We stayed at this lovely cottage recently and honestly, it had everything we needed. The owners, Sharon and Rob, thought of every little detail, including a really helpful welcome pack with info and menus. We didnt have to bring much at all, the place was so well equipped! The enclosed garden was a big plus for our dogs and the hot tub was just perfect after a long day. We really appreciated the little extras for us and the pups. A great place for a relaxing break, highly recommend!

We loved this place! Its super cosy and warm, perfect for a rainy December day. The bath was just fantastic and the shower was spacious too. The house is in a quiet spot, so the noise from planes didnt bother us at all-dont let that put you off. Perfect for dogs that dislike fireworks, being in the middle of nowhere. Thanks a lot, well be back!

We had a great stay at this lovely spot tucked away in a peaceful, private area. The hosts were super friendly and always ready to help if we needed anything, but it still kept that cosy, secluded feel. The hot tub was a real treat after a long cycle day! One thing to note, the cottage is quite close to Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It took us a couple of hours to get used to it, but honestly, it didnt ruin our trip at all. Would definitely come back!

We booked this place for a much-needed dog walking break and it was spot on. Lovely quality accommodation, plenty of fields and off-road walks nearby and the pubs and restaurants just a short stroll away. The dog loved it so much, it didnt want to leave the car to come home!

We had a lovely stay at Goddard's Mead! Rob and Sharon really put a lot of effort into converting this historic building with such care. They made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived and Bonnie was adorable too. The location is perfect for exploring Essex, especially if you enjoy wandering around quaint villages like Thaxted. Its a peaceful spot and wed definitely recommend it for a relaxing getaway. Definitely worth visiting!

The cottage was really charming and perfect for some peace and quiet. Just a heads up about the night flights from Stanstead, but the hot tub is a real treat!

We had an awesome weekend at this place! The garden was perfect for the pups and they couldnt get enough of the underfloor heating - Luna even came home with a strained tail, all that wagging! Honestly, everyone left happy, pups and humans alike. Were definitely planning to come back soon, it was just what we needed!

We loved this cosy little cottage-perfect for some peaceful downtime. Its tucked away enough to feel secluded, but still close to shops and cafes. The hot tub was a highlight and the underfloor heating in the bathroom was a real treat. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie are wonderful hosts. Cant wait to return for a longer stay!

We had a really lovely stay at this cottage. Its set on a working farm but feels surprisingly private, which was great. Robert and Sharon are such friendly hosts, making us feel very welcome. The place itself is huge, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that we didnt want to leave. The gardens perfect for dogs, really secluded and nicely furnished. We also enjoyed exploring the walks nearby and tried some good spots in Thaxted - The Star and The Maypole are worth a visit. Definitely recommend it!
