Lodge was comfortable. Toilet facilities were a bit cramped. Well equipped, mostly as expected

We recently stayed at this lodge and, while the location itself is beautiful and well-situated, the accommodation was quite disappointing. The lodge is very dated and shabby, definitely in need of some modernisation. The TVs in the bedrooms only picked up one channel, which felt poor for todays standards.Although advertised as a lodge for 8 people, there was only one parking space available. We were told we could use a car park about a 5-minute walk away, but this was often full as its popular with people visiting the cove which made things inconvenient at times. On the positive side, the setting is lovely and peaceful, and there are a few shops just a 5-minute drive away. It worked well as a base for exploring the surrounding area, with plenty of great places to visit nearby.Overall, Id say this lodge is fine if youre mainly looking for a base and dont mind dated accommodation, but if youre after comfort or modern amenities, it might fall short of expectations.

The accommodation in the most part was excellent with all the amenities you need for a holiday. The bedrooms (especially the twin) could have been a bit more spacious, but it was generally fine for a week's holiday!

The lodge could do with more shelving in the bathrooms - had nowhere to put toiletries. Utensils were limited, luckily we had friends next door so what we didnt have they did so we swapped and shared. They could do with having a proper inventory of all utensils/pots/pans as they werent consistent in both lodges. The bed - we felt like it could break at any moment - it was so noisy and creaky and we woke each other up every time we turned over. Only 1 bedside table in the double room was a nightmare, why not put shelves on the wall of each side so each person gets to use a bedside area.

We stayed in Lodge 1. Ample space and clean interior. Had everything we we needed. Was lovely to arrive to beds made up and towels provided. TV in each room, not sure why as the signal is very poor. In an evening it can be nice to chill in the lodge after exploring Cornwall all day and watch some tele, but very limited channels available, sometimes only 2 max! Smart TVs needed, plus comfier settees.Car parking space for Lodge 1 can be tight to negotiate, you do need to reverse in. We also wished the outside area was as clean as the inside. Cobwebs, bird poo, rust. We understand you can't stop these from happening, but would be nice for the exterior to be clean on arrival and not look like it hasn't been cleaned all season! I wouldn't want to eat at the outside table, feel this needs to be wipeable. The hot tub was lovely.

Pleasant resort. Limited parking on resort can be a little problematic, but there is ample parking 5 mins walk away.

A quiet, but friendly place to stay. A well laid out, small park, attractively landscaped, and only a 10 minute stroll from Mullion Harbour, which is a good place to start coastal walks in either direction. The village of Mullion, about a mile away, has eating facilities and a small supermarket and there is a large Sainsburys in Helston. I saw a Sainsburys delivery van on the site, so that would be a convenient option too. On this visit the weather was changeable due to a persistent sea fret that periodically drifted inland, but I was able to quickly pop out to one of the many stunning locations within a 5 to 10 minute drive when it lifted. A relaxing weekend which I am keen to repeat.

Lovely lodge very well kept .only downfall was the curtains was very thin we would recommend blinds instead as all other lodges appear to have blinds instead of curtains.Kitchen area very spacious has everything you need. Recommend that you bring own knives if planning to cook as ones in lodge was very blunt and difficult to peel and cut with. Dishwasher and washing machine included and lodges have central heating and electric fire if needed

We have been looking to stay in Mullion for a number of years and clocked the location of this park when we made a trip to the cove last time we were in Cornwall and made a note of needing to stay here. We booked in advance and paid a premium for a half term stay. We had a premium lodge with a hot tub. Location is amazing and the surroundings are beautiful. Mullion is a very quiet and pleasant place to stay. The holiday was let down by the accommodation though and I know we paid more for half term but for the money you should expect the lodge to be clean. The en-suite smelt terrible, we aired and cleaned ourself but there was a constant odour so we avoided the room and kept the door closed. The floors were filthy and if you had nothing on your feet they would soon be black or your socks would be. Closer inspection saw large build ups of dust and dirt around the edges and corners and especially behind the blinds. The microwave was dirty and stank of curry so we avoided that and the sink was brown and stained. We did report and were offered a clean but this didnt need a service clean it needed a proper clean of which we did it ourselves. Once cleaned the stay was a lot more pleasant. The hot tub was well maintained with daily checks and was very clean although both of my daughters cut their foot on a bit of plastic sticking out of one of the underwear vents which was obviously not an ideal situation. I would love to recommend this place but it needs a good update and definitely needs a proper clean.

Cleanliness of lodge was poor, cobwebs and dust with bedroom carpets stained and smelt of dog.main Lounge & kitchen floor still had food and sand on..Windows grubby Furniture worn & tired Oven old and settings all worn off Cushions on outdoor furniture had green mould on each one and 3 were missing from 8 chairs.Cleaning equipment was old and hoover had not been emptied for months that the filter had disintegrated.Darwin escapes need to improve the cleanliness of the lodges in Mullion Cove and replace worn & tired furniture if they are to market themselves as a luxury escape as they are very substandard.

An absolutely lovely lodge with everything we needed! There was a dishwasher as well as the washing machine, iron and board, picnic basket and plenty of wardrobe space! The hot tub was secluded and well maintained. We were lucky with the weather and were able to have breakfast on the decking a few mornings. Definitely a place I hope to go back to!

Lodges are beautiful however, some could do with a little TLC. Grounds are kept lovely and clean with some lovely shrubs etc.Only gripe, would be nice if the "dog friendly" lodges had gates on them to prevent dogs escaping from the decking

Not spotlessly clean, but still clean enough. The curtains could do with being heavier or have some black out blinds behind to stop the morning sun shining in

Apart from reception there's nothing on site like a small shop or being able to buy necessities from reception.... like milk, bread, tea or coffee ... also they confidently have a barbecue attached to railing where you could use a disposable barbecue.... would be a good idea if these could be purchased from reception too ..... just include details on information sheet. I will say that the information sheet was informative for details of where things were available shops pubs etc.Our lodge did not have a smart TV but the WIFI and Mobil network was shockingly bad .... but the sire was down a hill and we had a couple of bad stories which I am sure affected them both.On the whole lodge was comfortable but was showing its age from others we had used. Lodge had been cleaned and beds made up but the decking needed to be swept and bird droppings removed from hot tub cover.Hot tub had jets missing and no head pillows or rests.Never understand why there is no runner from patio doors to bedrooms to stop slips and trips

We had a 4 night stay at Mullian Cove and were so happy with the accommodation and how clean and tidy everything was. Everything we needed was stocked in the caravan including plates, cutlery, towels etc. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was so nice and powerful. The hot tub was hot on arrival and ready for us to use! Everything was perfect and we would highly recommend for a peaceful, comfortable and reasonably priced stay.
