Our reaction when we walked into the lodge was simply wow! It was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated throughout. You walk in through a utility room so no dirty shoes are coming into the main living area. There is a washing machine in this area too. The living area has two very comfortable sofas, a dining area and then the kitchen complete with fridge, freezer, oven, microwave and a dishwasher. The only thing we found to be missing was a sweeping brush so we had no means of getting the crumbs up of the floor. There are 2 patio doors leading out onto a decking area. A corridor off the living area takes you down to the 3 bedrooms. The 2 twin rooms are a very good size and one has a door into the main bathroom. The master bedroom is a little cramped but it does benefit from an en-suite. There are no facilities on site at all but we were happy with this as we spent our days out. It is about a 30 minute walk into cheddar. The site is secure with a key coded gate. All in all a great last minute find.

Date of stay: 13th November 2017
With only 2 lodges currently on the site is a great place to hire both for a bigger family event. Fully fenced and safe for dogs despite being on a busy A road. Lodge spotless with a 'still new' feel and quality flooring, curtains & light fittings. Strange that the exterior was jet washed while we were in there instead of during changeover times. Internal lobby entrance excellent idea.

Could not have asked for a better break away. The accommodation was first class and very clean. Everything that we required was provided. The "Welcome Basket" was the icing on the top.

Fantastic lodge, modern interior, comfy with everything needed. Secure gated area so great for pets and children as very busy main road directly outside. Nice touch with the welcome goodies. Welcome wine and biccies.
Rob
An excellent lodge in a beautiful and convenient location. Will definitely be coming back.
