The staff here really make a difference-friendly and welcoming. The facilities are well-maintained and always clean, even during school holidays when its busier. Just a heads up, the chips are a bit different but still tasty. No booking needed, always space for a swim!

The place was really roomy, which was perfect for us. We're not fussed about luxury, just a comfy spot to crash after busy days out. It met all our needs and was just what we wanted. Definitely recommend for a simple stay!

We booked a chalet and arrived only to be handed keys to a van without any warning about the switch. Turns out it was because of water damage, which we werent told upfront. The reception only mentioned it after we returned, which was a bit frustrating. We also mentioned that the van's seating was too tight for our group of four adults, especially with one whos over six foot. We were told no other options were available and that we could leave if we didnt want to stay. After a four-hour drive, we felt pretty let down, especially since we expected better customer care. Not the best experience, Im afraid.

The place was pretty close to the beach, which was lovely. However, our caravan wasnt great for sleeping because an outside lamp shone so brightly it felt like daylight at night. Plus, when it got windy, the caravan squeaked constantly, which was pretty annoying. Not quite what we hoped for!

We were hoping for a place closer to the amenities since we had two disabled guests in our party, but its not always doable. The cost was quite high compared to a later booking, which actually turned out to be better overall. The main thing missing was an en-suite in the double room, but for the price, it wasnt a huge deal. Entertainment was enjoyable and the fish shop was excellent.

We had such a lovely, chilled holiday in the caravan. It was really well-equipped and spotless. The only hiccup was the TV, but it was sorted out super quickly. Definitely recommending this place to friends - well be back for sure!

We had such a chilled holiday, loved playing bingo with a couple of drinks in hand. The arcade was a fun break from everything else. Overall, it was fantastic and wed definitely return!

We found the lodge to be a huge step up from squeezing six of us into a cramped caravan. It was really comfortable, beautifully decorated and super clean. The only downside was arriving to some faults, like a broken dishwasher, which couldve been sorted out beforeh and with a proper inspection. Still, overall, it was a lovely stay and wed happily come back to a Kingfisher Lodge. Definitely worth it for the comfort and style!

Date of stay: 16th March 2020
We stayed at this place for a quick weekend getaway and honestly, it was pretty decent. When we arrived, we found the chalet to be warm, spotless and a good size for the two of us. It had everything we needed for self-catering, which was handy. We did have a bit of a mishap with the bathroom door handle-got a bit heavy-handed and broke it, but the staff were really friendly and sorted it out quickly, even installing a new fridge-freezer within the hour. The only thing that bugged us was the oven-it kept smoking when we tried to use it, setting off the alarm. It didnt look particularly dirty, so maybe it just needed a good rinse. Also, the fencing around the park looked a bit unsafe, with some loose rails that could be a hazard. Overall, not bad at all!

We requested a different place because of the smoky smell and they sorted us out with Eagle Lodge, which was perfect. Its tucked away in a peaceful spot near the fields and close to the beach, so it was really nice. The lodge was comfy and we loved relaxing on the veranda with a cold drink on sunny afternoons. Nice stay!

Date of stay: 2nd September 2019
We had a lovely time at the park! The lodges are really spacious and spotless, definitely good value for money, especially for bigger families. The location is perfect, just a minute to the beach and entertainment centre. The Sunday fun day was a hit with the kids, great idea and super cheap at just £2 each. The swimming pools a bit tired but didnt bother the kids at all. We cant wait to come back next year!

We really enjoyed our stay at the park. The Swan caravan was cosy and roomy, making it perfect for relaxing after lovely beach walks. Great evenings too!

Date of stay: 12th August 2019
Nice chalet overall, but the living room furniture felt a bit old-fashioned and wobbly table.
