We had a fantastic holiday! The kids loved it and were already planning to come back. Definitely a great way to unwind and relax!

We had a lovely stay at this cosy little site. The indoor pool, which you need to book because of the pandemic, was a great bonus and kept the kids entertained. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome. The Saturday night cabaret was a real highlight, we all enjoyed it! Location-wise, its perfect - right near Hayle Towans beach, which is fantastic, especially at low tide. The bungalow was small but spotless and had all we needed, just remember to bring your own towels. Definitely recommend for a short escape!

Tolroy Manor offers a range of self-catering properties in a holiday-village in a rural setting in Hayle, Cornwall.Hayle itself is about 5 minutes by car with shops, restaurants, the Lido and beach access around the beautiful estuary. There are beaches further afield (5- 10 mins by car) at Hayle Towans and Gwithian. Be sure to visit Kernow Coarse Fisheries round the corner who run Little Anglers clubs at the weekends with everything you need to fish with your family, fully supported by wonderful volunteers. The Tolroy Manor site itself is compact but has everything you need for your stay including a good indoor pool, outdoor tennis and mini golf, squash court and playground and an on-site laundry and shop.We stayed in a compact 3 bedroom bungalow. It was basic but comfortable and clean. Some more kitchen essentials would have been handy (soap and frying pans) and you will need to bring towels, washing up liquid, toilet roll and your food.Bed linen was provided but you will need to make up the beds. The accommodation was slightly dated and the village itself felt like it could do with a bit of an upgrade in places. The restaurant was closed for kitchen refurbishment but the seating area itself felt tired and in need of modernisation. The staff here were welcoming and friendly, they couldnt do enough to help. While basic, the accommodation offered good value for money and we loved our stay.

We recently stayed at Tolroy Manor and honestly, it was quite a decent little spot for a family break. The location is pretty handy-Hayle is just a short drive away with plenty of shops, restaurants and the lovely beach by the estuary. We spent a lot of time exploring the nearby beaches at Hayle Towans and Gwithian, which are just a quick 5-10 minute drive. The site itself is small but has all the basics covered, like an indoor pool, outdoor tennis, mini golf, squash court and a playground-that kept the kids entertained. Our bungalow was a simple, no-frills three-bedroom place. It was clean and comfy enough, though a bit on the dated side. It wouldve been nice if theyd stocked a few more kitchen essentials-some soap, frying pans, that sort of thing. We had to bring towels, toilet roll, washing-up liquid and food ourselves. The bed linen was provided, but we had to make the beds ourselves. The village could probably do with a bit of a facelift, especially the restaurant area which was closed for refurb and looked a bit tired. Still, the staff were lovely-friendly and eager to help, which made a big difference. Overall, its good value for money if youre after a basic, no-fuss holiday with plenty to do nearby. We enjoyed our stay despite the little quirks!

We were a bit wary after reading some negative reviews, but honestly, our stay was great. The house was spotless and ready when we arrived, which was a relief. Everything we needed was there, except a dishwasher - wouldve been handy! The beds were super comfy and having two bathrooms was a real bonus. Overall, a really pleasant stay, wed come back!

The setting was absolutely stunning, with the bungalow nestled in gorgeous nature. We did notice no towels were provided, probably because of Covid and the cutlery was pretty grimy, so we had to wash everything first. Still, lovely overall.

The Gold Bungalow was lovely! We asked for a pet-free one and it was spotless with a nice, practical layout. Definitely recommend for a relaxing stay!

The place was spotless and we felt comfortable overall. The only issue was the large sofa - it was repaired with a piece of wood, making it quite uncomfortable to sit on at a strange angle. Still, pretty happy with everything else.

Overall, we had a good time. The bungalow was spotless and the site itself was lovely for families. The only downside was the damp smell that seemed to linger everywhere, which was a bit off-putting. Still, wed come back again!

Overall, a decent stay, but the beds werent made when we arrived, which was a bit of a surprise. Sheets were clean but marked up. Could really do with a proper deep clean, though. Still, comfy enough for our weekend.

Was given a 4 bed when there were 5 of us and had to move, no beds made up so had to go back to reception again, was told they'd sort and make up, got back later to find a bag of linen on the doorstep and ended up making 5 beds myself. No WiFi unless in main clubhouse. Apartment was silver but very tired and run down and smelled musty as did we and our clothes after staying. Shower was nice. Dirty windowsils, broken chest of drawers, uncomfortable beds and sofa, sofa bed mattress like a rock. Bedding was OK and curtains did keep out light. Only stayed 2 nights.

Honestly, weve had some pretty dodgy experiences with pet stays before, so we were a bit wary. But this place was actually really nice - super clean, modern and comfortable. Sadly, we couldnt bring all our dogs this time because of unexpected puppies, but overall, were happy with it!

A lot of "pet accomodation" can be hit and miss. We ended up not being able to bring our dogs as 2 turned into 8 with the birth of unplanned accidental puppies! My partner also missed out. However... this accommodation was clean, modern and comfy. In fact it looked pristine.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but the place could definitely use some sprucing up. Some areas had black mould spots and the patio door doesnt open due to a broken fitting, which was a bit frustrating. Still, the location is fantastic and the shaded surroundings kept us cool. Beds are a tad hard, but the space worked perfectly for our family of six. Would stay again with some updates!
