Great location for visiting the local area and attractions. Our second visit to this site for the golf. The lodge itself is spacious but would benefit from an upgrade as it is beginning to look well used. Despite the lodge being clean it seemed to have an odour I couldnt place, which gave me a headache after a while. I would have liked some sort of fireplace as a focal point as it didnt feel cosy especially this time of year. Whilst most people on this site were relaxing with friends and family and some were celebrating which is lovely. We didnt appreciate being woken up from our slumber by the fireworks set off at 3 am in the morning. All that said still a great golf course and place to visit.

The lodges are well equipped and clean. The hot tub area could do with making a little more private by simply joining the wooden screens and what also would make it a little better is if there was a fenced off area around the lodge so that your dog could be allowed to come outside without having to be either on a lead or tied to the lodge by a hook.

Again I said location great but lodge to a poor standard. Its a shame as setting fantastic. Would like to return but not if lodges are in poor quality.

As others have previously said, the lodges are in need of a refresh. Having been before we have noticed areas where cutbacks have been made. We were in a deluxe lodge as previous but would not class it as deluxe and would go as far as saying we felt we had been put in the wrong lodge to what we had booked Having said that it hasnt put us off returning, especially if the lodges get a bit of a refresh and it is a lovely area.

This holiday was booked as a special occasion to celebrate both our 20th wedding anniversary and our daughters 20th birthday but instead it was marred by multiple issues, which I outline below.1. Misrepresentation of AccommodationPrior to booking, I confirmed with the resort that our lodge (allocated as Lodge 23) would contain 2 double rooms and 1 twin room, which suited our family as we have twin boys aged 17 who require separate beds.On arrival, the lodge had 3 double rooms, with one of them made up of two singles that could not be separated due to fixed furniture and the rooms restricted size. This meant one of my sons was forced to sleep on the sofa in the lounge throughout our stay completely unacceptable given what we had booked and confirmed in advance.2. Condition of the LodgeUpon arrival, the lodge had a strong smell of damp, and once inside we discovered the following issues (all of which we have photographed and recorded):Internal blinds broken some stuck down, blocking natural light.Freezer drawers broken and unusable.Fridge shelves missing (vegetable and door compartments).Mismatched cutlery.Strong smell of damp throughout.Curtain in master bedroom hanging off the ceiling.Ensuite bathroom door unable to close.Hot tub broken, containing black debris floating in the water.Kitchen baseboards loose; washing machine door broken off and left in cupboard.Tap in main bathroom loose and hanging off. This accommodation is clearly not of deluxe standard as advertised.3. Hot Tub FailureThe hot tub did not work from the start of our stay.Site maintenance staff admitted it was a recurring issue and described this lodge as the bane of our lives. An external company eventually confirmed that the pump needed replacing. The repair was not completed until late Wednesday evening, meaning the hot tub was unusable for most of our short break.4. Poor Customer ServiceNo management presence was provided despite repeated requests.Staff at reception repeatedly promised that the manager would meet us, but he was not available and even took a day off during our stay.Reception staff appeared embarrassed, acknowledging these were not isolated issues.SummaryWe booked a deluxe family lodge with hot tub and instead were provided with accommodation that was:Misrepresented in layout. In poor and unsafe condition.Without a working hot tub for the majority of our stay.Managed without any accountability or care from senior staff.Given the misrepresentation of the lodge, the substandard conditions, and the failure to provide the facilities we paid for, we consider this a serious breach of contract.

all over the place, sofa was dirty, dirty curtains in the lounge. Lodge looked very tired throughout and no one tested or refilled the hot tub all week. Very limited kitchen plates, knives, forks and cup for a party of six. No privacy due to the golf course and very noisy at nights with people up till the early hours

Lodge was a bit dated. Heating was constantly on even though we had maintenance have a look at it, we had to get fans to try and keep cool. The hot tub had no power from the jets. The golf course was nice and restaurant food was good with friendly staff.

Lovely lodge. Well maintained with nice fittings. Super hot tub, nicely secluded and private. Our tv reception was a bit dodgy but were forewarned about it. General toiletries were on the extremely mean side for a deluxe accommodation and no coffee press were the only disappointments. Apart from that highly recommended

On the whole the lodge was very spacious and perfect for a whole family. The only negative we had was the lodge needed a few minor maintenance upgrades such as the door holder in the fridge was broken so we couldn't use it, the vanity in one of the bathrooms was peeling and needed replacing and one of the blinds in the living room area wasn't working. There was also a very strong smell of drains in the bathrooms when we arrived but this was reported and rectified.

The site its self is very well kept however the Delux lodge needs a lot attention the maintenance side lets them down. From unfinished patched up work on the ceilings to leaking showers with water spraying all over the ceiling causing paint to peal.Cupboard doors not alined properly and the dishwasher door would just drop down very fast causing it to be unsafe. The fire door on master bedroom was missing the fire seal.Staff all very nice and friendly. We would not recommend to friends and family. If a little money was spend on the lodges it would be the perfect place. We stayed in lodge 16

Lodge was a bit tried and needs a refresh of paint and grouting. Some of the furniture also needs a good clean or replacing. The blind on the large window downstairs was broken and therefore we could not close it

Lovely pleasant welcome on arrival. We stayed at lodge 23 overlooking a nice par 3.Really well set out and well equipped great information guide and everything was sign posted around the resort itself.A few minor areas that could do with a touch up but in all honestly most peoples homes have these little tweaks that we all do when we can. Would it make me mark the resort down because of it absolutely not!We loved it, kids loved it and the dog loved it. Really enjoyed our weekend stay with you guys.Food at the restaurant was good. Golf club food, reasonable prices and the lady who served us (dark haired, sorry I didnt get your name) was brilliant. It was really busy and she never missed a beat. 5 stars for her alone! We took a walk in to town one day (30 mins) great shops, bars hand had a lovely Indian before getting an Uber (only £5) back to the Lodge.
