Everything was just perfect there were a few bits of dust and fluff in the lodge but it was minor. The facilities in the lodge were better than anywhere else we've stayed, particularly enjoyed the welcome pack with plenty of beverages and biscuits. Lovely not to have to take towels and because of the dishwasher you could get by on the one tea towel provided.
Jacqueline, Fairford
Date of stay: 22nd September 2018
Excellent time, pity about the weather when the storm hit. Was actually rather disappointed with the towns on IoW, they are very run down and tatty, no shopping and very little to do considering they are seaside towns with lots of visitors every year.
Heather, Bury St Edmunds
Date of stay: 21st September 2018
Coastal Retreats was our perfect holiday destination. The Lodge was ideally set and located in such a way that you felt completely private. The lodge was well equipped, the hot tub was good, but the thing that completely took our breathe away was the view. We could see out across the Solent all the way from the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth to the entrance to the port of Southampton, magic! We didn't explore as much as we usually do because we were quite happy to sit on our veranda and watch the boats go by and enjoy the sunshine. We found it all very relaxing and just what we wanted.
Christopher, Byfleet, West Byfleet
Date of stay: 21st September 2018
The lodge is a little tired with stain marks in the bathroom. The main windows viewing out to the Solent were smeared and dirty. The staff were very quick to come and clean them for us. The deck was not swept as there was a lot of detritus, leaves etc. but then it is under a tree, but you would expect it to be swept to start with. The outside table had dried milk stains in the weave of the table top.
Apart from the above all was very good. I don't think we would use the jacuzzi, the main draw for the lodge was the view. Very clean and tidy apart form this.

Pleasant and enjoyable stay. Overall clean but a bit more attention to detail needed (e.g. behind doors, under toilet rim, under table, limescale in kettle, etc)

Amazing tranquil resort!!
(Unfortunately our last night was spoilt with neighbours raving into the early hours, but reception were also very annoyed when a few of us reported it so hopefully taken some action & solved the problem so as to keep their great reputation!) You can take a 2 minute walk through a lovely little wood to get to the bar/restaurant & the kids can all run around & play on a large open grass area! The beach is quiet & peaceful, but you're only 10-15mins drive to a seaside resort!! Lodge was great, all home comforts & more, only gave it a 7 though cus after the 2016 refurb the ensuite floor was lifting & sharp in areas & kickboards in the kitchen kept dropping down!!! & then an 8 cus value for money a bit expensive as my Mum & Dad stayed in exactly the same lodge but with out the hot tub & it was a lot cheaper!!! Restaurant very nice, not extensive menu then had ran out of 3 items we chose, so thats the only reason gave it a 7! Otherwise it was all very good! Lovely relaxing holiday, we all had a great time (boys too) & would definitely come back again!!
Nicola, Priors Hardwick

I thought that the accommodation could have done with a deep clean, it really was quite dusty. Also the furniture was a little tired, could do with a bit of a make over.

We did however love our vacation.

Good but could be better, this is meant to be luxury lodge, looked shabby in places. You would not be allowed to take pets into luxury hotels, should use selected lodges for people who take pets, this would probably keep others in better condition.

The lodge was brilliant but the cleaning was not up to standard.

We had a couple of issues but it did not detract from the quality of the lodge! When we arrived the power went out but was quickly rectified once we had a telephone signal to call reception! Also on the rainy days our tv kept losing its channels
But once the wine was open and the hot tub in use all of our worries went away!

Really enjoyed our time there & would come again. It would have been nice if there was a few more facilities, maybe a shop to buy your essentials as when we got to the lodge the milk in the fridge was already 3 days out of date. The slats in the beds kept coming out & we kept having to make emergency repairs!

Date of stay: 14th August 2017
Extremely impressed with the accommodation, surroundings etc. The only reason I cannot give the highest marks overall is very poor information provided in the visitor information book provided in the lodge. Opening times of onsite facilities (e.g. restaurants), price list for Spa or even phone numbers of these facilities missing from the booklet.

Date of stay: 5th August 2017
The lodge itself was very clean, well equipped and spacious for our needs. The only minor observation is that the bathroom is a little 'tired' looking and not quite up to the standard of the rest of the lodge.
We would definitely consider it again for a relaxing family type holiday.
Emma
Date of stay: 31st July 2017
We have just returned after spending a wonderful week at Woodside Coastal Retreat. We stayed in the Carisbrooke Premier Lodge and I can honestly say that I have rarely visited a hotel or caravan where the pictures in the brochure really portray the accommodation in its true light. However, we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived that it was exactly how we expected it to be. There were lovely little touches to make us feel at homes such as milk in the fridge, a selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate and locally crafted biscuits. Perfect after spending a day on the road travelling.

