We really enjoyed our stay! The location was spot on - super central and perfect for exploring. We visit Cornwall every year and stay at different spots, but this place definitely stood out. We loved it so much, we're already booked to return next year. Can't wait!

We had such a great weekend at this place! The location was perfect for what we needed and the house was comfy and welcoming. Our dogs really enjoyed the garden, especially the underfloor heating - it kept them cosy. Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it, but honestly, everyone left happy and relaxed. Well definitely be coming back!

Lodge has all the modern conveniences you would ever need and was very clean inside which was much appreciated. Improvements necessary:- Toilet seats are worn out and the lids won't close, ensuite bed is worn out and needs replacing and the outside sofa was very dirty, covered in dog hairs and bird droppings, would be nice if it was cleaned. Please make the necessary improvements and we'll visit again. Thanks.

We spent a week here in July with our two tiny dachshunds and it was lovely. The village of Thaxted is charming and our dogs had a great time making friends with other pups around. The cottage itself is really nice - especially the hot tub, which was a real treat, especially during the hotest days of the year. We enjoyed watching the planes land since its near Stansteds flight path, which added a bit of fun. The hosts were super friendly and made us feel really welcome. Would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely time staying here! Sharon and Robert really went out of their way to make us feel at home, which was much appreciated. The place was spotlessly clean, cosy and felt very safe for our dog Archie. The location couldnt be better - plenty of walks nearby and charming villages like Thaxted to explore. Honestly, we left feeling refreshed and relaxed, so it was exactly what we needed!

We had such a lovely stay at this cosy place tucked away in a peaceful spot. The owners were super friendly and always ready to help if needed, but it still felt private enough to relax completely. The hot tub was a real treat after our cycle rides! A heads up, though - the cottage is right under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much after a while, but its worth knowing if youre sensitive to noise. Overall, a really nice break!

We had a fantastic stay! The house was super well kitted out and kept us cosy even on that rainy December day. The bath was perfect after a long walk and the shower was equally lovely. Being near a flight path didnt bother us at all, honestly. Perfect spot for dogs scared of fireworks - total peace and quiet. Thanks so much for a great break!

We had a fantastic holiday! The lodge was spotlessly clean, modern and really comfortable. Only a couple of things: theres no mirror outside the bathroom, so blow-drying hair was a bit tricky. Also, the bar menu was quite limited and the selection was poor. We tried the Sunday roast, which was excellent, but more meals like that wouldve been great. The bar staff seemed new, so they were a bit slow but really friendly and cheerful.

We loved the stunning views from the woodland cottage, its really peaceful. The facilities were good, though we missed having a full-length mirror in the three-bed. No coat hooks by the door, but everyone was super helpful. Debbie's massage at Clowance Spa was fantastic!

We recently stayed in this lodge and honestly, it was a mixed bag. The main living space - kitchen, diner and lounge - was really well set up and comfortable, with a smart TV and some handy lighting options, especially since we had a little one with us. The bathroom was decent, but it couldve done with frosted glass; it felt a bit too open and we had to keep the blind down the whole time. The shower was a highlight-hot, powerful and just what you need after a day out. However, hot water ran out quickly if you did washing up and both showers in quick succession, which was a bit annoying. The towel rail was tiny, so towels had a hard time drying properly and with three of us, theyd sometimes be damp or even smelly if not dried well. The bedroom was quite cramped, with a low-down bed that took some getting used to and the sheets made a loud rustling noise every time we moved, which kept waking the baby. The floor creaked a lot, too, which made it tricky when our little one was sleeping. We wanted to switch lodges and were happy to pay extra, but reception said they didnt handle reservations - we had to contact the booking company. Hoseasons told us we couldnt move unless we paid an extra £600, which was a bit much considering what we paid already. On the plus side, the location is perfect for exploring Cornwall, so that was a big bonus! Overall, not bad, but some bits could definitely be improved.

We stayed at this lovely little cottage and honestly, it had everything we could think of. No need to pack much, as the place is super well-equipped. The welcome pack was a nice touch-full of useful info and menus, which made things really easy. Our dogs loved the enclosed garden and the hot tub was just perfect after long walks! Sharon and Rob were quick to reply to any questions, which we appreciated. Thanks for a really relaxing break-definitely recommend this gem!

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was lovely, perfect for a dog walking break. Plenty of fields nearby and pubs just a short stroll away. The dog didnt want to leave, which says it all!
