As it is a dog friendly lodge it would have been nice to have a fence around the lodge so the dog could have time off the lead.

the only problem we had was the heating and getting it adjusted right - should have gone to reception straight away but it suddenly worked (they also closed early as winter). Later they seemed to think maybe someone had adjusted the boiler settings.
Information book had no info on heating.

Loved the lodge I stayed in although I think the second bedroom would be a bit of a squeeze for 2 adults or teenagers. Nice modern fittings and decor. Loved having a bath with a shower - it's very steep locally and it was great to have a soak in the bath after a busy day out!

I would recommend Watermouth Lodges. We weren't expecting 5star luxury and what we got was what we expected. Clean, comfortable, good facilities, good location and a pool
