Where's Jaybelle Grange Lodges?
Mrs Walker
Jaybelle Grange were recommended to us by some friends and we were not dissapointed. We booked a Willow Lodge as we liked the idea of having a hot tub and it was a good choice. Walking around the site though all of the lodges look very nice. Littlehampton is really easy to get to and has some nice places to eat and drink.

The lodge was very comfortable, warm and clean. The only downer was road traffic, in the early hours of the morning the noise and head lights shine directly into the bedrooms, so take earplugs. We always try to book a lodge with a hot tub, so worth it, it warmed us up after the cold days.

Date of stay: 10th September 2018
Very surprised at how well we adjusted to the Lodge .We thought it would feel too cosy .
This was very comfortable ,well proportioned and had all we wanted . As a two bed two
bathroom lodge and just the two of us there it gave us the comfort and space we wanted .
May be the answer is to book a bigger space than you really need .

We recently stayed at Jaybelle Grange Lodges with our two young boys for our Summer break and had a brilliant time. The lodge was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed; even a washer and a clothes drying rack. The lodge was the perfect home-from-home with cosy, stylish interiors and modern facilities.

If we had to mention anything that wasn't ideal it was the wifi which we found was very hit and miss however if you're there for a holiday, you don't need the wifi!

Couldn't fault the place, was lovely and clean. As we were a group of 6 adults there was plenty of space for us.
Date of stay: 9th March 2018
A very pleasant stay in a well appointed lodge. Leaking shower valve and bulbs not working in cooker hood reported to lodge management at end of stay. I assume not fixed before we arrived because previous residents didn't report them. Did not detract from enjoyment of stay.

Date of stay: 3rd January 2018
Upon arrival to the site we were extremely impressed, it is so well maintained and well kept with not a thing out of place. We checked in with ease and completed the necessary paperwork and were handed the keys to our lodge.

We stayed in lodge number 2 which is an oak lodge with an outdoor hot tub. Every lodge has its own block paved parking area which is particularly handy for the winter months. The lodge was immaculately clean inside and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, it looks exactly like the pictures on the website! They had even put up a christmas tree which i thought was such a lovely touch.

The master bedroom has double bed with bedside tables complete with lamps eitherside and a clock radio....the first place iv ever stayed with one as i personally hate not knowing the time when i wake up. There is a dressing table with drawer space and mirror with a hair dryer. It has a large wardrobe and shelving unit so plenty of room to unpack. There is also an ensuite shower room.

The main bathroom consists of a bath (no overbath shower) which isnt an issue for a family. One thing we forgot to tell them is that the lock didnt work on the bathroom door but maybe they will read this! In the hallway by the front door is a washer drier, ironing board, hoover etc. Also coat hooks on the wall which is useful in the winter.

The twin bedroom had a bedside table between the beds with a lamp and also a large wardrobe so again plenty of storage. The living area was very cosy with reclining sofa, wall mounted tv, plasma fire and coffee table. Behind the sofa is a dining table with doors opening onto the veranda.

Finally the kitchen is very well equipped, it has a fridge and seperate freezer, dishwasher (tablets included) oven amd hob, every size pan and oven dishes that you could need along with every utensil you could think of. There were a selection of different size glasses and plenty of cutlery and crockery. They provide tea towels, washing up liquid, sponge and cloth. I had taken all of this with us after previous experience of self catering accommodation but didnt need to. Also all bed linen and towels were provided too. Everything you need is supplied!

The lodge has its own decked veranda with outdoor furniture and the hot tub.....the reason that we booked! We spent many hours in it over the 4 days and it was so relaxing. We had a slight hiccup with it on the first day whereby we had pressed too many buttons and it stopped heating. I went to speak with Paul the warden who came straight over and reset it. We had discovered a button sequence that had put it to sleep.....just our luck! You only need to press the jet button as everything else is preset, just a little tip so noone else makes the same mistake we did. One improvement that could be made is to make the area around the hot tub abit more private/secluded as you can see the entire site meaning that everyone can also see you.....being close to the entrance we had people walking past having a nose when you are laying there trying to relax in your bathers. Our daughter loved the hot tub too and couldnt wait to get back in as soon as she got up in the morning!

