Lovely spacious cabin, everything you need is there, the only thing we could have done with was a couple of pint glasses. Loved that there was a dishwasher and washing machine. Parking space right outside cabin made life easy when unloading and loading car.

Absolutely fantastic. I would recommend this to anyone who wants peace and quiet ,the lodge was very clean hot tub was amazing , Mullion Cove just a short walk from the lodge ,weather was on our side so made our holiday even better even the cat ???? came to visit very friendly. The lodge was so lovely. Very spacious, light and airy. Only slight gripe was that the bathroom sinks looked stunning but werent very practical for a wash. There was also no dressing table or mirrors suitable for doing hair and make up. In the master bedroom there was 2 huge wardrobes, when really only 1 is required and plenty of space for a dressing table with plug sockets. The surrounding area was lovely and the planting was beautiful. Unfortunately the car parking was quite poor. Plants have over grown and drooped over the space making it quite narrow. We had 2 cars and only 1 space provided but thankfully the reception team helped to find us a free lodge to park in that space. Not sure what we would have done if all lodges had been booked.I always love our holidays with Darwin Escapes. A very high standard of accommodation.

When booking this holiday we filtered the holiday search down to private hot tub. The lodge we booked came up under this filter so booked. When we arrived we were not given a lodge with a hot tub. When we asked about it we were told only premium lodges have hot tubs. This was not made clear when booking. If there is a filter system on the booking site and it shows hot tubs under those filters and that's what you book you should receive what you have searched and paid for. Was a very expensive break for just a lodge, we thought we were paying extra for the hot tub.

We ended up at mullion cove after our originally arranged accommodation elsewhere was not fit for occupation. So after a frantic search on the bank holiday Monday morning of whit week with two kids and a dog to accommodate, I managed to book the last cabin here. The surrounding scenery is beautiful. Cabin was a bit smaller than I would usually go for but it was spotlessly clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. The lady who checked us in was lovely and allowed us to check in as soon as the cabin was ready so that we could get resettled into our holiday. One little issue with the TV that was solved straight away by a very helpful maintenance person. The site itself is small, cabins are close together but trees and foliage have been carefully planted to provide privacy. Very quiet and peaceful with some great coastal walks from the door. Supermarket a short drive away, lizard point 20 mins drive and both Falmouth and Penzance 40 mins away. There are no facilities on site as there are at some of the other Darwin escapes places but this didnt matter to us. There is a hotel nearby that allows visitors to use the bar and book into the spa and there is a pub, coop and a chip shop a short walk away in the village. There is also a lovely cafe, chocolate shop and other little shops a 5 min walk away. The harbour is a 5-10 min walk. Lovely holiday and would definitely return.

Constantine was the perfect size to fit 4 adults. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, cutlery etc although wed remember to bring a couple of dishwasher tablets with us next time. The hot tub was lovely. When we left, we did mention to reception that the patio door was very difficult to open and close and had a broken hinge so this should hopefully be fixed. The lodge is quite near the entrance but still felt private. You get nice views in the distance of the rabbits hopping around in the fields. Wi-Fi strength is very good.

Absolutely loved the location, the size of the lodges. Well facilitated, clean bed linen, showers/toilet and hot tub were clean. The only thing that we really did notice is the lodge wasn't the cleanist.Oven was dirty, trays were dirty, dishwasher was blocked (I had to unblock noodles from filter on day one), general cleanliness of floor, had to wash utensils. The gap between the oven and the unit at bottom had old food in it.General maintenance - quite bad rust on window/door hinges. Little run down. Dishwasher - loading basket was rusty, wheels were broken, made it difficult pull in and out, stagnant smell from dishwasher.We really enjoyed our stay, lodge was very nice, we do plan to return.However we felt the need to comment to help for improvements, it would be a shame for people not to return due to cleanliness etc RegardsGareth

Unexpectedly good getaway location. 5 min walk from the beautiful mullion cove. Cozy and cute lodges with everything we needed. Hot tub was really good and well maintained. Always at the right temperature for a soak after a day of exploring Cornwall. Definitely recommended and would visit again.Only one suggestion - Consider providing dish washing liquid or tablets and scrub as we had to buy them to clean this dishes for the duration of our stay.
