Couldn't recommend Fairway Lakes Lodges enough! Lodge was big, clean and had everything we could need! Large fridge/freezer & oven, large hot tub with a hot hose if we needed to top up, gas fire, TV's with Netflix... perfect for a relaxing weekend with friends! Beds were very comfy too. Really easy to find and access, we only encountered one staff member, lovely lady coming to check our hot tub in the morning. We didn't end up using the pool & spa as it was kind of pricey and closed quite early. Very good value for money, especially with personal sauna; will definitely be returning.

Date of stay: 1st December 2017
The mattress on the bed in the largest bedroom needs replacing . It is too thin and too soft , not enough support . We ended up sleeping in the two smaller rooms because the mattresses were better.
Also wasnt cleaned to a high standard but on the whole a lovely villa to stay in .

Lovely break away. The lodge itself was immaculate. Everything you could need. Usually I am inclined to clean the kitchen and bathroom areas whenever I arrive at an accommodation but it was refreshing to see that the lodge was spotless and it was clear that it had been thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival.
Lisa, Leicester
Date of stay: 20th October 2017
Lovely lodges I can't commented on staff as we didn't see a single person but that suited us as there was an emergency number if you needed it.

Date of stay: 17th July 2017
Had to wash the glasses and some crockery and cutlery before use. Should be checked between guests and put through dishwasher if necessary. This is a small thing but is an easy fix for future guests. On the whole it is a great lodge and we would definitely use again.
Kayleigh, Reading
Date of stay: 17th July 2017
Lovely lodge. Will defiantly be returning.
The views where lovely even had ducks come and join us every morning!
Hot tub and sauna was perfect to relax in especially overlooking the views.
The layout of the lodge was great! even the glass bridge was so different and unexpected was a very nice touch.
We didn't have any contact with the owner but it wasn't really a problem to us as everything was instructed in the lodge in a helpful hand book.
Christopher, Ramsgate
Date of stay: 7th July 2017
Lovely time in the lodge.

Date of stay: 2nd June 2017
The lodge is lovely and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Hot tub is welcome after a day exploring the area. The one downside, which has affected the scores, was the building work taking place on a new lodge opposite and on the road which started some days at 8 a.m. and was incredibly noisy. Not able to comment on helpfulness of staff as none on site.
Peter, Essex
Date of stay: 17th April 2017
Very well appointed and comfortable lodge for those looking for a restful location. The area was very quiet when we stayed.
We have no hesitation in recommending to other family groups considering staying. Our grand-daughter loved the hot-tub.
A car is essential as lodge is 2-3 miles from nearest shops. Good location for Yarmouth and the Norfolk Broads.

Fantastic weekend away at Fairway Lakes Lodges. The lodge is clean, tidy and very modernly decorated. Everything you need to cook is there available, no need to go out to eat. Beds ultra comfortable! Lovely views around the lodge to have a walk and a horse and donkey sanctuary on site which is worth a visit. We also spent a day at Yarmouth. But if you just wanted a relaxing weekend with your feet up there's really no need to go out. Sauna and hot tub are an added bonus which we thoroughly enjoyed! We hope to go back in the future

Julie
A lovely lodge overlooking the golf course. A well maintained hot tub situated in a secluded corner of the lodges patio. Spa and swimming facilities on the same site. Well stocked Farm shop just up the road. A relaxing break was had by all.
Charlie
Absolutely fantastic place to stay, this is the second year running that we have booked it as a family and it didn’t let us down. The place is spotless, the facilities fab and suitable for us all. My grandparents who are in their 80’s loved the sauna and the hot tub is that little bit of luxury. We will be returning again, very soon .
Deborah
Great time celebrating my 50th birthday with three friends. We came to relax and enjoy the hot tub, sauna, watching films, eating lovely food and drink.
Steve

Really easy to find and access, we only encountered one staff member, lovely lady coming to check our hot tub in the morning. Park was pretty peaceful, mainly golfers around. We didn't end up using the pool & spa as it was kind of pricey and closed quite early. Would definitely return.

These lodges are amazing. We stayed at fairway 36 and it was out if this world. Photos do not do it justice. Don't usually write reviews but this lodge was utterly amazing.

Fun Days Out near Fairway Lakes Lodges

about 5 Miles
Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park is an amazing 50 acres area of stunning coastal parkland and is packed with family friendly rides and attractions. This park is an excellent choice for families with children of varied ages as there are a number of small rides for the little ones as well as some adrenaline boosting white knuckle rides for teenagers. As well as rides the site hosts some fantastic shows including the ever popular Sea Lion and Parrot encounters. At Halloween, Christmas and Easter other themed shows can also be enjoyed.  The site also has a good range of places to eat and drink whether you are looking to spend a leisurely hour relaxing with a meal or just grab a quick snack.
about 9 Miles
Africa Alive is one of Suffolk's largest attractions and one of the most popular in the whole of the UK.  The Africa themed park is very unique and gives visitors the chance to see some amazing creatures in a habitat which is as close to nature as possible. The park can be explored by car and on foot and Hyenas and Giraffes are just some of the animals you will encounter as you make your way around the park. Watch out for the lightning fast Cheetahs and keep your eyes peeled to spot the more reclusive creatures. During a day at Africa Alive there will be plenty of shows and educational talks taking place and if the weather turns then the indoor Adventure Play Ground comes in very handy. The site also has a well stocked Gift Shop and a Discovery Centre.

Bewilderwood is a fun day out for the whole family located in the Wroxham area of Norfolk.  This imaginative adventure park has won awards and we think kids especially will love the characters and the magical tree houses. You can even book your ticket online and beat the queues by visiting their website where you can also view video clips of the park. This place is also the setting for the book 'A Boggle at BeWILDerwood', by local children's author Tom Blofeld.  Parents are not left out either as you're encouraged to take part and play alongside your children.
about 24 Miles
This fun family day out has been well planned and we think is certainly worth a visit.  New for 2010 is the PrimEvil at Dinosaur Adventure.  Other fun activities include the Dinosaur Trail, Arachnophobia, the Raptor Races and the adventure play area.  The secret animal garden is also popular.  You can play a role in wildlife conservation and sponsor an animal if you wish.  At the moment if you sign up for their newsletter there is a chance to win a family ticket.
about 27 Miles
This award winning wildlife attraction has much to offer both families and couples looking for a fun and educational day out.  You can discover a whole wild world of animals with over 1000 different animals from around the world. You will probably want to try and spend the whole day here so you don's miss out on anything.  Highlights include the amazing animals presentation, the birds of prey display and the feeding talks, all of which take place at set times of the day.  This attraction is fantastic value for money and highly recommended.  Their latest event is the Snow Leopard Club Naming Auction and there has recently been a baby giraffe born at the zoo.
about 30 Miles
We love this attraction in Scoulton, Norfolk with a great collection of animals.  Children and adults alike have the chance to get hands on with the animals in the special handling areas.  On rainy days there is always the indoor play area for the little ones and when it's time for a bite to eat the cafe on the farm is open all day selling drinks and snacks.  Hot food is available over lunch times.
about 32 Miles
The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.
about 33 Miles
This amazing owl sanctuary located in the Stowmarket area of Suffolk should be high on your list of places to visit in the area.  The attraction is also a registered charity and carries out important work in the care & rehabilitation of owls from the region.  The sanctuary also raises awareness of owl conservation throughout the UK.  Between April and the end of September there are two superb flying displays each day so you should try and make your visit coincide with one of these displays if you can.
about 36 Miles
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
about 38 Miles
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
