Ive booked with hoseasons previously and always had beautiful accommodation. We booked a superior caravan. On opening the door it was an overpowering smell of wet dog, I phoned what I thought was reception to be told I would need to contact hoseasons, they were closed. My husband was not arriving till late on the night. The carpet was badly stained, I did not want to sit on the sofa. The rest of the caravan was clean . We opened all windows, turned off heating and used candles to mask the smell. Tattersall sent someone out the next day to say they would use a machine to help clear the air (as we could not be moved). We had to be out of the van to do this. If it was done it did not work. I bought throws to cover the sofas ( the stains were that bad in the floor I was not going to sit on the couch. Walking around the lakes was nice if it wasnt for people not picking up after their dogs. Im very disappointed that both hoseasons and tattershall lakes did nothing to help even when Id said I would pay to change vans or would pay for an upgrade.

Very uncomfortable throughout the caravan mattresses and sofa/corner unit. Steps to gain access felt a bit unsafe, I have slight mobility issues.

This 8 peoples caravan is way too small for more than 4 people we went as 4 adults and had just enough space, beds were a little uncomfortable and small, shower was tiny , living room was nice and spacious, outside area was nice and quiet we also had a hot tub which was very nice and clean but the only thing is that the lights were not working so we couldnt go in the hot tub in the evening apart from that not too bad of a caravan but definitely too small for more that 4-5 adults

The caravan was clean and tidy and exactly what I was expecting. The TV in the double bedroom didn't work but that didn't bother me. The hot tub was great as well but the deck did seem a little unkept. It would've been good for have a dustpan and brush or vacuum to sweep as well.

Dont waste your time or money. The worst and most unhygienic place Ive ever been in my life and I travel a lot. What was meant to be a nice last minute trip away with my children ended up being a nightmare. The caravan had animal urine and excrement stains all over the carpets, sofa and seating area. The smell of stale waste and dog just hit you as soon as you opened the door and there was blood on the bedside table. The most disgusting place Ive ever witnessed not fit for humans to stay in. Condemn that caravan now

Beautiful location and site, lovely staff and lovely and clean, our caravan was lovely. The facilities are great just disappointed with the gym being small and only opening at ten oclock. Also it was a shame that you had to book a slot for swimming and just couldnt go on speck. But overall it was a lovely place, and we had a lovely time.

Park has a lot of facilities - all closed on mondays. This isnt mentioned anywhere. Park is badly laid out with things in random places & not signposted. Couldnt do golf or hire a buggy or bike because the hut was closed even though it should have been open. If you havent booked they wont let you in the indoor pool even when its empty & we wanted to see the spa but couldnt find it. No ice cream vans, waffle van only open at weekends.Caravan was good but could have done with some table lamps & once the hot tub was switched on we couldn't turn it off or alter the temperature & the lights didnt work.Really disappointing.
