The garden is perfect for dogs-completely dog-proof and nicely furnished. There are plenty of walks nearby and Thaxted has some cracking restaurants like The Star and The Maypole. We spent a week here from July 15th to 22nd with our two mini dachshunds and they really loved it! They made some new friends in the charming village of Thaxted. The cottage itself is lovely, especially the hot tub-perfect for those hot days when the water was cooled down for a more refreshing dip. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming and it was nice to see their dogs being taken out to the fields each day. Being near Stansteds flight path was actually quite fun, watching planes land was a nice touch. Wed definitely recommend it!
