We had a fantastic week at the cottage with our two mini daschunds. They loved making new friends in the charming village of Thaxted, which was a real highlight for us. The place itself is lovely, especially the hot tub - a real treat, especially during the hot weather when the cooled water felt so refreshing! The hosts were super friendly and welcoming and it was nice to see their dogs being taken out to the fields everyday. Being close to Stansteds flight path was interesting too, watching the planes land. Would definitely recommend!

The village of Thaxted is charming and the cottage itself is cosy with a great hot tub-perfect for those scorching days when the water was just right after being cooled. The hosts were super welcoming and it was nice to see them taking their horses out each day. Being near Stansteds flight path was interesting, watching the planes come in. All in all, wed definitely recommend this place for a relaxed getaway!

The place is really spacious, with well-equipped kitchen and bathroom and the bed was super comfy. The garden is perfect for dogs - private, secure and nicely furnished. Plenty of walks nearby and Thaxted has some cracking restaurants like The Star and The Maypole. Wed definitely recommend it!
