Cardigan Bay Holiday Park - Reviews

A weeks holiday taken at the end of the season which meant that the caravan was very good value for money. The holiday park is very well kept along with the facilities. The staff were all very friendly and happy to share their knowledge of the area.

We had slats missing on beds broken toilet which was fixed immediately by staff unable to use freezer as it was frozen solid seats in lounge area sold and frayed curtains hanging from rails

Lovely few days stay in The Old Millers cottage , beautiful cottage in lovely surroundings , although I have to say some of the facilities provided were a little basic for the money, for example the iron and ironing board were quite pathetic in quality and only one toilet roll being provided seemed rather inadequate again taking in to account the actual cost to stay at the cottage.I stress that these were only small issues and they would certainly not prevent me from returning but nevertheless seem worthy of mention.The surrounding area around Poppit Sands and Gwbert etc. were simply beautiful and made all the more special as we were lucky to enjoy some fantastic sunshine all weekend Hopefully we will return very soon

We had a fantastic stay! Sharon and Robert were lovely hosts and really made us feel at home. The place had everything we needed - super clean, comfy and safe for Archie, our dog. The location was perfect, with loads of nice walks nearby. Thaxted and the surrounding villages are charming spots to explore. Honestly, we left feeling totally refreshed and relaxed. It was just what we needed!

We had a fantastic stay! The house was really well kitted out and super warm, which was a lifesaver on that rainy December day. The bath was just perfect and the shower was great too. Being near a flight path didnt bother us at all-dont let that put you off. Ideal spot for dogs scared of fireworks, totally in the middle of nowhere. Lovely place, thanks again!

The place itself was super spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. The bed was incredibly comfy, which is always a plus. The garden was perfect for our dog-completely fenced and with nice furniture. We enjoyed exploring the nearby walks and dining at local spots like The Star and The Maypole. Definitely recommend it!

We had a fantastic weekend here! The place really ticked all our boxes and we can't wait to return. Our dogs adored the underfloor heating; they were so comfy. The garden was perfect for them to play in. Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it, but shes fine now. Happy dogs, happy us! Definitely recommend.

The welcome pack was really thoughtful, filled with useful info and menus - a lovely touch. The enclosed garden was perfect for the dogs, who loved the space. Perfect location, immaculate caravan and all staff lovely, great sense of humour and nothing too much trouble. This was the quietest site we’ve stayed on. We didn’t use the on-site leisure facilities, so can’t comment.

Lovely holiday park situated up a single track road, so can get caught out and have to reverse If driving. But don’t ,t let that put you off. Pool complex needs booking which could get busy in school holidays, sandy beach 10 minutes walk with lifeguards. Caravan clean and seemed pretty new. Car essential for visiting local area, as buses infrequent.
