Honestly, the sofa wasn't as comfy as we'd hoped for relaxing or putting our feet up. Plus, the grass patch on our plot was more of a muddy mess, so our dog couldn't really enjoy it either.

The prices seemed steep, but honestly, so is everything these days. Luckily, all the essentials were covered for the stay and the Prosecco was a lovely surprise. Fingers crossed prices drop soon though!

We recently spent four nights at the Wolds View Lodge and honestly, it exceeded our expectations. The lodge was way nicer than we thought - the quality and finish were top-notch. Weve stayed in a few lodges before, but this one definitely stood out, especially because of its layout. The open-plan kitchen and living area made everything feel spacious and cosy at the same time. It was perfect for relaxing during the snowy days and we felt right at home. The patio doors opened onto a lovely garden area, which looked perfect for summer - shame we didnt get the weather for it! The location was spot-on too, with plenty of scenic walking trails nearby. We also found loads of pubs, restaurants and shops within a short drive. We had a fantastic meal at the Wheatsheaf in Kirk Ella - highly recommended and its dog friendly too. Honestly, I cant think of much to suggest for improvement - maybe having a pub or restaurant on-site would be handy, so you dont need a taxi to go out. All in all, a brilliant stay!

We've visited twice now and honestly, the staff are always so friendly and willing to help, which makes a big difference. Our first stay was in lodge 62, which was spot on and the second time we stayed in 21b. That location was perfect for us and our dog, plus the garden was secure and lovely. The lodge itself was a bit tired-looking, with tatty cushions, worn wallpaper and skirting that could do with some TLC. The bath was fantastic, though! Wed definitely return but probably pick a different lodge next time, just to avoid the slightly run-down feel of 21b. Overall, a really nice place to stay.

We had an amazing stay at the lodge! Everything was spotless and felt br and new, from the soft furnishings to the kitchen appliances-really top quality stuff. The outdoor area was a real highlight, especially the cabana bed and hot tub, perfect for relaxing. The brick BBQ was handy too. Our dog loved the little extras like the outside tap for muddy paws. Weve already booked to come back next year, cant wait!

Weve stayed in a few lodges over the years, but Spa View Lodge definitely tops the list for us. The space inside is really generous and the view over the fields is just lovely - its so peaceful, perfect if youre after a quiet getaway. The hot tub? Absolutely brilliant! We spent quite a bit of time relaxing in it. Theres a charming Tearoom on-site with a good selection of food and drinks, plus a small shop in the reception area for any last-minute bits you might forget. If you need more variety, the local supermarket isnt far away. The staff are genuinely helpful and friendly, which makes everything even better. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!

Spa View lodge is Lodge is our favourite lodge from the two we have stayed in over the years. The lodge is spacious and the view is lovely out across the field. If you want somewhere quiet and peaceful this is the place for you. The hot tub is fab too! There is a Tearoom on site and a small shop within the reception area if you have forgotten anything. It is only a short drive to the local supermarket if you need variety of products to purchase. The staff on site are very helpful if ever you need assistance and the Tearoom is a pleasure to go to and good choice of food and drinks and they do offer a takeaway service.

We had an awesome time at this lodge! It really had everything we needed and honestly, its probably the best one weve stayed in so far. The only downside was the sofas - a bit on the uncomfortable side. We missed out on outdoor seating because of the cold, but the hot tub more than made up for it. Overall, a fantastic stay and definitely worth recommending!

We stayed at this new lodge and honestly, it was spot on. Very clean and nicely arranged, with both bath and shower options. The large smart TV was perfect for us, mainly relaxing, watching films and enjoying the hot tub without any hassle. Brilliant break!

We just got back from a really nice four-night stay at this cottage. The owners are super friendly but not at all intrusive, which was great. Our dog loved the big fenced garden - perfect for him to run around. The place had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and a BBQ for the evening. The hot tub was fantastic! Wed definitely come back and already told friends about it. Thanks for a lovely time!

We stayed at this lodge and honestly, it lived up to the reviews. The rooms were spotless and roomy enough for everyone. The bath was perfect for relaxing after a day out and the double shower was a nice touch. The kitchen had everything we needed, plus fun extras like the coffee machine and air fryer, which was handy. The living room with its big sofa and TV was super comfy. We loved that the dining table could turn into a pool or tennis table-such a fun idea! Outside, the hot tub, seating area and BBQ were great. The woods nearby made for lovely walks to the tearoom, where they serve the most delicious cakes. Well definitely return!

We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge. The place was lovely, though the settee was a bit uncomfortable, but it didnt spoil the break at all.
