Good sized lodge, quiet surroundings, only 15 Minutes from York Maze which is definitely worth the visit and 30 minutes from York although would suggest the use of the park and ride which is 15 minutes away

We recently stayed at this lovely spot and honestly, it was just what we needed. The peaceful vibe really helped us unwind. Our first time in a paradise pod and it didnt disappoint-super comfy and warm with the heaters. The fishing lakes were a bonus and we spent ages feeding the ducks every day, which was a real highlight. The location, surrounded by water and forest, meant we did get bitten by some flies, so a bit of fly spray is worth bringing along, but its no biggie. We even lost the husb and for five days of our week but managed to relax anyway. The staff were so friendly and helpful, we cant wait to come back next year!

We had a pretty decent weekend at the lodges. The hot tub was just what we needed for some relaxation. Getting food without a car was tricky unless you brought your own supplies, which was a bit annoying. The internet was terrible-didnt work at all during our stay-and signal was almost non-existent. Still, overall, it was a good break and wed recommend it!

We had a lovely stay at the lodge! It was super cosy and spotless, with everything we needed already there. The hot tub was a real highlight - clean and nice and warm when we arrived. Parking right outside was handy too. Definitely recommend!

The sofas could really do with some cushions to make things cozier. Also, bringing towels and hand wash would be a massive help-had to brave Storm Darrah just to grab these essentials. Bit of a pain!

We found the place really peaceful and the views were lovely, perfect for relaxing. The lodge was comfy and well-equipped, which was great. Sadly, the fishing was a bit of a letdown since we only caught a few fish and had to pay to fish. Plus, check-in at 4pm and check-out at 9am meant we lost valuable fishing time, especially on a fishing holiday. There were no amenities like a pub or restaurant on-site, so we had to travel for food and drinks. Still, overall, a nice spot to unwind, just a bit frustrating about the fishing hours.

The stay was lovely, especially with the kids. Our pods were right next to each other, just as we asked, which was great. Luckily, we managed to visit just before the second lockdown hit-phew!

Venue its self was peaceful and relaxing with lovely views. Fishing was poor and had to pay to fish , with very little fish being caught . Check in time was 4pm so missed out on a days fishing and check out time was 9am so again missed out on a days fishing . Lodge was good and comfortable with all cooking utensils in good order . Was disappointed that we could only fish 3 days having booked a fishing holiday. No amenities on site ie pub /restaurant so had to travel for these .

We decided to surprise our little one with a last-minute trip to Paradise for his birthday, since hes been dreaming of an adventure. Booking was super straightforward, which was a relief! When we arrived, the staff greeted us with genuine warmth and made us feel really welcome. The pod itself was spot on-had all the essentials and truly felt like an adventure. We especially appreciated the little touches, like the welcome pack packed with useful info. The site isnt overcrowded, which we loved; its clear the owners want visitors to enjoy a peaceful, nature-filled escape. Were already talking about coming back next year. Thanks for a lovely experience!

We had a lovely time staying here! The setting is so peaceful and scenic, with the lake just a few steps from the door - perfect for fishing. The wildlife, especially the birds and ducks, made it even more special. The hut was spotless and well-equipped for our short stay. Definitely coming back!

We had a really great four-night stay and honestly, it was fantastic value for money. The bed was way more comfortable than ours at home, which was such a bonus! The lodge was spotless and well-maintained, with everything we needed - though I guess a dishwasher wouldve been handy, but its not a big deal for just two of us. The furniture was nice, but the leather sofa could use a bit of a refresh, even though it was still comfy.