The lodge itself was spacious. The Bedrooms were all of a good size and the beds were wonderfully comfortable! Each room had a tv with Freeview, which was a bonus so that the kids could take themselves off and chill out on their own.

The Hot tub was gorgeous! The children took several dips a day in it and I loved chilling out in it after they had been dispatched to bed. The bathrobes were a nice touch and there were plenty of fluffy towels provided so that we did not need to use the ones that we had brought along from home.

The kitchen has everything you could need to make your meals, including a wide selection of utensils and pots and pans. There were plenty of glasses and mugs too. I loved the fact that there was a dishwasher as who wants to come on holidays to be stood by the sink washing dishes? The wine holder was already in the freezer chilling when we arrived. They had definitely covered the essentials :)

I do have a suggestion that is in no way a criticism of our stay. We thought that a mop could come in useful as the floor can get very wet at times when everyone is using the hot tub. I would have liked to have been able to just mop up the water rather than use a towel but it really is a very small niggle.

All in all, we had a wonderful stay. We love the IOW and this is hands down the best time we have had. If you are looking for full on action packed days, with lively nights then Woodside is not for you. But if you are looking for a relaxed, easy pace of life spent reconnecting with family then you should definitely consider Woodside for your next family holiday.

We look forward to visiting again!

Thank you for a wonderful holiday.
The reception at the Coastal resort was fabulous... great welcome & even received a call to tell us our lodge was ready.
All cooking utensils provided, lovely clean, soft linen & towels provided in all bedrooms, along with fluffy dressing gowns.
Wonderful views and a fully working hot tub waiting for us.
Will definitely return here.

The only thing that let us down, was two men suddenly appearing on our private balcony... unannounced on the day of leaving about 8:45am, before we were due to leave at 10am. They started draining the hot tub & refilling it for the next guests...wasn't impressed at all.

My young son (who has special needs) was very distressed by this, as he had just got out of the hot tub and wondered who they were.

Mentioned to reception upon checkout, who said they shouldn't have done that, but will look into it.

Apart from this, this was a fabulous stay & will definitely return.

Beautiful holiday! The lodge was lovely although for a family of six we struggled for frying pans to cook breakfast in quantity that was my only criticism. Everything was there for our comfort and the Hot Tub was amazing and spotless as was the lodge. Beautiful surroundings with beach and woodland walks! Will definitely be back!

Date of stay: 12th May 2017
The lodge was the best we have ever stayed in - modern, clean, spacious, well equipped. Heating, cooking and hot water was free. There was a veranda with seating and a table. However being close to trees this tended to get birds mess on it but we managed to use it when the weather allowed. The lodge was close to the Solent and beach walks. Also woodland walks. 37" TV in lounge and smaller ones in bedrooms. A games console was also provided (Wii). Overall would definitely recommend if you like a little peace and quiet and comfort.
Michelle, Kent

Dawn, Milton Keynes
Date of stay: 27th March 2017
Excellent accommodation with the added bonus of having a sea view. Only issues with accommodation was firstly it was very hot as heating seemed a bit hit & miss. The other strange thing seemed to be the choice of very"distressed" furniture with peeling paint. Seemed a strange choice & we found it became a hazard to our small children who took to pulling it off & trying to eat it.
Beverly, Lincoln
Date of stay: 20th March 2017
The only downfall was that we were a party of 4 adults and the two single beds were very small! Other than that, wonderful.

Date of stay: 13th February 2017
Excellent lodge, very very clean and tidy with a few new nice touches. Coffee biscuits and milk etc. Only one small niggle was the hot water would not fill the bath or both showers and taps could not be run the same time this would cause the shower/s to go cold.
Beds were lovely and comfy
Layout of lodge very nice, the one we stayed in had a good sea view.
Hot tub was fab Great fun!
We will be going back

Our first experience of Ho Seasons in the Isle of Wight was great. It was our first holiday with our new dog (Dobby) and all three of us enjoyed it.

The private beach around the back of our lodge was a great space for the dog!

