We checked in just before 4pm, check in staff were lovely and helpful. Bar area very reasonably priced. We drove to our lodge and had a look round, tv unit thick of dust, the lodge needs lots of tlc. Vinyl wrapping peeling off cupboard doors and doors not on the hinges properly. Blinds full of dust. Previous peoples shopping in freezer. Its clear that cleaning staff are not doing a thorough job and maintenance need to fix issues in the lodge. Hot tub, decking and view are amazing. Ive noticed that next year is a ridiculous amount for peak season, I would not pay that and would be disappointed, would return if lodges are updated to match the big prices.

The lodge itself is in a perfect setting but needs some minor repairs in some areas due to the volume of usage. It doesn't detract from a wonderful stay at a great location

Lodge is dated, it didn't appear to have been cleaned. Food drums on the sofa's and around the kitchen table, hairs in the bedding and floors were dirty. There was a lot of cutlery missing from the kitchen. Windows and doors dorty, don't appear to have been cleaned.

Lovely little retreat without the hustle and bustle of larger sites. The lodge was a good size for our group and would easily accommodate 4 adults and two kids in 2x double and 1 x twin rooms. As with all rented holiday accommodation, don't expect the Ritz, you are going to get a few scuff marks here and there, but the lodge was well equipped and our needs were met, very plug and play. The outside is peaceful and the deck area with hot tub coupled with the sounds of nature was just great. Overall a great comfortable bolt hole to explore the island from.

We were a three-generational family of four. We all enjoyed the accommodation and surroundings. Anything we needed was available. A little disappointed with the beach but that didnt matter. Wi-fi went off after a storm but it was fixed fairly quickly.

The lodge we were in was very battered and in need of some well overdue maintenance. It was clean but all the little things that make a stay feel "premium" were just missing completely. We were in a pet friendly lodge but none of the issues would've been pet related. The flooring in the bathroom was all peeled and worn, the shower in the en-suite didn't drain well so a lot water built up in the shower tray. The dishwasher was missing the wheels on the bottom tray and didn't wash well. The kitchen cupboards were worn and outer coating was peeling badly, in some parts totally torn off. Not major things as the lodge was clean and fit for use but it just wasn't the "premium" feel you would expect when booking a premium lodge.

Lodge itself was ok, however we were unable to open balcony doors due to lost keys by previous tenants. Even though it was reported and checked by nice handyman nothing was done and we couldnt use our lodge as we would like to. Not sure why but even though bedding looked fresh, there was a sand in there. Overall we are really happy and happy to come back next year, hopefully to better and cleaner lodge.

The accommodation was awful, very tired needs a massive overhaul, curtains were mouldy, patio doors didn't fully work. The coffee table and dining table were all extremely shabby and sticky, the dining chairs and table legs all had paint coming off them (basically more paint off than on). The main bathroom was damp and smelt extremely damp, the tv in the second bedroom didn't work, there were cobwebs everywhere. The ensuite bathroom door framework was mouldy. I could go on, only positives from this were the reception team rang to say the accommodation was ready early which was a plus and very friendly. Location is great. I had been checking the reviews the week before we left so had kind of prepared myself, if my children had not been adults I would of requested to move. Paid a lot of money for something that is very run down. The hot tub cover was patched up with different things, but it was usable.

We spent a lot of money on a weekend away and when we arrived our lodge was filthy, beat down and missing several items. The dining table was extremely sticky as if it hadnt been cleaned, the windows were filthy and the en suit smelt like damp. Wallpaper is peeling from the walls and the bed had no enders which was actually quite sharpe. Quite disappointed as our last stay the lodge was much nicer. If we had paid less completely understandable. We had 1 drinking glass, 2 forks (lodge sleeps 4) The biscuits which were with the tea set were out of date and some of the dishes we got out of the cupboard to use were filthy
