Excellent holiday lodge, fully enjoyed the hot tub and lake side view.
Shannon, Kettering
Date of stay: 22nd June 2018
I loved it so much, was perfect for my little family. Plenty of room and places to store things. The only thing I suggest is air con in the caravans as it gets very stuffy and I dont like to leave windows open at night escpially with my two young kids.
Sharon, Daventry
Date of stay: 11th June 2018
Clean , modern , spacious
Tanya, Mansfield Woodhouse
Date of stay: 1st June 2018
Alot of gravel at the side of the caravan, side and back. Previous year had more grass and nice pathed area around caravan so more attractive.

Weve now stayed in three lil lodges - number 9 (twice), 7 and 2. They are in a lovely part of the park, near to the main facilities but in a nice wooded area, quiet and private
Samuel, Lincoln

Date of stay: 14th October 2017
Lovely caravan. Couldn't fault although we wish we'd booked a 3 bedroomed caravan to give our 2 teen girls more space!!!
Very clean caravan with lovely fixtures and fittings.
Central heating was good, sometimes a bit too hot though and we were a little confused as to how to regulate it!!!
Very good inexpensive holiday if self catering and not using on site shop, bar and restaurant!!!
Jill, Wallasey

Amazing, honestly cant fault it . Maybe a shelf in the shower to keep your shower gel & shampoo in but I'm nit picking .

Nick, Reading
Date of stay: 30th June 2017
L'il Lodge was much bigger than we expected, particularly as there was only 2 of us. The kitchen and living area was very spacious and a lovely decking to sit out on that was protected from rain. Lodge was clean when we arrived.
Margaret, Grimsby
Date of stay: 26th June 2017
fantastic lodge all our requirements met
Date of stay: 23rd June 2017
Overall very enjoyable.
There were a couple of dirty towels with stains stored in the kitchen cupboard but apart from that everything was spotless.
Date of stay: 9th June 2017
Great accommodation. Just a couple of niggles - the thermostat on the fridge freezer didn't seem to be working properly so our fruit and veg froze in the fridge. There also wasn't a vegetable knife provided but we managed with what we had. Overall I was really pleased with the accommodation and would book this again.
Angela, Awsworth, Notts
Date of stay: 2nd June 2017
It was definitely worth paying extra for this caravan. The welcome pack was a particularly nice touch. Could have happily stayed longer.
Carol, Barnsley
Date of stay: 22nd May 2017
The oven took twice as long to cook in than it should have done.
Elizabeth, Nottingham
Date of stay: 22nd May 2017
Nice lodge apart from shower. Nice surroundings, easy access to other places
Lewis, Notts
Date of stay: 19th May 2017
Was lovely. Just the position of the main bedroom Window being on the main road to the new park reception.
Linda, Lincoln
Date of stay: 19th May 2017
The holiday itself was relaxing and enjoyable. I would return again.
Janet, Newark
Date of stay: 15th May 2017
The caravan was lovely, spacious and covered our catering needs. It was predominantly clean, but little things like dirty windows and litter on top of wardrobes was a bit of a let down. Also, 1 loo roll for 4 women for 3 nights was a bit stingy! Lucky we took our own!
Not 'moaning' as everything else was BRILLIANT! Just making observations.
Michael, Ipswich
Date of stay: 1st May 2017
Again excellent accommodation
Jeanne, Yaddlethorpe Lincolnshire
Date of stay: 29th April 2017
As a couple with one Miniature Poodle we find this Lodge just perfect in every way. Sited in a pleasant area in the Park, with table and chairs on the decking. Plenty of indoor space with all amenities. Heating and hot water first class. Near enough to entertainment area and cafe, shop, beautiful lakes and woodland walks. The natural wildlife with ducks, geese, swans, birds and trees, plants and also formal gardens and walkways made every day so pleasant. We just keep thinking what a lovely Country Park Tattershall is and look forward to going again, hopefully soon. The whole area is so well mentained and the staff cannot do enough to make you feel so welcome. A friendly greeting and a ready smile always.
John, Suffolk
Date of stay: 28th April 2017
All the furnishings and fittings were in excellent condition and there was a welcome kitchen pack (sponge, cloth and washing-up liquid). Despite the cold spell in April, the caravan had excellent central heating, lots of hot water and an electric fire. The main bedroom was spacious and the bed was firm but comfortable.
Stephen, Heanor , Derbyshire
Date of stay: 24th April 2017
Could not fault anything on our stay , caravan was brilliant , facilities brilliant and plenty of places surrounding tattershall to visit ,either by car or on foot , will definitely be returning at some point

Date of stay: 31st March 2017
Caravan was lovely and the welcome pack was brilliant... Should tell people that the switch near the door is the master switch as the lovely security lady had to tell us when I called her out. She was brilliant... Cleaners just need to clean the ceiling lamps in lounge as they were disgusting! Caravan was fab overall...

