Really enjoyed our stay, the bed was super comfy and the lodge was spotless. We did notice there was no iron, but we just chatted with the host about it-no worries! All in all, a lovely little getaway, would definitely come back again.

We really enjoyed our time in lodge number 1. Its quite spacious and nicely decorated. The kitchen had all the essentials-fridge, freezer, washing machine, you name it. A couple of issues, like the waterfall shower head wobbling and the hose being loose, but otherwise everything was spot on. Definitely recommend and would come back!

We had a great time! The place was lovely, super posh and really well kept overall. The bed was so comfy and the hot tub lights at night created a lovely vibe. There were a few cobwebs on the decking, but nothing major. We also enjoyed chatting with our neighbours. Thanks a lot!

We recently stayed at this lovely place and overall, it was just what we needed. The view from the cabin was stunning and the hot tub was definitely a highlight! That said, there were a few small issues that stopped us from giving a perfect score. The advertised luxury toiletries were nowhere to be found, which was a bit disappointing. Also, the Wi-Fi claim was a bit misleading since there was none available. When we opened the dishwasher, the wooden panel kept falling off, which was a bit annoying. The freezer drawers were pretty stiff, probably because it needs a good defrost and we noticed some dirt on the dressing gowns. The bedding stitching was coming apart, with holes in it, so that could do with some attention. We also spotted some tools outside the cabin, including a jigsaw blade, which we thought shouldve been removed. Still, we enjoyed our stay overall!

We had such a lovely stay! The lodge was spotless and decorated really nicely. The hot tubs were checked and cleaned every day, which was great. Staff were super friendly and polite, making us feel really welcome. Plus, there was a surprise bottle of wine waiting for us-such a nice touch! The WiFi worked perfectly everywhere. Well definitely be back!

Honestly, we had such a lovely stay! The view from the hot tub overlooking the donkeys and alpacas was just perfect for unwinding. The location is truly picturesque and the accommodation is really top-notch. Little touches like the toiletries in the spotlessly clean bathroom, plus the complimentary wine, made it feel extra special. The kitchen and lodge facilities exceeded our expectations, making our stay even more enjoyable. We had to leave a day early, but Maureen was incredibly helpful-she came straight over when we texted last minute to sort out our deposit and check wed had a good time. Wed definitely recommend this place!

We had such a fantastic time! Stayed for four nights and honestly, we wish wed booked longer. First time in a lodge and it definitely wont be the last; were already thinking about more UK lodge breaks. The staff were lovely, the lodge was spotless and the location was just stunning. Sitting in the hot tub at night, enjoying the wildlife, was a real highlight. Can't recommend it enough!

We really enjoyed our stay overall, the lodge was lovely and the setting was perfect. However, we did notice some cleanliness issues like hairs in the shower and dust in the corners of the living room. Still, it didnt ruin our trip!

We stayed at this lovely lodge recently and honestly, it was mostly great. The place itself is stunning-beautiful surroundings and a really cosy feel. However, the organisation side of things could definitely do with some work. When we arrived, there was no info on how to get through the gates, which was a bit frustrating. We had to ring a number and wait about 20 minutes before someone appeared to let us in. The staff member was friendly enough and showed us to the lodge, but then we werent given a key straight away. We had to call again to ask where it was and only on the second day did we receive one, meaning we had to leave the lodge unlocked when we went out-which isnt ideal. Also, the instructions for the gates were a bit lacking; we called the number again and were given a code, but nobody mentioned the option of using a fob, which wouldve been much easier. The staff on the phone werent the friendliest either-they sounded rushed and a bit rude, which was a shame because it made us hesitant to call back. Things got a bit more awkward when a staff member just walked right into our lodge with two other guests, saying, Oh, why are you in here? We felt a bit uncomfortable, to be honest. Overall, the lodge itself is lovely, but the organisation and attitude of some staff need to be improved. Still, wed go back - just hope they get the admin sorted out!

We recently stayed at this lodge and honestly, the setting was gorgeous - loved the view of the countryside and the donkeys and alpacas in the field behind. It really is a peaceful spot. The lodge itself was quite nice, tidy and well-kept, which we appreciated. However, we did run into a couple of issues that dampened the experience a bit. For starters, the check-in process wasnt very warm or welcoming. The staff member was on the phone when we arrived and didnt seem particularly interested in helping us. When we wanted to check out early at 8am, he told us wed need to wait an hour for him to arrive - never come across that before! We ended up just dropping off the keys, but honestly, if early check-out isnt possible, they should probably mention it beforeh and.One thing that bugged us was the lack of a DVD player, despite it being advertised. We couldnt find one anywhere, so maybe its just an oversight. The kitchen was somewhat disappointing too - the dishwasher was still full of the previous guests clean dishes and there was an open bag of chips in the freezer that probably shouldve been thrown out. The tumble dryer was also full of damp towels, which was a bit frustrating. On the plus side, the lodge had a washing machine, so we managed to dry towels that way. The headboard in the bedroom was loose from the wall, which made the room look a bit less cared for, but overall, the lodge was clean and presentable. The site itself is still under construction - we werent aware of this beforeh and, so passing the building work every day was a bit of a nuisance, though it didnt really spoil our stay. There are signs for a woodl and walk, but when we followed the path, it just led into the woods and stopped abruptly, which was a bit of a let-down. Looks like that might still be a work in progress. All in all, we think its a lovely lodge with lots of potential, but a few tweaks could really make it top notch. We also felt a bit unwelcomed by the staff, which is a shame because the setting is fantastic. With some improvements, Im sure this place will be brilliant when everything is finished!

We had a pretty good stay overall. The lodges are well equipped and comfy, though being semi-detached meant we could hear some neighbour noise. The hot tub was a real treat after braving the cold walks. We loved spotting the wild donkeys and rabbits. Definitely coming back, just might check the lodge more thoroughly when we arrive!