The lodge itself was lovely, a nice kitchen/living room space and comfy beds. Couldn't ask for more really (though would love to book a place with a hot tub next time).

A lovely spacious lodge with all amenities and comforts.

Lounge area and kitchen was spacious and light ...and very cosy.

Very happy with the site and cabin with 2 reservations.
On arrival, the Jacuzzi was only heated to 28 degrees and took until the following morning to get up to working temperature. On a 3 day break this was disappointing.
Food in the on-site restaurant good and waiting staff were keen but they would benefit from more training.

Date of stay: 2nd September 2016
All in all my family and I had a fantastic holiday. The accommodation was fantastic, we had a sea view which was incredible. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The location of the retreat is great, and could be easier to get to from the Fishbourne port.

The hot tub was amazing, and is the main thing that my children have been telling everyone about.

The on-site restaurant was surprisingly excellent. They have quite a small menu, but what they do serve is very good, and would definitely recommend it. We did not manage to go to the two al-fresco restaurants but heard that they were good also.

I only have two minor only gripes. One was that it took 3 days to get a plug in the bathroom so my son could have a bath, this was despite daily phone calls reception to remind them. Secondly the WIFI is not very good (I appreciate this is quite often the case in most hotels) but we were not even able to stream Netflix or iPlayer. That said, there was more than enough to keep the kids entertained with the lovely touch of board games and a Nintendo Wii.

Hopefully we will be back soon.

Regarding the accommodation, despite not expecting to get a sea view, we did get this in our lodge set further back from to beach - lovely. Some furnishings were a bit grubby (cushion seating around dining table, settee seating). The welcome box and pint of milk in the fridge were a nice touch.

Date of stay: 29th July 2016
The lodge hadn't been properly cleaned prior to our arrival. There were urine stains on the toilet seat and floor of the bathroom, sticky patches on the kitchen and dining room floors and the dining room seat cushions were filthy. The terrace was covered in sticks, leaves and bird droppings.

We spent our first morning cleaning the place - we didn't expect to have to do that for what we paid.

Date of stay: 12th June 2016
The lodge had everything we needed including lovely white fluffy towels. These were rather heavy when wet, however, and nowhere to hang them to dry (towel rail not big enough) so no alternative to draping them about the place! Also rather disappointing that the decking and furniture (apart from hot-tub itself) was dirty and dusty - had to ask for table + chairs to be cleaned before usable for meals and the decking itself was not cleaned at all.

Just a small note, the booking was for 4 adults and the lodge had 1 double and 1 twin room, the single beds in the twin room are not really suited for adults especially if you are tall.
Other than that the lodge was an excellent place to stay.
Ali, Hertfordshire
Date of stay: 25th April 2016
The lodge is absolutely amazing - clean, tidy, spacious and provides everything we needed for a three night break, even dishwasher tablets.
We stayed for my mum's 60th birthday and she loved the feeling of luxury the lodge provides and the fab hot tub.
My whole family (1-63!) had the best time and would recommend highly.

Date of stay: 28th March 2016
Our second time staying here, and loved it just as much. It's a lovely setting and the lodges are clean, modern and well equipped. The only thing we would ask for is a small play area for the children, just a slide or a swing, although saying they loved the woodland walk, the beach and going on their scooters. I would highly recommend this place.

Date of stay: 21st March 2016
We visited during March, the place is very well looked after and felt like a luxury lodge. The provided a free welcome pack which included tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, water, milk, dishwasher tablet, washing up liquid and sponge, all this was very handy when you've just arrive after a while traveling. The lodge was clean and warm, had a combi-boiler, hot water on demand. We were lucky to have TV in every bedroom although we didn't use them, a large TV in the comfortable living room with a blu-ray player and PS4, all this is a bonus if you stay for a while and aren't very lucky with the weather.

I have only given an 8 because the cupboards in the kitchen above the sink unit are too high. My wife if left on her own would not be able to reach to open and definitely not to close them. Otherwise I could not fault the accommodation!

Booked again for November and have asked and been given the same lodge
Hoping to grab a bargain in July for 20th anniversary as quite prices then but out of season it's a bargain
Even though this is a dog friendly lodge it's still as of a high standard as the others and immaculate in and out
Very clean and being as I have a phobia about cleanliness I looked for faults and found none!!!

Great location superb views. Perhaps if being critical the lodge was small and more compact than others we have been too.

Disappointing that the hot tub wasn't available for use when we arrived at 4:00pm. We had to wait for it to be emptied and refilled this took until 8:40pm !

