We stayed in a really cosy house that kept us warm on a rainy December day, which was a blessing! The bath was fantastic and the shower was spacious-just what we needed. The location is perfect if youve got dogs that dislike fireworks, since its pretty remote. The house itself is beautifully converted and well-equipped. Honestly, we loved it. Thanks so much for having us!

We stayed in 96 brambles.. our accommodation was wonderful.. With a mini welcome pack of washing up liquid, cloth, sponge and tea towel we had a washing machine and dishwasher in the modern kitchen.Full size single beds in the twin room, with plenty of wardrobe space and a dressing table.Very spacious main bathroom with a bath and vanity unit with the sink. The main bedroom was very big with plenty of storage and wardrobe space, a large dressing table and a king size bed and en-suite with shower.

The only reason my rating lost a star was due to the checking-in process. Cannot fault the accommodation, a beautiful lodge in a lovely green part of the park. The communal pool was really nice although we didnt use it much. Cafe was small but OK although quite expensive. The shop was even smaller and just a few shelves of essentials, best to stock up at the supermarket which is a drive away. CHECK-IN ISSUES - for days before the holiday I received several emails about the digital key that I could use to open the lodge and avoid checking-in at reception. Myself and 2 other guests downloaded the necessary app and awaited the email. More emails arrive reminding us to have the app ready and head straight to the accommodation of arrival. We were very excited to try the digital key! However upon arrival we park up at our lodge - apps at the ready to unlock the door It doesnt work. We realise the locks look like normal locks that require a key. So we hauled ourselves back in the car and down to reception. To be told ah yes that lodge doesnt have a digital key, you need a physical key that is in the key safe. Would have been fine but why the incessant emails about the digital key and reception-less check-in!? Were given the code to the safe and retrieve the keys. Only to realise there isnt actually a key for the front door. Only the back doors, with no explanation. Again, it was fine but wish wed been told! Aside from the check-in we enjoyed the holiday and would recommend the lodge with a hot tub and it felt so luxurious looking out at the green hills from the tub ??

We recently stayed at The Old Oak Lodge and honestly, it was just what we needed. The place looks exactly like the pictures - modern, sleek and cosy all at once. The kitchen was fully stocked with loads of plates, cups and glasses, so we never had to worry about running out. The space is quite compact but feels surprisingly roomy because everything is well thought out, making it really comfortable - it felt like a home away from home. The sofa was super comfy, perfect for lounging and watching TV, which you can move around thanks to the bracket. WiFi was reliable, we even downloaded some Netflix shows just in case it was slow, but streaming was smooth all weekend. The hot tub was a real highlight, especially after days out exploring. The lodges elevated position was a nice touch, giving a bit more privacy, though the hot tub area could be a tad more secluded. Overall, a fantastic stay and definitely worth booking. The location is perfect for exploring all over Devon, so wed happily go back!

We absolutely enjoy visiting Devon Hills, its such a fantastic spot, perfectly placed for exploring places like Torquay, Paignton, Brixham and Totnes. As frequent travellers, weve stayed in quite a few lodges there, but the Sunset View lodge really stands out, mainly because of that lovely hot tub-perfect for unwinding in the evenings! Its super easy to use and lifting the lid is no hassle at all, thanks to the handy lifting arm; no need to be super strong, which is a relief. We do think the new phone key system took a bit of getting used to at first, but its manageable once you get the hang of it. Overall, wed recommend Devon Hills to anyone looking for a lovely break at a well-located park. Cant wait to go back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Harriets place. The location is stunning and super private, which was just what we needed for a relaxing break. The owners are really friendly and easy to reach if you need anything, but they dont intrude on your space. The hot tub was a real treat after a day out cycling. The only thing to note is that the cottage is quite close to Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. We got used to it quickly, though and it didnt ruin our holiday at all. Would definitely recommend!

We had a lovely stay at this charming cottage, tucked away on a working farm but still feeling very private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are absolutely lovely and made us feel welcome. The place itself is surprisingly spacious, with well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. The bed was super comfy, which was a bonus after long walks. The garden is perfect for dogs - totally private and nicely furnished. We also enjoyed exploring the nearby walks and dining in Thaxteds great restaurants like The Star and The Maypole. Overall, wed definitely recommend it!

We recently spent a weekend at the park and honestly, the location was spot on - really convenient and pretty scenery around. However, the security barriers were a bit of a pain; they kept failing to recognise our number plate, which meant every exit involved a trip to reception or a phone call. It got to the point we werent keen on leaving after reception hours just in case we couldnt get back in, which was a bit frustrating. We also ate at The Blagdon Inn one evening and the food was lovely, but it took ages - about 40 minutes - before we got served anything. It seemed like one young lady was doing everything herself; she was behind the bar, serving tables, clearing up - she was working really hard, I think her name was Lucy. The other staff member just stood by, not much help. Still, Lucy was excellent and definitely the highlight of the service. Our caravan was really top-notch too, super clean and comfortable, making our stay very enjoyable overall. Despite the few hiccups, we had a lovely time and would consider coming back!

We had such a lovely stay! The cottage was super cosy and perfect for some peace and quiet, but still close enough to shops and local spots. The hot tub was a real treat and the underfloor heating made everything so comfy. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie were fantastic hosts. Can't wait to return!

We had such a lovely stay at this cottage! The place is really well looked after and fully equipped, making it super comfy. Loads of dog walks right outside the door, which was perfect for our furry friends. The host was really friendly and easy to chat with and we loved meeting the farm animals, especially Penelope the pig. Definitely coming back, great value for money!
