Will definitely be returning, cannot fault Highlodge, relaxing for both of us and my partner enjoyed shooting every day.
The lodges are beautiful, a king size bed would be nice but apart from that couldnt fault them.

We like the large comfy bed, the warm & cosy lodge, and then peace & quiet. (Clay shooting, in daylight, hardly noticed, and not a problem for us)
Location is great for pubs, coast, and interesting places like Southwold, Snape, & Aldeburgh.

Whilst the WiFi was stable, and 'adequate', it was quite slow (3-4 Mbps).
Be aware that depending on your network (Virgin Mobile in our case) you may not have a signal at the lodge.

A lovely lodge with lots of home comforts. We could have just stayed in the lodge for the whole holiday and never leave. It had everything we needed and the hot tub was a real treat.
The only critisism is that on the day we were leaving, the window cleaner arrived before check out time while we were still having a shower and getting dressed, which was a bit of a shock. It would be better if window cleaners could arrive after 10am (checkout time).

Clean Comfortable lodge - good relaxing break. One small suggestion - bed could do with a new mattress as not very comfortable. Also Oven not very clean.

Claywood Lodges is a small quiet development in a very pleasant location. The lodge was spotlessly clean, well furnished and with good towels and toiletries. The hot tub was most enjoyable, sheltered from wind and fairly secluded. One small improvement would be provision of some additional kitchen facilities e.g. a dish-draining rack and pan scourer, for those who are happy to self-cater.

Booked a one bedroom lodge for a week in March and were not disapointed. The lodge was spotlessly clean warm and well equipped with everything you need including a welcome pack on arrival. The hot tub was immaculate and well maintained....perfect for relaxing in the evenings watching the stars. Lovely surroundings and a very good restaurant. Staff very friendly and helpful....we had a fantastic week and can't wait to return.

Overall, a very high standard. However, lots of cobwebs on outside windows - so wonder when they were last cleaned? We also had a blanket on the sofa covering up some worn areas, which wasn't great.

Fabulous mid-week break in this beautiful lodge. This one had a balcony at the back too which offered stunning views & was more private than the seating area facing the club house. We were very impressed & will be looking to book this lodge again.

The lodge was clean, spacious, comfortable and very well equipped and appointed.
The hot tub is fantastic - the best we have used, at a constant temperature all the time - and the coffee machine is a nice treat.
