Located between the historic towns of Rye and Hastings, Winchelsea Sands is the perfect base to embrace the region’s history and its many attractions.

Not that you need to leave the park as we have everything you could wish for right here, including a fantastic entertainment venue (busiest at weekends and during the summer season), and a beautiful outdoor swimming pool.

If you do leave the park and go exploring you will be spoiled for choice.

There are lovely beaches located nearby (the stunningly sandy Camber Sands is particularly popular), perfect for those who enjoy soaking up the rays, building sand castles or long leisurely walks by the sea.

Or you can explore the nearby nature reserve with its amazing views and wonderful range of English wildlife, particularly its stunning variety of birds.

The caravan felt very new, and was really comfy, but the tops of the cupboards were thick with dust so maybe someone needs to give it a deeper clean occasionally.
Emma, Barnsley
Date of stay: 1st November 2019
Comfortable stay, friendly staff, would recommend.

We stayed at Winchelsea Sands and it suited us pretty well. Wouldve loved an outside table and chairs though, as it wouldve made eating outside nicer. The pools a bit small, only fits about 45 people, so we had to leave after an hour. Still, we really enjoyed our 4 days there!

We loved how cosy and warm the caravan was-it really felt like a home away from home. The only downside was the TV kept scrambling late at night, which was a bit annoying.

We had a lovely break here, perfect spot near the pebbled beach. Not much on-site, but a great base for exploring East Sussex.

We really enjoyed our stay. The caravan felt so roomy, perfect for four. The big TV and kitchen made everything easy and comfy. Wed definitely come back!

We really enjoyed the Gold Plus 2 caravan, it was cosy and comfortable. The only issue was the size of the bedrooms, they felt a bit cramped for us. Next time, well choose a bigger one for more space!

Really impressed with the caravan, everything feels br and new. The inside is spacious and well-designed, making it super comfy. We didn't have any issues and the build quality seems top-notch. Its perfect for our trips, especially since its so modern. The service from the seller was friendly and helpful too. Overall, were really happy with our purchase, no regrets! Definitely recommend if you're after something fresh and reliable. Just wish wed bought it sooner, honestly, its been great.

We recently stayed in this caravan and found it really stylish and comfy. Its quite modern and looks great on the outside too. The only downside was the storage - the bathroom only has a tiny shelf for toiletries and the double bedroom is pretty cramped with no drawers. The twin room has even less space, so we had to get a bit creative with storage. Still, overall a nice place!

We had an amazing time! The weather was just right and the caravan was spot on. At the end, I realised Id left my phone charger behind. I called reception and Wendy was so helpful - she found it and sent it to us. Cheers, Wendy!

We had a lovely family break! The parks really nice and the location is perfect.

Date of stay: 15th June 2015
We had a lovely stay! The caravan was spotless and really comfy, making it easy to settle in. The staff were super friendly and polite, which made everything smoother. We enjoyed the short drive to Hastings, Rye and Camber Sands - perfect for day trips. The beach at Winchelsea was nice, but those stones mean you need closed-in beach shoes. The club was a nice surprise and the live band was a highlight. Parking was a bit tricky sometimes, especially if it gets busy, but overall, wed definitely come back!

The new updates really do make the site look much better now. Plus, the mattresses are so comfy - weve noticed a real difference! Its great to see improvements happening, were quite pleased overall.

Date of stay: 20th March 2015
The caravan was pretty comfy overall. The lounge and kitchen had loads of space, but the bedrooms and bathroom felt quite tight. The cleanliness was decent, but the kitchen couldve been tidier - we had to wash the utensils before using them. Still, not bad!
Rachel, Whitstable
Date of stay: 26th September 2014
We found everything fine in the caravan, apart from the bed which was really noisy because of the base under the mattress for some reason. However, once we got settled and comfy, we managed to have a good night's sleep!

We had a lovely family-friendly time here! The staff were so friendly and really made us feel welcome. The children's entertainment and activities were excellent, as were the entertainers themselves. The pool was great and again the staff were really fantastic. Overall, we would highly recommend this site and we will look forward to staying here again.

We had a great time at the park! Our only complaint was the limited parking. At most places we visit, you can park right next to your caravan, but that wasn't the case here. There just about seemed to be enough spaces available!
Paul, Bracknell
Date of stay: 8th August 2014
The staff were really lovely and the pool guy was great! The clubhouse was just the right size to keep an eye on our child but still spacious enough to have some fun. The sea was close enough to get to, as was Rye.
