We spent a week here in July with our two little dachshunds and honestly, the dogs had a blast making friends in the charming village of Thaxted. The cottage itself is quite delightful and the hot tub was a real treat, especially during the scorching weather when the water stayed cool and refreshing. The hosts were super friendly and made us feel really welcome; it was nice to see them taking their dogs out to the fields daily. Being near Stansteds flight path was actually quite fun to watch the planes arrive. Wed definitely recommend it!

We just got back from a really nice four-night break at this cottage. The owners are super friendly but not in your face, which we appreciated. The big fenced garden was perfect for our dog to roam freely. The place had everything we needed, including a BBQ for one evening. The hot tub was absolutely brilliant! Were already telling friends about it and would definitely come back. Thanks for a lovely stay!
