Visitor Reviews of Lime Tree Park

We had a really pleasant stay at this cosy little lodge. Its super clean and feels very welcoming right from the start. The bed linens were already laid out when we arrived and the heating plus the gas fireplace made it feel extra homely. Its in a handy spot too, close to a big Morrisons and a petrol station, so grabbing supplies was easy. The location is also great for exploring local attractions. We did notice some traffic noise early mornings since the lodge is near the road, which didnt bother my partner but was a bit disruptive for me. Also, the amount of toilet and kitchen roll was quite limited - we had to buy more after a day. Wi-Fi only in the reception area, which was a bit of an inconvenience, but overall, we enjoyed our stay!

We really appreciated how spotless the caravan was and loved the cosy bedding. The kitchen had plenty of utensils, which was handy. Only thing is, with just one oven shelf and tiny tray, meal prep could be a bit tricky sometimes, but overall, we had a great stay!

We really appreciated how carefully everything was handled given the current situation. The staff gave clear instructions, which was helpful. The cleaning standards were top-notch, making us feel quite at ease. Having the car was a lifesaver - my wife and sister-in-law would have found walking to Buxton quite tough!

We stayed at Ashwood House in Lime Tree Park last weekend and honestly, it ticked all the boxes. The place was super spacious, spotless and in a prime spot just minutes from town. The park was lovely and the onsite farm shop was a lovely bonus. The fact that the properties dont overlook each other makes it feel private. The staff we spoke to were really friendly too. Perfect for couples or families - wed definitely come back!

The caravan was really lovely and super clean, which we appreciated. The little touches, like the floral duvet covers, made the place feel warm and inviting-much nicer than your standard holiday van. Wed come back!

We had a lovely stay at the lodge; it felt really homely and was spotless. The staff were friendly and showed us straight to our holiday home, which was a nice touch. The views from the lodge were absolutely breathtaking-really memorable. Its also super handy for exploring Buxton and all its attractions. We grabbed some delicious pasties and pies from the farm shop on site, which was a bonus. The only downside was the approach road-it's a bit of a race track with cars zooming past at crazy speeds on that narrow lane. More visible signage would definitely help, especially for first-timers!

We stayed in this spacious detached cottage and honestly, it had pretty much everything we needed. The two big double bedrooms and the ground floor shower room made things really convenient. The upstairs bedroom with the dormer was lovely and the extra WC/shower was a bonus. The kitchen was well-equipped, though we did notice no scissors, just a bunch of knives! The oven and extractor werent straightforward at first - it took us a couple of days to figure them out since theyre much more high-tech than our own kitchen at home. The fridge freezer, induction hob, microwave and the utility with washing machine and dryer were all great. The WiFi dropped after a rainy night, but the staff on site were super helpful and sorted it quickly. Overall, a lovely place!

We found the space a bit tricky, especially with the large kitchen table. A coffee table would have been handy since there was enough room. Passing by the stools was a bit tight at times, though!

We had a great time in the caravan! Its surprisingly spacious inside, even though it doesnt look it from the outside. Everything was spotless and well stocked, making our stay really easy and comfy. Perfect for a small family or friends. Definitely recommend this place for a relaxing break!

The caravan was really cosy and spotless, honestly! The site itself was well-maintained, super tidy and the staff couldnt have been nicer or more helpful. Only downside was the occasional noise from boy racers, which slightly dampened our stay.

We had a lovely stay at Goddard's Mead! Rob and Sharon really put a lot of effort into converting this historic place and it shows. They were so welcoming from the moment we arrived and Bonnie was adorable. The location is perfect for exploring Essex, especially if you enjoy wandering around charming villages like Thaxted. The house itself is comfortable and peaceful-a great spot to unwind. Definitely recommend taking some time to explore the local area!