There is a pub called the oystercatcher just outside the site (you go through their carpark to enter the site) so was a minute walk. We went for a meal and a couple of drinks on new years eve which was really nice and reasonably priced. There is a large tesco about a 5 minute car ride away.

All in all, the lodge was beautiful, exactly as the pictures on their website, immaculately clean and fully equipped complete with lovely hot tub. We will definately return and highly recommend it!!

This park was very good, quiet and small, suited us perfectly. Paul who greeted us on arrival was friendly and very helpful. Lodge extremely clean, well equipped and maintained. The site is neat and well cared for. We stayed in an Elm Lodge No12, without a hot tub. Area nice, South Downs, several National Trust places, great stay, will return. We were given some park rules on arrival as mentioned in other reviews but nothing unreasonable for this quiet site.

This was our fourth visit. We are already booked for our next visit. The lodge was very clean and comfortable and up to the excellent standard we have come to expect at Jaybelle Grange. The site managers Madge and Paul always make one feel very welcome, and go out of their way to make sure we have an enjoyable holiday. The site is very clean and well organised.

Lovely place home from home if not better! A really comfortable lodge, managed to get in earlier and was helped out with any problems very quickly. Verandah could have been a bit more private as did put me off going in hot tub! Would love to go again.

By far the most luxurious lodges we have stayed on at a holiday park.
Lots of interesting places to visit nearby.
Well worth recommending to friends etc.

Date of stay: 27th August 2016
Thoroughly enjoyed this holiday.
Only downside was the busy road with traffic noise at the back of the lodge.( a wall was due to be built to hopefully block out this issue).
Ideal place to stay if you want to explore along this coastline and surrounding areas.
Trips to West Wittering beach and Chichester were our favourites!
Lindsay, Leeds
Date of stay: 13th August 2016
The lodge was very nice and well kept in a small site.
Date of stay: 29th July 2016
The lodge was fantastic although a little more privacy around the hot tub would be nicer for lodge number 2 as all the lodges are close together and this lodge faced towards all of them and people entering the park could see you in the tub. There is noise from the main road to be aware of.
Date of stay: 13th June 2016
When i turn up to the lodge i was greeted by a really nice down to earth man and didn't straight away judge me just because i was with 2 other lads, people forget not all young lads together will play loud music till the early hours and trash places, we entered the lodge in complete shock to see how modern and clean it was 10 out of 10 was just brilliant!!!!!!!
Simon, Horley
Date of stay: 3rd June 2016

Denise, Sunbury-on-thames
Date of stay: 3rd June 2016
We have stayed at these lodges several times but I have to say that there has been a big difference since Madge and Paul have been the managers. The little touches as in the toiletries in the bathrooms, towels are now provided, there are toilet rolls in the bathrooms and the kitchen supplies. Also I must mention the grassed areas which I believe Madge has taken over with the beautiful flower beds. Nothing is too much trouble for this couple and I hope they continue to be at Jaybelle Lodges for many years to come.
Maureen, Bexleyheath
Date of stay: 27th May 2016
excellent lodge and great bus service, pub very handy and nice food, overall would recommend to friends.
Date of stay: 9th May 2016
The lodge is modern, spacious and in good condition. The hot tub was lovely and was serviced every morning by the site owner.

Generally the stay was excellent but we would recommend the following to improve the stay: providing an extra set of towels for the hot tub, improving the knives in the kitchen and providing information on recycling.

Very comfortable and clean . Only small problem was dishwasher not working but Paul and Madge tried everything to sort out for us . Being New year they couldn't get people out to look which is totally understandable. Washing up was only thing we had to do on our relaxing break so not an issue .

