The lodge was lovely, spacious and clean.Hot tub was great! There are empty plots in this area so it felt nice and quiet and not overlooked by other lodges. Minor niggles-new mattress in the main room is needed as mentioned in other review-it was ok but not comfy. A few extra towels/ bath mats would have been great and extra hooks in the bathroom. We used the indoor swimming pool which was nice and could have get busy . We would stay here again.

A very spacious modern lodge with a nice hot tub on the balcony, dog walking fuel very close and nice views of the surrounding Devon countryside, only one slight negative was a lot of unfinished plots but on the plus side it was very quiet

The mobile home was very clean . Tv was very dated & small not a smart Tv Oven seemed ok as cooked a meal & fridge / freezer normal full size so great for familys wanting to bring as much fridge or freezer food as they need as I can remember mobile homes Ive stayed in before having tiny under counter fridge/ freezers . There was complimentary washing up liquid / hand wash / tea towel / dish cloth & coffee / tea / sachet milk & in bathrooms toilet rolls / shower gel/ shampoo . Bed was very comfy & good quality bedding , but again nice to have TV in room but that was really tiny & not a smart tv . Think a tv upgrade is definitely needed. We found the corner sofa really uncomfortable as base is a pull out bed so plywood so no cushioning under seat cushions or at the back so gave us both neck & back pain we had to use pillows from the bedroom to give some kind of soft cushioning to the sofa !

Patches on floor from leak, very small bedrooms and hot tub not working properly.

The caravan itself was clean and comfortable although a little dated. The newer ones did look a bit nicer and seemed to have laminate throughout rather than carpet which makes much more sense seeing as there was no hoover to use. But for what we paid it was completely fine and had everything we needed. Grateful that we took fans with us as it was a very warm week!!

Definitely not a 6 berth other than bedrooms as the caravan was not equipped for 6 people. Table with 4 chairs and out door table 4 chairs. Settee comfy but not big enough for 6 unless you used the big bean bag to sit on floor. Only 2 robes for 6 people. Hot tub nice but would strut to fit 6 too 4 comfortable. Decking needed replacing around hot tub. Spotless clean and enough plates and cutlery. Two toilets and one shower. Busy when everyone wants a shower. For a superior it could have been bigger with two bathrooms and bigger kitchen living area.

Beautiful modern Lodge and great location. This lodge was brand new, the only thing I can say, it needed more kitchen utensils, such as chopping boards and hot plate stands etc . Apart from those missing items, the Lodge was amazing, clean and comfortable. Would stay here any time.

I checked in on the 23rd June for 4nights The location and lodge are beautiful however there are a few things that can be a lot better.1. Air circulation, its very musty smelling and the carpets in the bedroom do need a good clean from time to time.2. No iron and ironing board facilities in the room although there is a laundrette it is not convenient. We actually went to a local store (the range and purchased one)3. No one came and asked if we needed any fresh towels and or even top up on toilet paper.4. Our bins was never emptied, this was overflowing and we had to use alternative in the end. 5. Checking out, I didnt even get an acknowledgment, asking if I enjoyed my stay, it was literally keys handed back and was told safe travels.. for nearly £400.00 I expected a lot more, for this reason I will not be staying here again

Will not be returning, very disappointing. Lodge was on a new development with many empty concrete bases, with overgrown grass around, which was an eye sore and was only cut on our last day. Although in the distance there was hills and country scenery it was blotted by the view of empty concrete bases and unkept green areas. Patio table was barely big enough to get 4 people round and the furniture had an appearance of very cheap, so light a bit of wind would blow the chairs across the decking. Cutlery drawer was dirty and also some of the utensils in them and no baking trays. Lack of cupboard space to store food. Oven took well beyond cooking times to cook anything. Ensuite bathroom mirror had a large crack on which affected the integrity of the shelf attached to the mirror. Lodge stated games console, which was not present. Lack of hooks and double sockets. Mattresses were awful and very worn. Hanging space for clothes but no chest of drawers to store clothes. Shop onsite is quite small and limited. We have stayed at many lodge parks over the years and this was by far the most disappointing

The Tor Lodge made our holiday very enjoyable and we loved everything about it.
Daniel
Date of stay: 15th May 2025
Not quite the 'LODGE' we expected, just a slightly upgraded caravan, though it was nice, it was cramped (like most caravans), it wasn't quite fully equipped for 6 people as most of the cutlery was short, so many things such as knives, forks and plates were a few short. The beds were comfy, but very soft and bouncy, so not the greatest, but we did sleep quite well. The decking area looked a little worse for wear though with quite a few areas looking rotten with holes around hot tub.The pricing was good for the accommodation though the decking area show signs for concern.
