

A beautifully clean, bright lodge. Sitting in the hot tub under the stars is an experience not to be missed. Great for those who like walking as the Cove and South West Coast Path is 5 minutes away! Beds are very comfy too and a great night's sleep was had every night!

The ensuite shower screen around the edge at the bottom was black and had not been cleaned thorougly for weeks, the plug hole cover was disgusting as it had never been cleaned and therefore completly blocked with hair and soap scum.
The kitchen lacked a few basic tools such as , tongues, no tea strainer even though there was complimentary loose tea . The measuring jug had no markings on the side . Could not find any instructions for the washing machine. A number of the windows had cobwebs at high level. 3 light bulbs needed replacing. No way of opening the velux windows in the bathrooms unless you stood on the loo seat, which will damage it!
Inbetween the two bedrooms in the hallway we found a lot of broken glass which looked to be from a light bulb , which indicates it wasnt thoroughly hoovered before we arrived. When we got the hoover out to clean up it was completly full and required emptying!
For the price you pay you would expect these basic details to be covered off, we are not ones to moan or complain , however , for the "luxury" factor these details do matter.

Overall a very comfortable lodge but could be even better with a few small additions (an ironing board was provided but no iron, no kitchen scissors and needed a lot more cutlery for a large group - only one of everything; for instance need more than one teaspoon per person for hot drinks and perhaps a yogurt etc. A few dishwasher tablets would be good as a start). Wii and DVD player provided but had to hire games and DVD's at extra cost. Given the cost of the holiday this was a little disappointing.

A beautiful spacious lodge with everything you could need for a lovely holiday. Take wii console games with you as there is a wii in the lodge but games have to be hired from reception.

A lot of consideration had gone into what is needed for a home from home stay, with good quality accessories etc. Comfortable and spotlessly clean.

Mullion Cove is a secluded location in a beautiful part of Cornwall. The lodge we stayed in was immaculate, the staff on site were exceptionally helpful, we would most certainly stay at this site again.

Although this is only the second season, there were a few things that we noticed such as, carpets had a few marks and stains on, the skirtings were dusty and wall had knocks and marks here and there and the fridge was not as clean as we expected, although it smelt of bleach there were crumbs etc on the shelves. Also, could have done with a few extra towels, not really an issue as if you ask you get them. Nit picking? not really, as we paid top price in August the standards inside should be at the highest. Having said that, the lodge was roomy, light and well furnished though. It would be a shame if, after more useage the lodges deteriorated.

Location was beautiful and the accommodation really nice except for not having the cot/highchair we asked for until the day after we arrived, the carpet being covered in per hair and having no hot water on several occasions throughout the week. Apart from that we had a really nice time and would consider going back again (but will take our own cot next time).

Date of stay: 9th June 2014
The lodge was lovely and ours was a premier so had a hot tub, which was the perfect size for the 2 of us to spread out and relax. There was also a wii that hadn't been stated in the details, however luckily we read the reviews so took some wii games with us just in case (none are provided so we're glad we did!) We loved the big shower, big enough for 2! It was a lovely, relaxing holiday. Would thoroughly recommend.

Accommodation was spotless and large with a great private terrace. However, it has to be said that for a complex with nothing other than lodges (which I see as being a good thing), the price maybe a little high.

A couple of minor details would be that the DVD connection to the TV was poor so sound was distorted and volume level was restricted. Several lights around the property were not functioning.

It was perfect for our first holiday away with our 6 month old. She loved the hot tub :-) It was a shame the pamper pack was not in our lodge on arrival. It would have been nice to enjoy the prosecco and chocolates on the first night.

Jo
A beautiful setting in a pretty and quiet location. The lodge was very spacious and light and had something for every age group in our party.
Relaxing break in a quiet area.
Leah
This was a real treat, it had the wow factor as soon as we walked in. It was spotlessly clean, and the extras provided after a long trip was really appreciated. The setting is very near million cove, and some lovely beaches within a few miles. The hot tub was well maintained and the reception lady friendly and helpful. I would recommend this a hundred times over.
Clare
Lovely place, would definitely go back