Date of stay: 17th October 2015
The lodge was spotless. The seating was very comfortable, as were the beds which were made up ready for our arrival. The only downside was the slow running hot water when filling the bath, but thanks to the combi-boiler it was always hot. The central heating, when needed was excellent. The hot tub on the veranda was always on, clean and a very relaxing experience. Having two bathrooms, one with a shower was an added bonus.
This was definitely the best site and lodge we have ever stayed in.
Kristian, Hadleigh
Date of stay: 5th October 2015
The Oak lodge we stayed in was faultless and defiantly one of the best accommodations I've have stayed in. A very large lodge, clean, very well decorated and modern, the hot tub topped off how nice this lodge was. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We left something behind and they contacted me straight away so could come back. Couldn't of asked for a better weekend there. Will definitely be heading back next year. Thank you.

Date of stay: 14th August 2015
Visited Mon- Fri and despite arriving early were warmly welcomed and advised our lodge would be ready for us at 2pm instead of the usual 4pm. Paul and Madge the owners were friendly, helpful and lovely throughout.

The lodge was faultless. Very large, very clean, very well decorated. Loads of storage space in all bedrooms and 2 general use cupboards in the hallway as well. Well equipped kitchen with full size fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher and oven. Washing up liquid supplied but no dishwasher tablet and no "welcome tray" for a cuppa on arrival but seeing as there is a Tesco 3 minutes away this wasn't really a problem. (Tip - I did a click & collect order at Tesco but I'm told they deliver to the lodges as well)

Beds were comfy with lovely crisp white bedding and plenty of towels. The master bedroom had a huge walk-in wardrobe which you walk through to get to the en-suite, and I was delighted with the lovely dressing table and stool next to a power socket and mirror, perfect for us girls who love to do our hair and make up!! Would have liked a TV in the master bedroom though.

The hot tub was probably the best I've ever been in, and Paul comes round twice a day to check it

No noisy clubhouse or pool onsite so it's nice and quiet but there is a pub next door, The Oystercatcher, which was closed for refurbishment when we arrived but opened on the Wednesday, we went for an evening meal and it was fantastic (tip - if you're going to eat there, Google the Gourmet club, sign up for a 3 month trial which will cost you £1 and you will get 25% off your total food & drinks bill)

All in all we had a wonderful stay and are looking forward to revisiting again very soon.
Paula, Benfleet Essex

It's better than my home, loved it!
David, Thompson
Date of stay: 29th June 2015
I have only one gripe, the lodge sleeps four and provides two bathrooms, one with a bath and one with a shower. The hot water system cannot provide water for both and once. The shower would work better if it was electric.
Brian, Norfolk
Date of stay: 26th June 2015
The lodge we stayed in was probably one of the best accommodations we have stayed in for years. It was extremely spacious and exceptionally clean. We could not have asked for more. The site was also well kept and the on site staff very friendly. The only downside is some noise from the nearby main road. We made use of the pub just outside the main gates of the site which served up some very good meals.

Date of stay: 10th April 2015
Our villa had a few very minor things wrong which we pointed out to the couple running the place because we didn't want them thinking we had caused any damage. The lady told me our lodge was due for an upgrade and not to worry as they know about these slight imperfections. I don't think it needs an upgrade;with so many people passing through, there is going to be damage to a property (a couple of dinks in the walls is the sort of thing I'm talking about) None of this took away from the luxurious feel of the property and we adored our time spent here.
Sharon, Cambridgeshire

The lodge looked great! Nice modern decoration, flat screen TV, electric fire, cooker & washer, etc. And obviously the hot tub.. which was a good size for 6 people. Everything was very clean, bathrooms were lovely, plenty of spare bedding and towels, etc. We were very, very pleased with our stay overall!

Date of stay: 16th February 2015
Both my other half and I cannot recommend this lodge (with the hot tub) enough. It was BEAUTIFUL, and in excellent condition. It was very very spacious, and had every kitchen utensil we could possibly need - which was perfect as we cooked plenty of meals in the spotless kitchen. The lodge heated up very quickly and stayed very warm! Well insulated.
Our lodge was one of the first ones (near the entrance) but maintained great privacy. Even in the hot tub in the late evening we felt very secluded
Tele has a DVD player and so we got some films from the tescos which is only a 5 minute drive away.
Loved this lodge, and very friendly staff.

