The mattress was quite firm, which might be a matter of personal taste. The heating control was a bit tricky, took a while to adjust. Otherwise, all good!

We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this place if you want somewhere peaceful but still close to a lively town like St. Andrews. Cycling into town was a breeze thanks to the nearby cycle path, which made exploring really easy. Even with Covid, the hot tub and sauna were open and the staff kept everything spotless with daily cleanings. Overall, a great holiday and were already thinking of coming back soon!

We had an absolutely lovely stay at St Andrews Forest Lodges. Booking directly with them really pays off because theyre so attentive to what we need. The little first foot gift was a charming touch and a perfect way to wrap up 2019 and kick off 2020. The lodges are super well-equipped - honestly, we didnt even feel the need to go out for days. When we did decide to explore, St Andrews was just a quick taxi ride away. Plus, we got a great takeaway recommendation that was delivered. Cant wait to come back!
Harper, Glasgow
Date of stay: 30th December 2019
Overall, we had a pretty good stay. The place was enjoyable and comfortable. The only hiccup was when we arrived late; no clear info was given about which lodge we were assigned to. We had emailed ahead and were told the manager had our details, but there was no note on the reception door. We had to find a phone number on the paperwork to confirm. Not the best, but apart from that, it was a nice experience!