Date of stay: 12th August 2016
Great holiday...lots to things do for kids of all ages, however we went during summer holidays and most activities were fully booked. Make sure you book everything before you arrive. The playarea is great for little ones and the artificial beach is superb. We stayed for 4 nights and didn't need to go out of the park.
Connie, Grimsby
Date of stay: 29th July 2016
The reason we gave a 7 for furniture and fittings was because we had a faulty boiler and had to take cool showers for the first 2 nights.
Jimmy, Leicester
Date of stay: 29th July 2016
Caravan was very tidy and had more than enough room for a family of 4 very comfortable and good value for money.
Julie, Tyne &wear
Date of stay: 29th July 2016
The Windows where very dirty and it would have been better with nets up as everyone walking past was looking in ,on suite was full of cob webs but these where just little things that did not spoil our stay at Tattetshall .

Rachel, Accrington
Date of stay: 22nd April 2016
Very pleasantly surprised by the size and comfort of the lodge given the price we paid for it. Large double room and large single room with bunk beds. Room for children to play in the bedroom.

Slight niggles - there's only 3 chairs around the dining table which meant we couldn't all sit around the table to eat a meal.

A little lacking in cutlery and crockery - literally 4 of each so if you want plates for serving food you struggle.
Stephen, Thrapston
Date of stay: 22nd April 2016
Excellent log cabin .

The lodge was lovely. The position was fab and we could watch the water sports out on the lake. Short walk to all the amenities. Shame there wasn't a cut through to the castle as we could almost touch it from where we were. Everything you needed was provided. Beds were comfy.

We absolutely love Tattershall Lakes. The staff are always so friendly and keen to help and they went out of their way to make us feel special when they found out we had chosen to stay there while we got married. The site is always so well kept, it really is beautiful.
This was our second visit and we will be back again for sure. Thank you.

The park was very quite and well laid out. The caravan was clean and very well designed.
This was partially a business trip over the weekend and quite hectic, so it made our stay a lot more pleasurable to be able to come back and relax. One of the most spacious and relaxing caravans we have ever stayed in.
Gillian, Manchester
Date of stay: 20th July 2015

Date of stay: 20th July 2015
The caravan was amazing. Well equipped and very well stocked. The welcome pack was delightful. The caravan was clean, luxurious and perfect for our last minute break.
Roger, Nottingham
Date of stay: 13th July 2015
Stayed for a 3 night weekend with our 4 grandchildren ( 12 , 11, 10 and 5 ). The caravan was clean and comfortable with good quality appliances and comfy beds.
It was very busy, as you expect at a July weekend, but everybody loved the activities, entertainment and making new friends. We even managed to catch 9 fish, not very big, but good fun anyway.
The staff are excellent, and we would recommend Tattershall, especially if you have youngish children to entertain.
Stephen, Hastings.
Date of stay: 5th June 2015
The lodge is comfortably furnished throughout.

Tracey, Hull
Date of stay: 8th May 2015
The lodge was spacious and relaxing. We really enjoyed staying there.
Lesley, London
Date of stay: 31st October 2014
The lodge was lovely but one repair that stood out was the kitchen worktop which was a nice walnut brown and had been repaired in white tape. The main bathroom had a musty smell to it all the time which was not due to wet towels.
Laura, Bury St Edmunds
Date of stay: 31st October 2014
The lil lodge was warm and cosy for our October half term break, lovely inside, far more comfortable than a caravan with proper sofas and decent beds. Outside could do with a bit of sprucing up and couldn't open the patio doors onto the veranda - not really an issue in October so didn't affect us.
Paul, Ditchingham
Date of stay: 31st October 2014
great,comfy caravan.
Rachel, Birmingham
Date of stay: 27th October 2014
Great holiday and place, however lIghting near lodges was very poor and my mum had a fall, twisting ankle, injuring knee and hand.
Marilyn, York.
Date of stay: 3rd October 2014
Wonderful, we have normally had caravans the lodge was so comfy and clean it was like being in a five stare hotel, loved it.
Julie, Bradford
Date of stay: 12th September 2014
Had to get the cleaners in as not done properly
Sandra, Haartlepool
Date of stay: 23rd August 2014
Would reccommend the lodge to any one. And we will be returning in october hope we get the same lodge
Teresa, Lincoln
Date of stay: 22nd August 2014
Caravan was as described and on the whole clean - just rads in bathrooms had condensation rust - hence 9/10 rather than 10. We were situated opposite children's park and was noisy at times - also noise from cabaret loud at times. Booking for activities could be clearer - maybe a separate booklet with more details in would help. However all staff very willing to help with all aspects when asked. Queues at guest services each time I needed to use with only one member of staff in attendance - however staff member was extremely helpful and polite (Zak) suggest maybe more staff at peak times or back up system when one is taken away to sort out bike hire etc.
Date of stay: 18th August 2014
Excellent weekend, beautiful caravan and a lovely park. Brilliant
Karen, Doncaster
Date of stay: 18th August 2014
A wonderful peaceful break, lovely surroundings and caravan was really nice. Disappointed hairbrush at leisure centre private bookings only and swimming pool was uncomfortably cold which was obvious to life guards as everyone was commenting. overall though we loved urbane would definitely return
Louise, Newark
Date of stay: 8th August 2014
We had a great time, it was school holidays so was really busy and the pool was full. Could probably have some activities and entertainment based on adults, maybe you do out of school holidays? The only fault with our lodge was there was cobwebs, windows needed cleaning, but overall had a great time plus the weather was brill.
Melanie, Crewe
Date of stay: 2nd August 2014
The caravan was spotless and was really roomy. The only down side it backed on to the through road so got a little noisey in The morning. The park had plenty of facility's for all age groups. Kids thought it was fantastic and have asked to go again next year.
Allison, Snainton
Date of stay: 25th July 2014
Lovely lodge, but more storage in the 2nd bedroom would be nice, along with hooks on the backs of doors!
John, Wootton Wawen, Warks
Date of stay: 25th July 2014
A relaxing holiday in lovely surroundings. We appreciated Tattershall Castle being so close. We even had free afternoon air displays (though daily jet flights might get annoying when the novelty wears off).Very comfortable caravan.

