We had a fantastic stay! Sharon and Robert were lovely hosts and really made us feel at home. The place had everything we needed - super clean, comfy and safe for Archie, our dog. The location was perfect, with loads of nice walks nearby. Thaxted and the surrounding villages are charming spots to explore. Honestly, we left feeling totally refreshed and relaxed. It was just what we needed!

We had a fantastic stay! The house was really well kitted out and super warm, which was a lifesaver on that rainy December day. The bath was just perfect and the shower was great too. Being near a flight path didnt bother us at all-dont let that put you off. Ideal spot for dogs scared of fireworks, totally in the middle of nowhere. Lovely place, thanks again!

We had such a lovely stay at this cottage! The place was spotless and had everything we needed. Loved the easy access to dog walks nearby, perfect for our furry friends. The host was super friendly and quick to reply. Meeting the farm animals, especially Penelope the pig, was a real highlight. Definitely coming back again!

The staff at Cardigan Bay are genuinely lovely, always welcoming and friendly. We loved the stunning beach just nearby and our trip to New Quay to see the dolphins was a real highlight. Perfect place to stay!

We had a lovely stay at this cosy cottage tucked away on a working farm and honestly, it felt really private. Robert and Sharon were such friendly hosts, making us feel welcome from the start. The place itself was super spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. The bed was incredibly comfy, which is always a plus. The garden was perfect for our dog-completely fenced and with nice furniture. We enjoyed exploring the nearby walks and dining at local spots like The Star and The Maypole. Definitely recommend it!

We stayed here for a week in July with our two adorable mini daschunds and honestly, we had a great time. The cottage was charming and the hot tub was a real highlight, especially during those scorching days when the water was just right for a refreshing dip. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. It was nice seeing their horses being taken out daily and even though its near Stansteds flight path, we actually enjoyed watching the planes. Wed definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway!

We had a fantastic weekend here! The place really ticked all our boxes and we can't wait to return. Our dogs adored the underfloor heating; they were so comfy. The garden was perfect for them to play in. Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it, but shes fine now. Happy dogs, happy us! Definitely recommend.

We had a really lovely time at this cottage. Its set on a working farm, but feels super private and peaceful. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are genuinely lovely folks. The place itself is spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom - everything you need. The bed was incredibly comfy, which made for great nights sleep. The garden is perfect for dogs, totally secluded and nicely furnished. Plus, there are plenty of walks nearby and we enjoyed visiting Thaxteds restaurants; The Star and The Maypole are top picks. Wed definitely recommend it!

The hosts were super friendly and always ready to help if needed, but they didn't intrude on our privacy which we really appreciated. The hot tub was a real treat after a long day of cycling - so relaxing! A little heads up, the cottage is under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of noise from the planes. It didnt bother us too much once we got used to it, but might be worth considering if you're sensitive to noise. Overall, a great place!

We stayed here for a week in mid-July with our two little dachshunds and honestly, they loved every minute! They made friends with some local dogs, which was adorable. The cottage itself is charming and the hot tub was a real treat, especially during the scorching weather - the cooled water was so refreshing. The hosts were super friendly and made us feel really welcome; it was nice to see them taking their dogs to the fields each day. Being near Stansted's flight path was interesting - I enjoyed watching the planes land. Definitely recommend hiding here for a relaxing getaway!

We had a really lovely stay here. The peaceful, private setting was just what we needed and the owners were super friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The hot tub was a real highlight after cycling all day - absolutely perfect! A heads up, the cottage is right under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much once we got used to it, but if you're sensitive to noise, its something to consider. Overall, a great spot for a relaxing getaway!

The welcome pack was really thoughtful, filled with useful info and menus - a lovely touch. The enclosed garden was perfect for the dogs, who loved the space.