We loved our stay at Woodside costal retreat, the lodge was gorgeous, the setting was beautiful, we loved the jacuzzi and would absolutely stay again, we would have liked a bit of information in the welcome pack on local things to do and what was available to do on site, or perhaps a folder could be placed in the accommodation of places to visit, local restaurants, takeaways, parks, walks etc...

A great lodge and retreat and would come back again. I was quite surprised at the lodge it was furnished very well indeed. I know you read reviews that say things like this then you turn-up and you are disappointed - but its true! The only thing is that the place needs more baking trays to support large numbers for meals.

On the whole holiday was good, however we were not told of the building site just down the road which was havoc on the roads and also scratched my girlfriends new car because the road into the complex was so bad. We love the Isle of white so we would return but probably find something different.
Leslie, Southend

The chalet was very comfortable and warm and was well equipped.
There were a couple of fittings which needed a little attention. Unfortunately we omitted to mention these when we left as we should have done.

The lodge has everything thing you need to get you started. You won't need to take washing up liquid or a dish cloth and tea towel as they are provided (new) Just remember if your going to use the dishwasher to take some tablets (you are provided with one) They also have a Cafetiere so don't forget your fresh coffee.

Loved the hot tub.

It is not walking distance to the main street/pub.

I have read a few reviews on the cleanliness! The only problem we had was the table! It had clearly not been cleaned, the rim under the table had food marks and the table itself wasn't clean, along with the table mats!! But that was all.

The lodge itself was beautiful, peaceful area.

Our lodge was very comfortable and the standard of cleanliness (very important to us)was exceptional ,all equipment tv s radios etc were all in working order without us having to "tune things in" or readjust you just had to switch on whatever you wanted to use .all fixtures and fitting are of an extremely high standard

The lodge was lovely especially the hot tub, the view of the beach was lovely
Carol, Hyde
Date of stay: 11th September 2015
The lodge was first class, the hot tub and outdoor furniture a luxury we enjoyed. However, we expected details such as spare toilet rolls, more than one dishwasher tab, a more functional drainer for washing pots. Also, although there were ample towels, there wasn't a bath robe for everyone and one towel was stained. Crockery was very minimal also. The welcome pack was a nice touch.

Luxury lodge adjacent to beach in secluded woodland. All the mod cons: coffee machine, dishwasher, washer dryer, BBQ, grilled, PS2 and DVD player. A car is definitely needed as the lodges are a fair distance from the main road which has a small parade of shops which includes a Tescos Metro.
Would definite book again.

Truly great accommodation with amazing views of Solent (lodge 26). Very clean and well equipped lodge with quality outside seating.
I missed not being able to have a BBQ but can understand why not with all the plastic decking etc. maybe have a BBQ area ?
For all that the lodge was amazing, not sure it fully justified its price.
Susan, Birmingham
Date of stay: 14th August 2015
The lodge itself was pretty faultless, clean, tidy and everything you would need inside and out. Lots of light switches, which took a while to get used to. The robes were handy with lots of towels, although there wasn't anywhere to hang them to dry. No hooks on the bathroom door for example.

The lodge and it's location were perfect for our first holiday to the Isle of Wight. We were after a quiet location to spend family time together and this holiday matched our needs. The lodge layout was big enough for our family of four and grandparents. Little touches like the welcome pack on arrival and the family games were well received but the clear favourite was the hot tub with the pink ducks. We would highly recommend this holiday and we will be returning.

What a fantastic stay. We had a bit of a fight with the staff when we first arrived as they had only supplied us with two robes between four adults and argued that that was all we were entitled to. Anyway it was all resolved in the end and they came up with two extra robes. The double room with en-suite bathroom were lovely but the twin room was a bit small and pokey. I suppose this is designed with having two adults and two kids in mind and who cares about kids. You cant even push the beds together to make a double as there was a metal frame around three sides of the beds so had they been pushed together you couldn't of got in or out without climbing. The kitchen was fitted out with everything you needed except a grill pan. However once this was mentioned to the staff they got us one the next day. The hot tub was brilliant and absolutely made the holiday. It states in the rules that you are not allowed to have food and drinks around/in the hot tub so if anyone was spying on us those glasses of Prosecco were fake. One major disappointment was not being allowed to have a BBQ. This is because the decking and log cabin are made out of wood looking plastic and i suppose they don't want little melted holes dotted around. Still, despite this we would go again. Well we would if the exact same holiday was still around the same price, however to go again next year at the exact same time would cost us an extra £700. And there was me thinking that we were in a negative inflation situation. The beach is ok but isn't a nice classic beach with sand, it's mainly pebbles unless the tides out and everything seems to be a bit of a drab brown colour. The road from the main road that people moan about is not that bad and as long as you take the speed humps on the approach road very slowly you will be fine.