Date of stay: 28th June 2014
The decking was great we sat out there at 5 in morning and at night it was cosy. The lodge was lovely great lay out nicely decorated very special. It was that great we looking at buying a lodge and deff go there when book next holiday.
Janice, Lowestoft
Date of stay: 27th June 2014
Lovely lakeside setting, reasonably close to places of interest in Lincolnshire maybe a little too close to the RAF base, we were pleased to be on a short break rather than complete week because of the aircraft noise.
Appeared to be new furniture in the lodge. Good space between lodges.
Very happy with takeaway food, though a little pricy.
June, Mid Calder
Date of stay: 16th June 2014
Ideal accommodation for 4 adults.
Sharon, Nottingham
Date of stay: 28th April 2014
Lovely spacious comfortable lodge. I would advise people to take a bath mat and oven glove. I wish I had taken them. There weren't any.
Lovely location lots to do in surrounding area. Park kept clean. Caravan also spotless with everything you would need. Highly recommended for all ages.
Had a lovely time. Children really enjoyed the activites that we signed them up for and the staff were fantastic. There was a great gluten free menu in both restaurants so I had no trouble finding something I could eat - we even had gluten free pizza to takeaway. I do think most of the accommodation is very expensive. We stayed in a comfort caravan which was clean and comfortable but no heating in the bedrooms
On arrival we were upgraded to a TriBeca caravan. This was really very good and really made the holiday special.
One of best places I have stayed at.
Go 3 times a year kids love it
Amazing place really enjoyed our stay hope to come back soon
I enjoyed my time but would have liked the pool to have open for longer. Overall, it is a fantastic site!
Fantastic lodge great price had a fabulous weekend loved Tattersall lakes

There are many animals to see including ponies and piglets which the little ones love.  There are also some amazing birds from hawks and falcons to owls.  Most aspects of this attraction are included in the admission cost and as well as wandering around you get to hold and feed the animals too.  A real highlight are the micro pigs which are just like real pigs but in miniature.  Fully grown they are around the size of a spaniel!  If you get hungry then you can take your own picnic to the picnic areas or head for the tea room selling delicious food and children's meals too.

Awarded the Lincolnshire Family Attraction of the Year award in recent years this fun day out is recommended. You can see seals and penguins, as well as other animals in the popular pets corner.  Feeding time for the seals and penguins is the real highlight of the day. Entertainment, education and conservation are the main aims of this attraction. Natureland's work with abandoned baby seals has become known worldwide and it's carefully researched rearing and treatment program is now used by many other rescue centres.

Wow this is an amazing family theme park and you will probably need the full day to experience it all.  From thrilling rides to family shows, kids of all ages are catered for.  Some of the most popular rides include the Obliterator and The Pendulus, not forgetting the Hypoblaster.   Family shows are entertaining such as the African Acrobat Show which is back by popular demand.  Entrance tickets are good value and if you book online you will receive a discount. To save even more money if you live locally or are visiting the area for a few weeks you could buy a season ticket for around £50 which will allow you entry for the whole season.

Centred around a Tropical House in an amazing jungle like setting this is a really unique attraction that will appeal to families.  In the Cleethorpes area of Lincolnshire it's easy to get to and offers a fun yet educational experience.  Referred to as the number one attraction in the area highlights include capuchin monkeys, meerkats, ring tailed lemur and for the children African pygmy goats.  The tropical house features Red Eared and other Terrapins from North America and goldfish amongst other things.  We think The Jungle Zoo represents excellent value for money too.  We recommend a whole day to explore this attraction and ensure you get to see all of the animals resident there.