Great lodge, very comfortable beds. The kitchen was ideal as we enjoy cooking. Everything was clean and other than some extra towels , we had all that was needed for a good weeks stay including cooking for and entertaining guests.

Date of stay: 1st December 2014
Lovely accommodation, but it is not what I would call Luxury (and we have stayed in very basic accommodation), reason why, no bedside lamps (was in previous years), only provided 1 toilet roll per bathroom, 1 bin bag (no spares), beds not made properly looked scruffy, also one sheet looked like it had a blood stain on. Quite a lot of the crockery was chipped (and I hate eating/drinking from chipped crockery, but had no choice), they was also insufficient crockery/cutlery to make use of the dishwasher.

On the good side the staff where very helpful and welcoming. the accommodation was clean and site looked lovely.

Location not great, as they were located 5meters from the main road. Also no privacy as the the lodges and hot tubs are overlooked . Children are not allowed scooters/bikes and you are asked for a £100 deposit upon arrival. As you leave , all laundry needs to be left on the hallway ( that's including bed sheets) . Overall, a nice clean lodge but not good value for money , especially during school holidays

Stunning, well equipped lodge, Fixtures and fittings of a high quality. Lovely spacious en-suite and useful dressing area. I found the bed very comfortable (contrary to what others have said about the lodge beds) and I've got spinal problems. The on site staff were very friendly and helpful, The owner showed us around the lodge on arriving which was a nice touch. There isn't a shop on site but there is a great little farm shop across the road. We had a great time and have no complaints whatsoever.

Just perfect. We stayed in a lodge without hot tub, but we didn't bother. It was clean with great facilities and nice beds in which we slept very well.

The shower over the bath was not working. So we informed them straight away but was told nothing could be done. Staff very Rude again. Four girls trying to get ready to go out & only having 1 shower was ridiculous, considering we paid to have luxury & 2 bathrooms. The bath could not be used because it took forever to fill up.

Excellent site. Well maintained. Friendly welcome. Very relaxing stay. The lodge was warm, clean and very comfortable.
We loved this place , shame there is no playground for children. It’s near to the beach , there is a lovely little shop very near for everday things and Tescos is 20 mins by car!
Had a lovely family weekend 23-26/3/18 was perfect for what we wanted as we were an adult group so chose a lodge with a hot tub, close to a restaurant, Beach/Harbour, and town if you wanted it. It is quite a quiet place but has everything you need.
fabulous lovely cabin inside and out
Amazing lodge and amazing little getaway will definitely be coming back soon
Lodges are very clean an
We had the most amazing weekend at Jaybelle Grange the lodge was superb it was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need and want and would recommend it to anyone
Absolutely lovely weekend break. Well situated lodges. We had one with a hot tub, amazing even with a bit of snow on the ground. Lodge was well equipped and maintained. Wifi pretty good too. Thank you 😀
Only spent four days here but lodge was very comfortable and clean. Only downside depending on who you have next door could be noisy early morning with car/van doors slamming. Overall would visit again.
A very pleasant stay in a well appointed lodge. Leaking shower valve and bulbs not working in cooker hood reported to lodge management at end of stay. I assume not fixed before we arrived because previous residents didn't report them. Did not detract from enjoyment of stay.
Had a fantastic time @ Jaybelle a couple of weeks ago. Was a lovely weekend away for us Mummies to relax, chill and take a very short stroll to the pub for lunch and some wine!
Our weekend at Jaybelle lodges was the perfect relaxing getaway. The lodge was spacious, spotlessly clean, well furnished and had everything there we could have needed. The hot tub was a dream and maintained by the owners daily. Booking, (even for an all female group), check in and check out was extremely easy and staff were helpful. As to location we barely left the lodge so can’t comment on the surroundings other than the oystercatcher inn that served fabulous food and drink around a roaring fire! We’d all be more than happy to recommend and to return!
A lovely break at Jaybelle Grange and the hot tub was brilliant. The lodge was very spacious and was warm and nicely decorate. The pub next door was also a bonus but everything else was driving distance. I would definitely visit again.
Had a lovely relaxing break
