Had a lovely time visting York City, enjoyed the countryside and the Lodge hottub. Lovely area and peaceful setting

Excellent lodges and well placed for the east coast and beyond. Staff very friendly and will solve any problem. Cant wait to go back. Lodges are spacious and clean and have everything you need, dishwasher and washing machine which come in very handy.

Lovely pleasant welcome on arrival. We stayed at lodge 23 overlooking a nice par 3.Really well set out and well equipped great information guide and everything was sign posted around the resort itself.A few minor areas that could do with a touch up but in all honestly most peoples homes have these little tweaks that we all do when we can. Would it make me mark the resort down because of it absolutely not!We loved it, kids loved it and the dog loved it. Really enjoyed our weekend stay with you guys.Food at the restaurant was good. Golf club food, reasonable prices and the lady who served us (dark haired, sorry I didnt get your name) was brilliant. It was really busy and she never missed a beat. 5 stars for her alone!We took a walk in to town one day (30 mins) great shops, bars hand had a lovely Indian before getting an Uber (only £5) back to the Lodge.

Large and modern lodges, nicely situated in the countryside.

The lodge was spacious and well kitted out. Loved the art work around the place. Our only downfalls were the shower trays would overflow, which had led to some water damage on the ceiling downstairs by previous guests, and some of the kitchen utensils were rusty.

Lovely spacious lodge in beautiful surroundings. Lodges are private and have all that you need. The interior is a little tired but it didnt affect our break.For future guests, take extra toilet rolls and hand soap. Also, be aware that some glass doors leading to the patio/hot tub do not have warning stickers and pose a risk of people walking into them.Overall, we would return.

We have stayed here a few times and the lodges are now starting to show their age. They are in desperate need of a refurb especially for the price charged. Ours had floors with dips in, flooring with gaps, kitchen doors that didnt close and had a lot of damage. Two radiators leaked and the ceiling had been patched badly at some point. None of the window blinds worked properly and our bedroom window would not close.The location is excellent and the staff lovely but we wont be back until it has had a refurb.

Lovely stay, peaceful and relaxing. Really nice accommodation. Kitchen slightly lets it down and remember to bring your own dishwasher tablets. Hob/ oven slow to cook/ heat . Utensil blunt and not surplus plates/glasses etc

We were extremely disappointed with this lodge. It lacked privacy from other surrounding lodges, had broken blinds, was poorly maintained, old furniture, excessive wear and tear, minimal cooking utensils, mismatched worn and damaged budget furniture, holes in bedding & curtains, missing and dropped kitchen doors, cobwebs and mould in en-suite and stairwell window. The whole lodge felt dirty and shabby. There are simply too many maintenance issues that just havent been addressed. This lodge requires a full upgrade. Its budget at best but is marketed as sold as luxury at a premium price. I wouldnt recommend or stay again.

Very tired property which lacked a welcome pack, had hardly any kitchen equipment, no hand soap in any of the bathrooms. No robes and limited towels

Almost everything was in working order minus the dishwasher leaked but speaking to reception they were sending someone to take a look but we wasnt fussed as just as quick to use the sink.

Had a great time, everything you need to get there and relax

Great relaxing break, very good accommodation in the lodges, they're just in need of a fair bit of upkeep and ongoing maintenance / TLC. Main problems were people parking on our allocated spaces, as our lodge was next to a hotel lodge and I don't believe they come with parking except in the main golf course car park. The kitchen area was a little worn and missing a few utensils like scissors. And only one small bar of soap provided despite the lodge having 3 bathrooms. I think they just need a really good refresh but otherwise perfectly livable for a week's break and we'll probably book again

Lodge just needs a bit of updating and refreshing but overall had a lovely stay in a beautiful location.

The lodge was nice however the bath was way to small and only two bathrooms had showers both had mould one on the ceiling and the other on the tiles really showing wear. The bedrooms were really comfortable and beds amazing again general wear and tear in living area all ceilings and furniture looking worn and marked. Please update things we love it here but if the lodges keep getting worse we wont visit anymore not for the cost they are

The lodge was really lovely-super modern and spacious, definitely somewhere wed stay again. Just a couple of cushions on the sofa wouldve made it feel more cosy and a bit more kitchen gear wouldnt hurt. Still, great stay!

We had a really lovely stay and the lodge park is beautiful. It was the relaxing stay we all needed. The only thing I would say, is the lodge itself needed a little bit of TLC. We stayed at this park 6 years ago where everything seemed a lot newer. There were just a few things in the lodge that felt like it needed a little bit of love. However, we had a splendid stay!

The lodge was in a lovely spot, but honestly, it feels a bit tired. The sunken floors in the kitchen and the battered units really show their age. It was clean, but not spotless. The hot tub was definitely a highlight, perfect after a long day. Still, the place could do with some proper TLC to make it really special.

We really enjoyed our time here and the park itself is stunning, perfect for unwinding. The lodge was comfortable, but it could do with some sprucing up - its a bit worn compared to when we visited six years ago. Still, it didnt ruin our stay; we had a lovely break and left feeling refreshed. A few small touches would make it even better, but overall, it was a great experience!

Nice location but lodges feeling dated with sunken floors in the kitchen area to damaged and extremely well used kitchen units/appliances. Everything is just showing its age and heavy use. Was clean enough but certainly not spotless. Hot Tub was great although the Lodges seem to been a location that attracts hen/stag nights. Its was ok to be honest, but needs some TLC.

The lodge was beautiful, well kept and clean with beautiful views over the golf course.