Our lodge was right at the front of the park with amazing views over the sea. We had everything we needed in the lodge, the beds were comfortable and everything was maintained to a high standard.
The hot tub was amazing after a long day sight seeing.
One of the only negatives we found was the lodge slept 6 but you only get 1 parking space outside, we had to park our 2nd vehicle away from the lodge up near reception.
Overall though we had a lovely relaxing break and would certainly return

Large, spotless - everything appeared to be brand new. Complete kitchen - it had everything and more. Very comfortable. TV's in almost every room; really useful when little grandson appeared every morning at 6am with a cheery "Good morning Nanny, good morning Granddad!" He'd hop into bed and on would go channel 5 giving us another hour to wake up!

Date of stay: 27th June 2015
Lovely lodge with nice views but tree right in front of the lodge, although nice and makes it all rustic etc was a pain. It made the veranda shady which is nice in some ways but the dropping of the leaves made it unpleasant if you wanted to sit out to eat and also leaves falling into the hot tub and leaves over the veranda. When we arrived it looked as if the leaves had not been sweap away for sometime. Apart from that a lovely lodge with all nice extras to give you the home comforts. Would stay again.

What a beautiful luxury lodge, with absolutely stunning views across the Solent. When we first entered the lodge, the view was the first thing we saw and it took our breath away. We had a lovely terrace to sit on and watch the ships go by. The interior of the lodge was beautiful too and the decor was very appropriately done in a seaside theme. The lodge was well equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay and the welcome pack was very generous. We didn't want to leave!

We had a wonderful 4 day weekend trip to the Isle of Wight staying at the Woodside Country Retreat. Our two children (aged 4 & 2) adored the location and our little 2 bed lodge. The only thing they missed on site was some sort of playground facilities (or possibly a swimming pool). We managed to keep them distracted by taking them down to the beach while the tide was out searching for seashells. The lodge was beautifully furnished and a welcome recluse after a tiring day out visiting the sights. We cannot wait to go back!

A beautifully equipped and comfortable lodge. Sitting in a hot tub overlooking the sea was most definitely the highlight! The only downside for me was access to the retreat...a car is most definitely needed as it is very out of the way and using public transport is not an option, and the road to the retreat is fairly poor! Otherwise, a fantastic and relaxing break!

Date of stay: 17th April 2015
The lodge was very nice, we would definitely go back. I have tried to justify why I've marked a few items down.....frustrating as it could have easily have been straight 10s.

Cleanliness; It had been cleaned before we got there but it felt like it was performed to a time limit, the skirting boards needed to be vacuumed as well as the edges of the carpet. The windows could have done with a clean, as well as the edges of the shower...but that really is me nitpicking. The bedding was crisp, clean, and comfortable. Kitchen was spotless.

Furniture & fittings: The sinks in the bathrooms lead to this being moved to a 9. They are annoying, style over substance, the taps wobble about (because of their design), useless if you are trying to shave. The kitchen, lounge, and dining area were all very well equipped.
Shona, London

The lodge was excellent with all the modern facilities you would expect. Perfectly maintained. clean and well equipped. Just perfect accommodation let down only by the site on which it is located. Lodges are too close to each other, packed in like an old caravan site layout, end-on to the view.

lovely accommodation and lots of nice touches, plenty of equipment for cooking etc. and the freezer was good to have, loved that it had a bath as well as showers. Plenty of space and very comfortable and warm in the lodge and quiet too. Nice quality bedding and comfortable and good sized beds and lots of storage, big wardrobes and cupboards etc.

Not much in the way of down sides but would have liked the hot tub to be hotter and this could be a reason to choose somewhere else to stay, although we would like to stay again so please can you sort this!

