Cob webs on lamp shade, hot tub no light working and jets very low pressure. When checked in was water in the bathroom on the floor, I think the shower must have been on. It did smell of dog in the lodge. We go each year but they are now tired and dated for what you pay for.

As with so many holiday companies I'm UK they don't give a damn , inflated prices in there shops on sites, misleading advertising, the site was a wasps paradise because of outdated outdoor furniture made of wood, the hot tubs were 20 years old so don't expect a jacuzzi you will get more bubbles if you and your guests eat some beans before getting into the tub!! If you want extras you have to pay more for everything, the caravans not lodges are so close together there's no privacy, overall a big letdown , and we all learn by our mistakes

Definitely in need of a decor upgrade, upstairs is better than downstairs. Need some new furnishings and to remove all the excess dated pictures. In all the lodge was great , just needs a few updates.

Overall the site was nice, we were unable to drive close to our cabin which meant carrying everything from the car, usually I wouldn't mind but it was raining very hard. My wife found the bed very uncomfortable and didn't sleep very well, there was a few maintenance issues with the cabin and it needed a very big clean. Although this is the cheapest cabin on site cleanliness is of a high priority.The site is located next to various lakes and if you have children is great, there are ducks that came to the cabin door every morning and my daughter loved it. If your after an "unplugged" break then this is the place to be, there was zero phone signal which I didn't mind myself but when children nowadays have ipads etc it's difficult to keep them busy prior to bedtime. Again overall we enjoyed our break (especially the hot tub), and the site was very peaceful, but its the little things that count and mean so much more.

The whole place is tired and needs work, the bath and shower were covered in black mould. Furnishings were full of dust etc...You would expect the management to show some care and get this removed.The only good thing about this place is the location as its perfect to visit both North York Moors and Yorkshire Dales. We even managed to go across to Peak District ( 2 hours from here)The holiday park has potential but poor management.I wouldn't return here or consider Landal Parks again.

Absolutely fantastic lodge.We're hoping to get back later on in the year. With having children the lodge was in a ideal location and would book this lodge again.I could easily live here. Beds were so comfortable.

Beautiful place and scenery.Lodge definitely needed an update as it was tired looking inside and out.Needed a proper clean of the oven and integrated fridge.Staff were amazing and couldnt do enough to help.

Yew Tree Lodge itself was very basic, not very comfortable, both settee and bed left a lot to be desired. Hot tub was good.

The cherry tree that we were in was clean but requires some minor repairs to this. Like on entering the wall area to hang coats up needed repainting. Shower area water wasn't going down plug spilling over on floor.

Everything was very good only had one problem which was a window that would not lock properly but reported to staff and they said that they would get maintenance staff to sort it out.

We really liked the cabin, the beds were very comfortable and it suited us perfectly. If I could make one change I would ask for more crockery. It was great to have a dishwasher but we didn't have enough crockery to be able to use it, and it would have been nice not to wash up on holiday.

We had a really lovely holiday and would definitely return and recommend to other people. The only thing I would say is for the price you pay a few more basic items could be added to the cabin like washing up liquid, toilet bleach, anti bac spray more toilet roll and a small milk maybe? We don’t drive and had to order the other items in, but if I would have known I would have bought them with me. Also if there was an option of having the towels changed once during the week that would have been really good. However it’s a fab place to stay and we all had a really great time so thanks very much. The staff were friendly helpful and professional at all times and facilities were great!

What a beautiful location. The lodge was brand new and so comfortable and clean. Everything we needed apart from a long handled brush. If you want to keep the lodges in this top top condition you need to help the guests look after them too. It’s hard to sweep a floor with a dust pan and brush! The facilities were good especially the pool being free. Water activities need more equipment though. And ohhh the hot tub how fabulous was that! It made our holiday. All in all fantastic and I will definitely be coming back soon.

Fabulous holiday, loved the lodge, lovely and modern. Only issue was the hottub got a little dirty after on the third day, we told a member of staff but wasn't rectified for us. Mentioned it was because of the extreme heat and it was a brand new hottub so hopefully just a one off. Restaurant was gorgeous and the sports bar is a nice touch. Overall we would return in the future.

We stayed in the dog friendly Aspen Lodge, which had a gated decking area which was great for the dog to have freedom, lodge was very spacious & clean & everything provided, hot tub was a bonus, location is amazing & fishing on site, very friendly staff, highly recommend & will definitely return.

Thoroughly recommend this park, a nice size, clean and tidy. Very handy having a the restaurant and sports bar located next door. Swimming pool, soft play, cafe and mini shop all very useful.
