The lodge was beautiful, I have only spent British holidays in caravans and some luxurious but after this holiday I want to stay in a lodge as the space is so nice, bed sizes great, comfortable well equipped

Lodge was well equipped and very clean.Cleanest lodge we have stayed in.Hot tun and outdoor seating allowance new and very prestine.Kept informed of procedures regarding check in and when lodge was ready. Good customer relations. Housekeeping were amazing at helping with missing items,soon resolved. Grounds were well maintained and site very well kept. If you do like to use the facilities and restaurant it can be a bit of a trek on foot.Restaurant and bar amazing,lovely staff and all areas were often cleaned regularly by staff. Food was yummy and good selection of drinks.Would say maybe more signage for lodge numbers,if you arrive late,can be a bit of an issue.Would definitely say 5plus site.Can't wait to return.

Great holiday with incredible on site facilitiesThe children's menu in the restaurant in basic and slightly over priced Swimming pool clean and incredibly tidy.The lodge was spacious, great facilities, slightly worn furniture but a few cushions and new curtains would ensure this freshens up the place.Only downside would be the lack of privacy with the hot tub. When you are in the hot tub there is a cover behind you so your neighbours do not see you, however on the balcony area there you can see onto other peoples area. Not great when kids are getting changed.

We have been upgraded to Finn lodge and the experience was a fab and the hot tub is a luxury bonus. We have had a nice and memorable holiday and celebrated my husbands bday with a fab. The lodge itself is very clean, spacious and very homey. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. Thank you????

Had everything we needed and more. Clean with friendly staff.

Shabby & unloved. Several issues that were reported to team. Dinning chairs were old & needing to be replaced.We had a leak from the main bathroom into lounge.

Loved the lodge, excellent value for money, only negative is that the sofa bed was not particularly comfortable.

We had the best time here, we found it very central which really was what we were looking for. We come to Cornwall every year and stay at different places but we loved it here so much we are going to rebook to come back next year.

We would book the Gatehouse again. We enjoyed our holiday very much.

Was an amazing experience at the Clowance lodge, amazing venue and very private when using our hot tub. Was very peaceful even tho working was happening it did not disturb us

We had a lovely stay at Clowance, accommodation was spotlessly clean, hot tub was super relaxing and the facilities/pool was just perfect. My partner enjoyed some relaxing treatments in the Spa and highly recommends the spa if you are into massages and treatments etc..

Had a fantastic 4 nights in the treehouse. It Lived up to our expectations. The Clowance estate is quite central to a lot of local places to visit/ Nation Trust etc. Its our 40th wedding anniversary this year which was partly the reason for the trip. Would definitely go again if could get a good deal.

Fantastic time with memories made

Fantastic break, wish we had booked for longer!, everything was perfect.

the only issue was that we were 6 adults staying in lodge and the hot tub only comfortably took 4 .

As expected the Hot Tub was not ready for use on the first night. I understand that they need to be emptied and cleaned before use. Maybe this could be started from 8am on the morning of departure.
The spa bath was disappointing. When I switched the jets on, scummy residue came through them and it smelt like stagnant water. I reported this to reception and the bath was cleaned the next day.
The cabin as a whole could do with a refresh as many of the fixtures and fittings are showing their age.

Cant emphasise enough, that I will be returning. Next time Ill be coming in the summer though!

Lovely relaxing holiday. Great new hot tubs after staying here last year with the wood burning ones. Made good use of them.