Stayed here for a weekend and absolutely loved the lodge & area. We didn't have a car but it wasn't too far to walk to the nearest tesco & chippie. We got a taxi from the ferry port which was reasonable & the drivers we're pleased with the new road leading to the site which had been very bad before. The lodge was stunning with all we needed & we spent quite a bit of time in the hot tub. The lodges are close to each other but we didn't hear any noise so it wasn't a problem at all. Will definitely be returning for some more peace & quiet. Would bring all my children although the site doesn't have any activities for young ones.

We went for a family weekend break in march, 2adults and 2 boys, 3 and 7. We arrived late and had to ring the out of hours number the guy was very friendly and had left every thing in our lodge and gave us directions to our lodge. It was absolutely beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. The surroundings were gorgeous and looked out over the sea to the mainland. We couldn't fault this place or the lodge. It had everything you needed even a washing machine! We had bath robes loads of towels and a welcome pack with tea coffee biscuits hot chocolate and also we had a little pack of a dish cloth, washing up liquid dishwasher and washing machine tablets. The lodge was ver warm well eequipped with games and a game console. The hot tub was beautiful and very warm and the outdoor furniture was also very lovely. Like I say can't fault this place we will definitely be returning its stunning.
Hans, Isle Of Wight
Date of stay: 23rd March 2015
They are new, they are clean, but best of all, they are ever so slightly more spacious where most lodges skimp on it: the bedrooms. Thus making it a near perfect lodge.
Yes, it has a fake fireplace where some lodges have a real woodburner, and it was a very skandi/white decor compared to those lodges that give you more of a log cabin/full-on sauna feel, but all that is mostly a matter of taste and preference.
Lastly, this was our first experience of a real 'Jacuzzi ' hot tub (we have been in many tubs by other manufacturers), and we were all agreed that this was the best one we have come across.
Overall, top marks !

What a wonderful place to stay , the accommodation was superb, the hot tub was excellent even in March !! The staff are very helpful, the beach is great, I am going to book again for next year.
The speed humps could be lowered as a fully loaded car will scrap its exhaust but this did not spoil the holiday and i have already recommended Woodside to two friends and i am keen to return.
Thanks for all the effort your team made to make this one of the best places we have ever stayed in!!

The chalet was nice enough, with mod cons I hadn't expected such as a washing machine & dishwasher for those staying longer. Hot tub on the verandah was a lovely addition, and definitely worth upgrading for. The chalet also has possibly the best shower I've ever experienced! The only reason I gave it 8 for cleanliness was that we could well have been the 1st guests of the season in that particular cabin, so the kitchen was a little dusty. Otherwise superb

Everything was great with the lodge it was comfy an very well equipped , the only reason for the mark down on cleanliness was because the table wasn't wiped down and place mats were sticky from last users. The lodges are lovely as they are new this year, There is not much privacy as the lodges are close together & the bedrooms have clear glass in them & look straight into the lodge next door so the blind was down all week. I only found the hairdryer on the last day as this had been out in a drawer by the bed & not in the dressing room area, The only draw back to this resort is the long unmade road to get to it and by the end of the week we had had enough of venturing out. It would be nice if reception kept a supply of bread & milk to avoid going up the road to the Tesco express.

Beautiful lodge with excellent facilities. Let's hope they stay as lovely - we did our best to help. We didn't use the wii (only one game) but we did play Trivial Pursuit. A mat by the door onto the decking would be good. Only very minor niggle was some food remains in the bottom of the dishwasher.

Beautiful lodge . We go away in lodges 3/4 times a year and this is one of the very best we have stayed in . Lovely location near to he sea and lovely and peaceful site and yet so much to do on the IOW within easy reach . Our boys , studying at nearby Portsmouth Uni , even popped over on the hovercraft to see us .
Extremely clean, very friendly and helpful staff. Nice welcome touches .
Only negative was the view from the master bedroom (lodge 1) - looked out on to gas cylinders , feel this should be screened off . Also slightly annoying having to keep asking for internet passes as the password they give only suitable for one applicance and with 3 teenagers they needed lots of internet access to do homework . Have booked again to stay in February but chosen a different lodge. and will ask for 10 internet passes on arrival !! Looking forward to another lovely stay.

Visited the Carisbrooke Premier Lodge in October; as an 'escape' type holiday for 4 nights. We experienced a very private; luxurious holiday will everything your'll ever need provided within the cabin, oven, microwave, dishwasher, dishes/cutlery....fantastic.
The hot tub was the main attraction and was kept hot 24/7; maintained well and made a good end to the evening!.

As we wanted an 'escape' holiday and did not want to be disturbed by cleaners etc...this holiday was perfect as you are left to your own devices.

10/10 on all counts. Enjoy your holiday if you decide to go!

Stayed in Number 23 which had a extremely beutiful view across the solent. The Osbourne premier lodge was just perfect, the furniture and equiptment was of high quality and stylish and the lodge itself was extremely cozy, we cant wait to go back. The beds were so comfortable, the bed sheet material was so soft and comfortable as were the pillows, best nights sleep for as long as i can remember, my partner agrees. The Hot tub was perfect, larger than expected which was a pleasant surprise, very high quality and very clean. Cant wait to return! Just hope they fix that road soon!

On the whole the lodge was well equiped with good furnishings. The only observations we would like to make is that it is a bit tight on space for the large sized dining table. A tray would be helpful to carry cups out to the balcony.

Gorgeous accommodation , very tasteful . Lots of lovely little touches such as the little washing up pack, board games and the ducks etc. we had everything we needed. Plenty of towels and robes were lovely. Only negative was the bathroom in main room had some mould on the ceiling which smelt a little bit. Otherwise were very impressed with everything.

Loved every minute of our time at woodside, lodge was immaculate and had everything we needed from champagne glasses to a monopoly board!! There were no other facilities on site in the way of activities however, if you are looking for a total chill out this is the place to be and definatly in the Osborne premier lodge!!

The lodge was amazing. From first walking through the door we were very impressed. The kitchen was more equipped than my own home! Furnishings were clean and comfortable. A flat screen TV in every bedroom and in the living area a DVD player and Wii which was advertised has being available so a bonus. The hot tub was sooo relaxing (even in the rain!) an was inspected and cleaned every day. I will definitely be back and I only hope that over time people don't ruin it!

The lodge is great .... the only issue we had is that the lodge was advertised to have slippers and dressing gowns. There were no slippers and only two dressing gowns between three adults although this didn't spoil the break if we had known we would have took our own.

Unfortunately, there was a problem with Southern Water supply but the site supplied us with plenty of bottled water for drinking. We could not use the Hot Tub for 3 days which was a shame because it was the highlight of the evening when the kiddies were in bed,

We had a fantastic lodge with paio doors opening onto a decking area with direct views of the beach and sea - looking back across to the south coast. The lodge was spotlessly clean and had everything you would wish for in terms of furniture and appliances and wall mounted TV's in the lounge and each bedroom. We would go back again - as long as we got the same view !

Date of stay: 26th July 2014
As above August prices way too high for us, which would be the most likely time we would be looking to go, but rest of year seems fine. The price we paid was much better. It was spotless, equipment and toiletries etc supplied are very good quality. Very nicely set out. One tiny niggle was the indoor dining area quite tight for eight people. Could of done with the kitchen being a tiny bit smaller and then the dining area a bit bigger. Venetian blinds throughout would be better too for privacy as lodges overlook each other

We thoroughly enjoyed our week stay. Accommodation was perfect for a family of 4. We enjoyed the hot tub and made the most of all attractions around IOW. My one suggestion would be somewhere for breakfast on site? We will definitely be returning!!
Nicola
We had a brilliant time 2nd week of the Easter holidays even though the weather wasn't great. Boys, aged 10 and 6 loved the hot tub. The lodge was spacious, well equipped, clean and in a great location, tucked away but close to everything north of the island. Nothing is far on the island anyway. Would book again and recommend to others, didn't both us that there wasn't any entertainment on site and loved our sea view
Laura
Lovely lodge in a great location. Very clean and tidy and big enough for 8. Slightly disappointed with the restaurant offering.
Jeffrey
Spent a week on coastal while having work done on my house I was very happy with lodge it was spotlessly clean and well maintained.I decided to stay another week but I had to move to woodland once again I was very happy with the lodge the only minor gripe was the TV on this park it is an interactive system and it was very poor in that you could not receive a lot of the channels and a loss of signal happened continuously the maintainance man said it was a poor system other than that I have not complaints at all I would highly recommend the site
Christine
What a lovely few days away with the family in this very comfortable lodge. We all loved it and the surrounding area. It is the first time we have been to the Isle of Wight and will be back again.
Howard
Fantastic location and 5 five minuets from the ferry terminal. Beautiful surroundings and the lodge was comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff were all absolutely magnificent and I couldn't praise them more. Thank you all for looking after us when my Dad had a stroke and the offer of free accommodation.
